Title: Looking for a challenge!!
Description: Wild Fox looking to strike once more...

WildFox03 - April 5, 2008 02:43 AM (GMT)
" How long it as been since I go around here ? "

Those where the words that came into Erik mind as he walk on the paths of the fallout Shelter. Quite seemed to have changed since he lefted due to reasons beyond his control. Yes things perhaps where not as it used to be, but He could feel that it was turning for the good. He kept walking, as many poeple around him where minding there bisness, talking, messing around, having fun about everything and anything well, its what TFS always was about?

A smile formed into his face as he went on, waving at a couple of people that waved at him back, since some still knew about him. Some poeple view him as a breath of fresh air as he recalled to had a certain popularity within those boundaries, but he didnt mind much, since he was just being who he his: a easy going person with a good heart. He had ULX to thank for coming back to the place, as a little bit of nostalgia struck him as he decided to come back.

So he went on, taking out from his short vest his trusty Ipod, witch he putted onto his ears and start listening on what he recently added. Some dynasty warriors tunes he was lucky to pick up. The day was great as he went on his way, looking trough places he forgotten, where activites where going on. Until he went further down his path to a well-maintained park.

As Wild Fox went on to the park, under the battle-driven tunes from his favorite hack an slash serie, He witnessed that there where multiple ring type spaces scattered around the field.

" Well Ill be damned, I actually return the the old battle ground. "

The battle ground. He knew this place all too well, afterall, He was knowned to be once capable fighter. To the earlier days he went on challenges after challenges with help him grew stronger in mind, body and also make a couple of new friends. He stood onto one of the areas, witch was surrounded by a metal fence, it had almost the field of a downtown basket-ball court, minus the baskets. He puts a knee on the ground as he looked around. He would remember the bump and bruises, and wins and the defeats. To him, he wasent the stereotypical battle-driven muscle-head, He view his challenges as a way to grow as an human being. Erik stood there, soaking in the moment and the memories, almost wishing that somehow someone would perhaps come to him, like the good old days...

[Well folks,it up to anyone who wish to step in. ^^]

Wise_Idiot - April 5, 2008 03:24 AM (GMT)
Wise hummed quietley as he walked toward the arena, his attention on the novel by R.A. Salvatore. He had just gotten to the climatic battle when he pushed open the gate to his preferred arena for his training bouts with the dummies created by the arena. He glanced up, and stopped suddenly as he saw somebody was already here.

"Oh," he spoke, lowering the book. "Sorry, I didn't know this arena was already in use."

((Gah, short post))

WildFox03 - April 5, 2008 03:39 AM (GMT)
Erik shortly stopped daydreaming as he felt a presence near him. He turned around as he saw a familiar face he seen before.

Erik: "Oh scuse moi, I was just looking around." He said kindly, as he also forgot his french-canadian slip-up in his speach. "Hmm, I think I saw you one time, Would your name be Wise by any chance?" He continued on, as he felt happy to have a pleasant conversation with somebody as if he came around here, he must be a fighting enthousiam as well. He then couldnt stop noticing he was looking at a book.

"Oh you where reading something? What his that?" he said as his cultural mind stepped in for a bit. But then he kinda put on the breaks. "Oh how silly I am! Am Erik, but some poeple around hear now me as Wild Fox." as he extend his hand.

Wise_Idiot - April 5, 2008 04:07 AM (GMT)
Wise snapped his book shut as the man began speaking to him, mentioning that Wise looked familiar to him. In fact, Wise recognized him as well. He tapped his chin quickly, and then nodded. "Oh right, Wild Fox, I remember seeing you around before. In the wrestling section, if I remember correctly."

Wise immediately took the offered hand, shaking it. At the mention of the book, he smirked underneath his mask and held it up. "Ah, this is the Icewind Dale Trilogy. A fantasy novel about swords and magic. Dungeons and Dragons. A good read," he finished with a wink.

He released Erik, taking a step back. "So, Erik, are you here for training?"

WildFox03 - April 5, 2008 04:18 AM (GMT)
Erik smiled as he scratched his goatee looking to the surroundings. "Well I just recently came back and I came here to brew some old memorable memories. But yeah, I might start to come here more often to take some rust off and perhaps make this area visitable once more. What better to make bonds and have a pleasurable gathering then some friendly battles and competition." He said in all honestly as his eyes where filled with pride and benevolance.

