To be nice, this league supports all kinds of gameplay, so you may sign up regardless of your affiliation to items, stages, characters, and different techniques. You'll have the option of choosing matches against people with similar match preferences, and you'll state your favorites when you join. So, here's the information you should be posting when you join,

Finding matches: You can post in the thread or read the posted profiles and contact specific opponents through PM, or you can accept challengers. If you're itching for a match, post and say so, just don't do it a lot and flood the topic, I'll be irritated. Though, for now, I don't expect that to be a problem.

PROFILES:-Name: Sheth
-Approximate Experience: I played '64 in limited amounts. I've had Melee since it came out in the US, but wasn't ever very into it for multiplayer and such until a few years ago. I'm not great in that my play style is super un-counterable, or exploit-heavy, but I'd like to think for casual fighting, I'm pretty good.
-Item preference: I'm sort of an all-or nothing guy. For spawn rate, I want I'm flexible all around, particularly for four-person. For 1v1, lower amounts are better. I like all items to be available, but don't care if a few are absent for whatever reason.
-Stage preference: I like, just about every kind of stage. Smaller-medium is a bit better for 1v1, but I'm flexible. I'll like to try out custom stages, and you can fight me on a few of mine, as well. We'll talk over the ideas if you want to try something different. Random stages are good for me as well.
-Character preference: I'm good with Marth but nearly never use him anymore. I like the ice climbers a lot, and am fairly good with Luigi and Peach. I'll be trying out Wolf and Lucario for brawl, and likely Pit. I'm also likely to do random characters, be it decided ahead of time or merely spontaneous.

-Stages: Hyrule Temple, Final Destination, Corneria, New Pork City, any large-large-ish stage is good. Anything with an interesting deal of traps like the Metroid stages are cool too. I encourage Custom Stages too, since I love seeing other people's ideas and such. No particular stage that I don't like

-Approximate Experience: Haven't play any Smash game for a while, but I can get back to shape real quickly. I have play the first and second game, play them more than any other games I have ever play before. While I am not good at teching and fancy stuff like that, I will say I have a vast experiences with fighting 3 level-nine opponents (depending on my mindset, sometime do very good against them).
-Item preference: Flexible with the item selection and range, but I like to fav the bat, star, and hammer a lot. I don't mind having no item at all, if it comes down to it. My least favorite item would be the weak food item.
-Stage preference: I like to prefer either the challenging level like the Metroid levels or the flat level like the Battleground, just because I am a very intense fighter and love to fight without worrying about other stuff. However, I'm flexible with the other levels as well, so randomizing the levels isn't going to offend me! I'll love to see anyone custom stages and will try anyone that offer.
-Character preference: I'm not sure how Brawl will play, so I'll be flexible right now. The character I am aiming to master at least is Sonic the Hedgehog. Normally I would pick Kirby in the old games like mad, but I'm not sure I would with Brawl, with it having a different physic to it.
