Current Comics can be found here. This series is actually three different stories in three separate time periods. As you would probably imagine, making enough characters for this would be really difficult.
Post here if you're interested in having a part in this, whether good, evil, or neutral.
I'm not sure yet how many spots I'll have open, so I'll just see who shows up.
Mettic - May 17, 2008 02:38 PM (GMT)
My interest is perked.
Neutral.

1410-
On some forgotten continent, a catastrophe occurs that destroys a nation. Shortly after this tragedy, Burard, which covers roughly 45% of the mainland, invades the much smaller country of Lukul. Several other nations on the continent band together to fight off Burard. However, there is something even darker and more sinister than Burard's sudden lust for power brewing behind the scenes.
2867-
Many years in the future, Humanity has spread throughout the galaxy. However, we are not alone. Several different alien civilizations have assisted humanity in technological advancement. With the interbreeding of humans and aliens, a large group becomes concerned for man's fate. A group of predominantly human planets form the Union of peace and prosperity for Humanity, or U.P.P.H.
Tension builds.
2008-
Everything seems peaceful. The average human would even say boring. But they don't realize that there are people with special powers living among them.
Alien encounters, evil organizations, and massive property damage are to be expected.
Alignment guide-
Good: More inclined to help others. Usually will risk their lives for others. Opinions on voilence vary.
Neutral: Usually look out for themselves, but aren't completely selfish monsters. In most cases, they prefer not to get involved. Other times, they only join in for the sake of fighting.
Evil: More inclined to destruction, and most likely to start fights. More often than not, will kick good and neutral when they're down.
A character may switch between these, as dictated by the plot.
Inclination guide-
Includes what leads a character to act, or where they'll hang out. For example, a character will be found most often in a park, if they enjoy that atmosphere, or a bar, if they would prefer that. Besides the preferred habitat, certain characters will have certain traits that will lead them to be at certain places during certain times. For example, someone who enjoys fighting will go out and pick fights, while someone who enjoys eating will be at places with food.
If I missed anything, or you have any ideas, please let me know. |
I hope this helps.
And Mettic, I'm gonna need his inclinations/motivations.
Himo Galanodel - May 26, 2008 09:13 AM (GMT)
heh, sounds kinda interesting
Mark me down for good.
inclination/motivation "stuff": born with a supernatural ability to sense evil(though to be more more specific, he can sense one's aura and its inclination between good and evil, including(if any) supernatural powers one might possess(he can sense if the person has special powers, not what they are)), Himo is probably capable of crushing of crushing such organizations before people even notice they exist. But if asked why he doesn't do just that, he would answer, "That would be too troublesome. I'd be spending my entire time doing that and never have time to relax or go to my job." Most of the time, when he isn't at home/work, he can be found just sitting around in random places(rooftop, park street, ceiling, other random places.
as for the time zone, any of the three would work for me. or even(heh) all three.
Now back to coma time for me before someone complains about all my grammatic errors.

Forgot to add motivations D:
Mettic works only for the side that has the best benefits for him.
Once he choses his side, he is loyal 'till the battle between the sides is over, or the other side gives him better benefits.
What are some of the benefits Mettic likes, you say?
Well, one is the benefit of blowing up the most shit.
I think you can make off the benefits from there.
And for time period...
2008 and 2876, due to Mettic being a robot character, he can't die of old age.

Well, it's most likely he'll be in the past, since he uses a sword. The other two eras have some pretty impressive weaponry.

Sure, if maintained, a robot could last a while. but 800 years is a really long time, and robots aren't all that common in 2008. We'll just have to see.