"Oh and about reading, I should suggest you look for the chinese novel Romance of the three kingdoms. I been looking for it myself and it tells greats tales of greats poeple and warriors fighting trough chaos." Fighting the odds seemed something he knew all too well.

"What about you Wise you came to look for someone to train along with? Perhaps I could be helpful." He said, as nothing would make him more happy to do that, since its what he known for.

Wise_Idiot - April 5, 2008 04:59 AM (GMT)
Wise looked around the arena, remembering the several bouts that took place here. "I was planning on getting some training in on the dummies, but they're a little boring..."

Wise looked back at Erik at the mention of helping him. "Hmm...I dunno, can you put up a good fight?" he asked as he raised an arm and flexed it, placing his other hand on the tightened muscle. In truth, he wasn't the most avid fan of fighting another sentient being, but a friendly spar made it easier for him to accept it.

And who knows? He might even enjoy it.

WildFox03 - April 5, 2008 05:32 AM (GMT)
Erik nods at him as he signal him to wait for a second as he went over to a bench to puts his loose belongings on it, Mostly his Ipod. "I may broke it as it could fall off to my pocket." He said simply put.

Erik then returned as he smiled at him. It wasent a smile of cockyness, more of anticipation. He never was the one to brag about his abilities, It was never his attention. He simply closed his eyes. He suddenly focused for a moment, as he stood still letting the feeling sink into him. As they open he looked calmly to him. " The repartition of the physical and mystic energy tell me that you are a spellcaster as that you are a fighter. Also the fluidity of you arm movements Also tells me that you are a capable swordsman. Yes, I do believe that I shall me more than a challenge for you my friend." Just like like that, He made a quick and perhaps well summed up analysis of him just by feeling this energy, analysing his movements. looks like he did not loose his skills after all. Good thing he kept training himseld to his Fighting Training Center witch he kept running. Hopefully he did not took his affirmation too bad. He did not meant to either offend it or mock him, as he could see through his mask that Erik was honest and fair.

"Wise, I will glady take your offer as a challenge. There one thing I want to tell you. Give me everything you have and I shall give you my all. Dont you worry about the consequences, You and I shall only be fine and better out of this." he told him, giving him a smile of genuine trust. Then without hesitation, he slowly turned sideways as his feets gently putted pressure onto the slick brick like surface that was the fighting ground, as he clinch his left fist and brough his hand up to his waist, as the other arm was let loose in front of his body. He then wait and barely moved in his stance. His eyes was set on Wise, stoic, calm, ready.

" I shall not dissapoint him. "

Wise_Idiot - April 6, 2008 04:15 AM (GMT)
Wise nodded as Erik stepped aside to set down his things, taking the time to set his book on the side-line bench.

As he returned to center stage, Erik suprised him by appraising his skill in magicry and swordsmanship. Wise's eyes widened, his apprasail, although vague, was on the mark. Wise silently praised his opponent for his work, and vowed to give him a good fight.

He nodded at the condition of the fight. "I hold nothing back, and we enjoy this fight to the fullest. I vow this to you."

He spread his feet, faceing Erik. He bent his knees, and his back slightly, curling hs arms and tightening them against his sides, looking like he was preparing for a punch, and stood still, staring Erik down.

"Don't hold back."

Kozmic Kat - April 6, 2008 04:34 AM (GMT)
((I'll be using an old character of mine, I hope you both don't mind.))

So battle was once again awakening. How intriguing.

The stages of old had not been used for some time, quite interesting that now, of all times, they would be reactivated, and by the hands of an older member, quite interesting indeed. The ambition to fight was there, yes, but the malice was not in either fighter.

"Though it is in me, I'm afriad." Thought an observer, who still came frequently to the old grounds as a remembrance to the days of youth and ignorance to what a true fight or story was about. This observer stood, perched on a building above both fighters, and he was not about to have a fight without his involvement. Thus he stood, his new clothes fluttering in the wind, this could be fun.

"You do realize, I will have to participate to." An excited, rather deep and demonic voice said, as sounds of feet jumping from pavement filled the air. The observer landed to the right of both fighters. His black hair stuck up straight, while his two bangs fell down over his face, colored an odd shade of blue. Two ears stuck out from his head, the ears of a cat, his human ears, covered by hair. His face was cold, filled with experience and wisdom in the art of battle, that much was clear. His smile, more of a sinister grin, stretched across his face, showing his more malicious fangs. On his torso, a black cloak that covered up his neck, and flung out in the back, leaving the front exposed, however it appeared the cloak had been mended recently, as belts came across the top half of the front, keeping it to his chest. Under his cloak, a white shirt showed itself. His pants, nothing more than cloth, allowing easy movement. He wore no shoes, his bare feet showing.

"It's been a long time since I have even set foot into these arenas with someone else, let alone two combatants." His grin grew further, "This is one opportunity I simply cannot pass up."

WildFox03 - April 6, 2008 05:04 AM (GMT)
Erik's sharp mind was quick to react as he swifly turn his attention to the unkown figure that just jump into the fray. The first thing he saw from him was those cold eyes of his. He knew all too well trough his numerous studies that he too seemed to be an veteran in the art of battle. But he knew also that he faced many challenges like him, and his experience made him remained calm and composed.

The first thing he did, as it was an reaction of instinct from him, that he stood up right and make a couple of steps to be just right in front in the the angle between the figure and Wise. Kind as he was, He always tought of the safety of his friends and people.

Erik calmly looked to him as he pointed his finger to him. "And who might you be? If I can ask mon ami?" as he remained quite approachable yet cautious, as he wasent sure yet if his "evil" vibe was truly of evil attention, or just an attitude.

Kozmic Kat - April 6, 2008 03:50 PM (GMT)
"Who am I?" The figure asked, kind of chuckling to himself, his voice becoming a bit raspy because of it. His grin, showing his enthusiasm, was almost as stretched as it could be. "Katsu," He said, bowing a little, showing his character. "An old member of TFS, who has personally, been itching for a fight for a long time. However, as you can see," Katsu held out his arm, opening his body by shifting his right foot back. "This place is rather barren."

Katsu looked around, as his grin faded down to a smile, and then a calm disposition. "So, if you would allow it, I would love to join your little battle."

WildFox03 - April 6, 2008 09:17 PM (GMT)
"Katsu, your name heh? Well you seem a little familiar to me now that I think about it. Guess you may not reconize me as well, I am Erik, mostly Knowned as The Wild Fox." He said, as he was a little more confident about him.

What a turn of event he thought to himself. As he never knew that he would have come here to this place and have not only one challenger but two. A 3 way his always something he was appreciating, cause in those kind of battle you had to stay on your toes and be careful on both sides, as you had to pick your openings both on offence and defense. What a great way to get back into shape.

"Well now that you stated your case, I would be glad to have you join into our battle. Of course, if Wise over here does not have any objections?" He said, as he turned around and see how Wise had reacted to this suprise entry.

Wise_Idiot - April 7, 2008 04:50 AM (GMT)
Wise was about to commence the opening attack when the voice rang out. Wise's eyes flicked to the right as the cloaked man landed before him and Erik.

Wise studied the new arrival as it made its introduction, and as Erik conversed with it. He looked over his attire, his notable lack of shoes, and the large cloak. Wise pondered about the hair for a moment, but reasoned that it was probably dye. His eyes lingered on the ears, giving them a second glance before moving to his mouth, where he saw the flash of fangs. Wise's brow furrowed under his metallic mask: this was getting suspicious. Wise thought for a moment, and decided to confirm his suspicions. He tilted his head back slightly, closed his eyes, and reached out mentally towards the newcomer.

As Wise's conciousness brushed with the outer walls of the newcomer's, Wise's mind retreated as his eyes snapped open. He knew then what stood in front of him, and he smiled. He hadn't fought one in awhile, and looked forward to beating one.

"Of course, if Wise over here does not have any objections?"

The mention of his name snapped Wise out of his thoughts, and turned his attention towards Erik. He put on the calmest visage he could, and shrugged at Erik. But he gave his original opponent a look that said Be wary...

WildFox03 - April 7, 2008 02:52 PM (GMT)
Erik nods as he saw Wise's reaction. So he was ready to go along with that. So as he agreed, Erik made a few steps back so all three would in a triangle formation before beginning, with katsu at the far end and Wise and Erik tothe lower half.

As Erik prepare, thus commence his heavy analysis of both of his opponents. His mind was already well underway of figuring out his tactics, as first he noticed Wise's glimspe of incertitude towards him.

"Hmm..looks like he know something that I dont, I am well aware that Wise. may hold more that sufficent to be a cause of trouble. But dont you worry, Its only beginning and as it will go along, I will be able to read him like an open book..."

As he continued to focus with his inner thoughts, he regained his initial battle stance. This time he kept himself even so he would be looking for both Wise and Katsu. His eyes where cautiously looking to both. His hands where loosing up. This 3 way was about to commence...

Kozmic Kat - April 8, 2008 12:05 AM (GMT)
Katsu put his finger to his lips, and he licked it. He grinned, throwing up his hand in the air. "LETS BEGIN!" He roared with a laughter of a frequency a human couldn't make. He flung his other arm up, and with it, a gust of wind came from his left side, in a cone shape going from his chest to his side. The cone quickly spread 60ft forward, taking in the man on his left, the man named Erik.

The winds were not strong enough to cut, no, but enough to push a 200lb object backwards. Katsu was obviously counting on his opponent being lighter, otherwise it would do nothing.

Katsu took a leap backwards after his arm had fully went across his body, to commence his second strike, on Wise. He flung his right hand to the right, some of the droplets of spit on the ground in front of him. However, this wasn't any focus of his attack.

Katsu made his hand in a straight way, like someone would karate-chop a board, and flung his hand down, a large wind blade coming off his arm. It was versicle, easier to avoid than his first attack, however it shot much quicker. The blade was sharp, and could cut right through 10ft of solid steel, if of course Katsu shot it at steel.

The fight had begun.

WildFox03 - April 8, 2008 12:50 AM (GMT)
The battle had begun, and Katsu made the first strike. He liked that. Cause like this he could already have an heads up on the competition.

Katsu started as he delivered a kind of wind attack over to him as the cone of wind came right over him. Erik quickly reacted as he had already his feets firmly planted to the ground, as he rapidly put the pressure easly by his left foot and covered his face with his right arm. The wind attack had some kick to it but Erik his massive frame tough as a rock was able to withstand it. Thus he also witnessed also Katsu second attack over to wise.

"Wind type attacks heh? Ill keep that noted. Now lets engage him..." As during the time he covered himself, he slowly lifted his left hand up to the side, clinching his fingers. He then winded up like he was about to do an underhand softball throw, and with one swift swing of the hand...

"REPPUKEN!!!" He shouted as a bright blue slicing streak of energy tored through the remains of his wind attack as it was digging his way trough the soft brick ground at Katsu. For a swift swing of the hand, this slicing ark was rather large, as it gradually reached a height of 7 feet on his way to Katsu. It was one of his primary attack he train on, as he could do some moderate slicing damages.

Athias - April 8, 2008 01:07 AM (GMT)
On the opposite side of the metal fence stood yet another man eager for a fight. He was an odd man, there was no doubt of that, his face seemed to be constantly changing, not in features but in age. At one moment, he looked as young as twenty, with a hint of a beard and a vivacious gleam in his eyes, at the next, he appeared sixty, all traces of vivaciousness replaced with lethargy. In fact, all it took was a glance at the man's hand to find that his whole body was acting this way. It was an odd affliction, yet as his age shifted his want to fight remained the same, as was evident when he leaped over the fence, his oddly-grey eyes filled with a manic glee.

"May I join?" he yelled to the fight's participants in a rather anti-climactic move.

WildFox03 - April 8, 2008 01:41 AM (GMT)
Wild Fox's mind quickly reacted as he turns sharply around to the other person that just jumped over the fence, witch in all was quite some feat. In quick time, as was rather suprised by the sudden entrance, as indeed it kinda made a break into the combat vibe.

" Oh dear, this one look rather like one odd caracter. He might be pretty much onorthodox, quite an oddball. Man this day keep going better and better!! "

" Well as they say, the more the merrier!! " He told the man with a cheerful attitude. He quickly make a two step leap backward so he had now all three individuals in his line of vision. He once again regain his battle stance and stand cautiously for the next move, wherever it will come.

Wise_Idiot - April 8, 2008 02:44 AM (GMT)
Wise side-stepped the wind attack, feeling the sharp air rush by him. Wind element, eh?

As his foot hit the ground, he pushed off, breaking into a run at Katsu. His hand shot out to his side, and a purple fireball burst to life in his palm as he reached Katsu. He pulled back his hand and formed it into a fist, immolating with the magic fire, and swung it forward, aiming for Katsu's face.

Kozmic Kat - April 8, 2008 02:58 AM (GMT)
Katsu's attacks had both failed, but that was no problem, he didn't expect them to. So, to asses the situation, this fighter Wild Fox could withstand a good amount of wind like a rock, intriguing. This next fighter, wise, could dodge attacks quickly. Also, a voice had rung out, from the sidelines, a boy was asking if he could join into the battle. All this occurred in Katsu's head in an instant, his mind worked quickly.

Katsu's eyes obviously caught the blue blade of energy coming for him first. He was about to react when in his corner of his left eye, he saw Wise running after him. He smirked to himself, and then, as Wise's fist was feet away from meeting his face, he jumped into the air, kicking up wind under him to fly above both attacks as fast as he could. "Watch your surroundings boy!" He yelled to Wise, who was about to be hit with Wild Fox's attack, that he had ran into range of.

Katsu floated 20ft in the air, the wind holding him up. He could now address the new person out of the battle. "Come in whenever you see fit." He yelled to him, "We have no problem with more."

Katsu floated backwards now, holding up his hands and looking onto the battle below him. He would need to not cut things so close next time, as Wise's punch had come close to him, and those flames looked like something he didn't need hitting him.

Athias - April 8, 2008 09:15 PM (GMT)
A thin, jagged smile spread across the man's lips, almost resembling a crack in his thin face. The scent of battle was weak in the air, it was thick with dust and sweat, but the smell of blood was all but nonexistant. This would have to change, battle was a grim and glorious painting in an otherwise mundane museum. The victory a lusterous shade of yellow comparable to gold, the conflict a vibrant red, and the loss a masterfully painted black streak across the middle. And yet, not one of these colors was shown in the pathetic portrait the man saw before him; the brilliant hues of battle replaced with dull greys and, perhaps, just a few dabs of pink. No, this wouldn't do at all.
Picking his target, the man lept forward towards Katsu, the gravel crunching beneath his feet as he pushed himself off the ground. Mid leap, a large pair of wings, translucent and yet black as night, violently emerged from his spine, ripping through both his flesh and his white shirt, which was now stained red with blood. It was an eerie sight to behold, the man, still grinning that jagged grin, looking as limp as a ragdoll as his wings forced themselves out, blood trickling down his body and splashing down on the ground. After a breif moment of stillness, in which the man appeared to be suspended in the air, he soared upwards towards his prey with one large flap.
The man plunged his hand towards Katsu, he began to bleed once again, as glass shot out of his fingers.

((Ugh, I haven't made a good post like that since god knows how long.

Also, I'll be refering to him as 'the man' until I think of a better name for him. But if you guys want, I can explain what he is a little, as he's clearly not just a man.))

((Well, firstly, he's a Dream. A dream is basically the shared belief of a mass of humans taking a tangible form. A dream is less of a being and more of a force, that force being the collective beliefs of said humans. There are two types of dreams. The first is dreams tend to wax and wane depending on the current religion/folklore, for example, in the olden days of Ireland, these dreams would be of the fae and the merrow, whereas after it was dominated by christianity, these dreams might be of angels and demons. The second type of dreams are based on a combination of hopes and fears in addition to the folklore. For example, in the Irish myth, there were good andbad fae, the dreams of the good fae might be paired with something people like, like light, causing them to glow (or something.). Now, the dreams of the bad fae might pair them with death, making them appear rotten and corpse-like.

My character is a 'Nightmare', which is basically a malevolant dream.))

Wise_Idiot - April 9, 2008 03:28 AM (GMT)
Wise growled as Katsu flew away, the flames on his fist barely licking his opponent's bare feet. Wise snapped his head up and glowering at the floating demon as he taunted him. But a small smirk found itself on Wise's face. If he only knew...

Wait, surroundings?

Wise spun on his heel, sword drawn, and energy crackling through it as the energy wave was only a few feet away. He brought the sword down in an over-head chop, and the energy slash split in two! The two energies veered off, leaving Wise with his sword point buried into the ground. Wise looked slightly annoyed, but knew it was his fault in the first place.

He looked up at the new combatant as it took flight with it's bloody wings, his eyes dilating slightly at the spectacle. That CAN'T be good.

He turned, looking at Erik, and kicked off, rushing towards him as he sheathed his sword, and igniting his fist again.

WildFox03 - April 9, 2008 04:21 AM (GMT)
Erik witnessed Wise fending off his Reppuken , and grew a smile to the corner of his lips. " Nice counter, he fast on his feets..." He told to himself quickly as he quickly monitored the battlefield.

Katsu seemed to handle his own well, he shown skill with wind elements, but he was far too smart to fell to the assumption that he was a one trick pony. He lfelt by his eyes and way of acting that he had way much further in his sleeves then he was initially showing, so he kept on his toes as he was quickly attacked by the new opponent....

" Glass out of his fingers?! Mon dieu, this guy his way more abnormal than I ever seen..I am barely feeling any physical energy out of him..could it be..a mystical being out of pure energy? His movement patterns are reckless and unpredictable..likes he must be attacking at random.. "

His mind kept racing on analysis as a small drop of sweat ran across his forehead. Erik knew the feeling. Unpredictable ennemies are the most advanced type of opponent with the higher level of difficulty, as as fighting classes like Druken Fist or manly psychik fighters. A well worth challenge.Witch he loved it. This was not the day he would back down from a big challenge, as he always shown heart and determination.

" Alright, Thats just what I need to see where I am now and if I got rusty. This is great..." As he turned his attention to a charging Wise. " .. But first, let concentrate to the fact that I have 3 opponent to deal with. "

He saw Wise charging to him with his flaming fist. He assumed that he will attempt to throw anonther haymaker at him with his blazing fist of Fury. He crouched slightly, planting his feets on the ground as he took one step back on his left foot as he kind of move his left clinched fist back as he was about to counter punch with him. But he was waiting his initial reaction from him as Wise begun his charge at him.

Kozmic Kat - April 9, 2008 09:36 PM (GMT)
Katsu quirked his eyebrow at the man who had almost had him on the ground, Wise was his name. He was interesting, and he reminded Katsu of something from home. Katsu couldn't put his finger on it, but the feeling he got from Wise was the feeling he only remembers from his homeland in the hells of abyss. He smelt the soul of a demon on him, it was being suppressed, but the aroma was far to great for him not to get a wiff. Wise was in association with a demon all right. That however, was something he would have to address later.

The new man was jumping after him. Katsu turned his attention to him, and kind of laughed, he would never be able to make it to him with that leap. As Katsu lifted his arm to send the man plummeting to the ground, his back twitched, and from his spine sprang wings. Katsu grinned a grin only someone who loved battle could actually achieve. Intriguing, was this new man.

The man had projected shards of glass to him, the size wasn't able to be determined, but it was obvious they weren't that large. It was an interesting ability, to be able to make glass and have wings, this man was not human, or wasn't fully human at least. Glass was created by fusion and compression of atoms, usually rock, that was cooled to a rigid condition without crystallizing. So why was this man able to produce it? No matter.

Katsu flew backwards, putting more distance between the man and him. As he flew back, he propelled himself with a blast of wind, directed at the glass that was coming after him. The blast of wind spiraled around and formed a mini-twister. It sucked up the glass ans spun it around, and also kept spinning towards the man with the wings.

They would have to do better than that to hit him.

Wise_Idiot - April 11, 2008 01:58 AM (GMT)
Wise's feet barely hit the ground before they propelled him forward in great speed. The dark purple flame left a trail of black smoke behind it, twisting into the air as it dissipated it. Wise watched through his whipping hair as Erik bent low, preparing for his imminent attack.

Suprise.

Wise dropped to the ground and slid the last few feet towards Erik. His right foot out at his side, he sweeped it forward, attempting to knock Erik's feet from under him.

WildFox03 - April 11, 2008 03:06 AM (GMT)
Erik was patient as he prepared his windup. He could catch the glimspe into Wise's eye that he was about to change course on his rush. All that time, Erik energy slowly gathered from his feets witch he planted onto the ground as he held on his time as Wise came closer and closer..The many hours he spend into focus exercises and concentration allowed him to concentrate his energy onto his sense as he could almost see the action from his eyes like a slow-mo. Wise changed his course. He quickly move to his side, a swift sliding movement. He remained idle as his eye catch the movement of his right foot about to swing over for a sweep...

" Now! "

Erik not hesitated as the energy he left dormant from his feets was used as he sprung into a graceful backflip, arms extended backwards, right leg outstretched as the left leg was bended. Rather uncanny for a person of his frame, but unknown to them, Erik held the secrets of a very special type of martials art:

...The Fist of the South star.

Erik was slowly flipping back straight, as he knew he had an opening for attack as he would be facing forward after his sweep attempt. So he bended his wrists, letting his fingers looses, and with a swift action....

" Yoooahhhh!!! "

This right hand swipe in a swiftly quick left to right motion across at his upper body, as his left hand move withs a quick swat upward across his face and his mask. His demonstration of nanto Suicho Ken, or Waterfowl Fist was both graceful yet had devastating result, but he knew to hold back, as if he would have struck him full force, he would have sliced his head in four seperated pieces as his upper body would have sliced like butter with a hot knife as well. No, he did put just enough control so it would make some rather medium slicing damage, or he would think as he was miliseconds away to figure out.

The slash across his chest dug deep, tearing four large gashes across his chest, as shallow scratch marks embedded themselves in Wise's metal mask. The feeling of many small explosions hit Wise as lines of blood began to seep out of the cuts on his chest. He let out a howl of rage as he skidded backwards, stopping a few feet backwards

Wise looked down, and saw a dark red color seeping through his white shirt and brown jacket. He let out an annoyed grunt, and looked up at Erik. "This has been my favorite shirt for many years."

His hand was suddenly in front of his face as he began waggling his fingers. He suddenly thrust his hand forward, and an arc of lightning leapt forth, hurtling towards Erik.

((This post sucks…))
The man was caught unaware by Katsu's sudden counter attack, in a matter of seconds, he was overtaken by the gust. As precarious the situation was, the glass did little to add to augment the danger, bouncing harmlessly off him. The wind, however, proved to be a different story. A fetid stench hung in the air as the wind flung him into the concrete; his body seeming to explode into thousands of shards of glass.

That's not to say the man was dead.

From the shattered body of the man rose a ghastly silhouette, it's translucent for black as a moonless night, and it's unnerving grey eyes filled with a sort of manic glee. Contrary to the form it had assumed, the creature was clearly not human. The very thought that this nightmare had even vaguely resembled a human was a chilling thought indeed. It’s head was not of a snake, but consisted entirely of a snake, with poisonous fangs comparable to daggers. It’s body was little more than a poorly-constructed ball of human arms, with hands reaching out from it as if trying to escape the awful fate of belonging to it. It’s skeletal wings, attached to it purely because of two of the myriad outstretched hands which had managed to curl into fists around them, were comparable to those of a vulture, albeit much larger than any vulture to ever have existed. And, it’s tail was another snake, with empty sockets for eyes.

A constant wailing could be heard where the man’s heart once was, one that was comparable to such things as the cry of a dieing child.

He was, by all means, horrifying.

Thankfully, the nightmare’s true form was not exposed for long. In a matter of seconds, it had conjured a new body, one of a child, no less. It was that of a small boy, with dyed black hair, no shirt, and brown shorts of undeterminable material. It was eerie how human the glass vessel looked; more eerie still was the look on its face, one contorted with horror. The nightmare didn’t so much merge with the vessel as he forced himself into it, two of its man hands grabbing onto it and pulling him in.

“That wasn’t very nice,” the boy cooed in a raspy tone, “I suppose I’m just going to have to kill you for that…” Behind the boy, a pillar of glass emerged from the ground, sprouting glass branches, leaves and fruits until it resembled an apple tree. The tree was every bit as beautiful as its creator was horrifying; the light of the sun which fell upon it was magnified, illuminating it in its entirety. The boy sat down in between two of its many branches and picked a red glass apple, which seemed to call out to all those who looked at it, beckoning for them to take a bite.

“But first,” the ‘boys’ voice no longer raspy, but smooth, and innocent in the way only a child’s voice could be. “How about you try an apple?”

“They’re delicious”

Erik felt kind of bad about Wise's remark, as he said that this was his favorite shirt he just messed up. But on he other hand he was rather suprised about how his mask held up. He figured something was special about this mask, but non the less he felt bad. Its then that Wise went on this counter-attack, as he shooted a lighting spark directly at him. Suprisingly he went to to face it head on, as he slided both legs steady and lift his arms in front with both palms together top and bottom. He would have channeled the energy through out body, but his apologetic mindset to the moment made the guard rather sloopy, as he got unbalanced by the force from his point of gravity as he made a few bounces to his feet and went flying barely as his head bounced slightly on the steel fence but he felt rather ackwardly as the back of his head scraped on the way down as he got a gash to the sclap.

"Ugh..that one stung." He said as he sits up, his hand where still fuming a little, as he felt a little tispy but luckly his inner energy was quick to make the balance once again, slowly repairing the inner damages. His healing ability was doing fine since it was the beginning, but as the fight will go, he gonna have to use it wisely as it will loose effectiveness. He shake his head a little as he take a deep breath as he gets up again. He touched the back of his head as he felt some slight warm feeling:its was blood.

"Listen I am sorry about the shirt. When it all over, I will make it up to ya." As he regained his fighting stance and focus once more. As he does so he witness the macabre transformation of the other combatant. The vibe from this opponent was frightning. But he kept his cool. But he somehow felt that they all better be on the look up for it. This look of cautiousness could be seen easly by Wise.

Katsu had seen horrible things, of course, so this "boy's' form was nothing compared to some of the monsters locked up in the abyss. Having a eye on all of the horrible thoughts of man was just a perk for most demons, so they were able to pick out fears quite easily. This thing in front of him, this "boy," was some sort of manifestation of nightmare. The curious part of him, his ability of glass, still hung around in Katsu's mind. He did not know what to think of it, it was an ability only given to special nobility, as far as he was concerned. It was mostly used by succubus, or of the sort, to allure souls to them. Glass was pretty, sure, by Katsu had no need for such an element, only to decorate his mansion with glass sculptures. Maybe, if he killed this man, he would erect his bones into something of glass. Who knows, maybe he'd make a good window.

Katsu put his hands in his pockets as he floated down to the ground, while the boy climbed into his glass tree. The boys attempts to scare him were futile, as were most mind effecting things to a demon of his class. The boy plucked an apple, and asked him if he wanted one. Katsu chuckled to himself, "No I think I'll pass." He pulled his hands out of his pockets, "I have a vampire friend named Perougi. I've learned from him never to take apples. They're most likely poisonous."

Katsu decided he would stop fooling around, this guy would require his full attention. He grabbed his cloak and threw it off, the cloak floating in the wind back about 5 feet before falling behind him. Katsu's arms, like the rest of his body, looked human. However, his arms had many burns, and even more scars. All old, of course, they did not hinder the demon. His shirt's arms were ripped off, so you could tell he'd had the ting for a while, he most likley needed a new shirt to wear for battles.

His cloak being off left one thing on Katsu's back exposed, a sword and a bo staff. Katsu took off the bo staff and the sword, and threw the sword where the cloak was. He slammed the bo staff on the ground and twirled it around a little, before putting the bottom part on the ground.

Katsu looked to the boy, directly in the eyes, avoiding his entrancing glass structure. He started to twirl the bo staff in the direction of the glass structure, wasting no extra time. The bo staff created gale force winds, from how fast Katsu was turning the staff. The radius of the winds extended like a cone, encumbering the full tree and all its inhabitants in it's hand of gust. The winds were enough to take down full 5 story concrete buildings, most likely enough to level the tree. Once he thought he had spun it enough, he added his own little twist to the winds, by putting blades of wind into the twister of, large ones, about 7ft long. He put about 10 into the winds.

Once all that was completed, he stopped, putting the bo staff's bottom to the ground, resting his arms.

Wise was taken aback by his opponent's statement. "Make me a new one?" he asked, suprise showing in his face. But it was quickly changed to a calm, positive look as he shrugged his large black pauldrons. "Very well, but I warn you, I'm very specific about my-"

His witty banter cut short, though, as he felt the power of the creature behind him shift, causing him to look over his shoulder. His eyes widened as he watched the glass shape into a tree, and how the creature had changed into the shape of a boy. The glass tree was alluring, almost hypnotizing, but his mind was kept clear.

He suddenly closed his eyes, and his shoulders slumped as he dove into his own mind.

He saw only dark shadows for a moment, before he came upon a figure as black as night. Wise looked at the figure for a moment, before asking, "That thing...did you see it?"

The figure didn't reply for a moment, taking the time to look over Wise. Wise merely glared at it, always annoyed by it's lax posture. "Yes," the figure finally spoke in a deep voice, "and it intrigues me greately."

Wise wasn't suprised at its answer as he asked, "One of yours?"

The figure's head leaned back as it laughed, and a shudder went down Wise's spine.

"No no, that's not mine, I'm afraid. Something, or somebody, created it," the figure explained, its arms always crossed. Wise gave a derisive snort, turning away and beginning to float away. "Don't eat the apples," the figure called out, laughing again.

The conversation felt like it had taken several minutes, but only a few seconds had passed. Wise straightened his posture, his attention still on the tree.
