Title: Stories Eternal
Description: Still reviving it
Kozmic Kat - February 1, 2008 01:17 AM (GMT)
Oh hay I made one of these.
So there has to be a story, correct? Well of course, here it goes:
At the times of when Katsu and his gang came back down into earth's atmosphere, a sudden light shot across the sky, a meteor. The meteor landed close to Katsu's base, and as his group came to check out what it was. After investigation of the meteor, they found in the crater surrounding it, to be a girl inside of the meteor itself. She was a small child in human standards, about 3'9" in height. She was asleep, even after that crash into earth, rolled up into a ball inside of the rock from outer space. They took her inside, and after days of studying and testing, she awoke.
She had been in a self induced coma, and that her people flew around in meteor's to find new worlds, and it was each of their duty's to find a new world and tell the council back at their homeland. She had found earth, and could now go back home after 200 years of traveling and being in a coma. She waved goodbye, and was gone before the group could say anything else. She teleported away, and all she left was some dust from the energy in her teleportation.
The group put the dust in a jar, and put it in their vault for safe keeping. Nothing else went on for two more years, they went on adventures, played games, anything a couple teenagers with powers would do. A few days close to the two year anniversary of meeting the girl who rode in on a meteor, the dust glowed, and on inspection of the vault, it fell to the ground without any force being applied on it. The dust was sent into the air, and set loose amongst the room. Celab was in the room inspecting at the time, and accidentally inhaled some dust. Screaming as if his body had been torn apart, he dissapeared in a flash of white light. Katsu had gone into the room soon after, hearing the yelling, only to accidentally take in the last bit of dust, disappearing into a flash of light as well.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Apparently, the girl had been bad for earth after all.
A few years passed, Celab and Katsu were still missing. The aliens came back, and decided to take over earth. Starting a large scale war for the fight for humanity. The humans lost, and the aliens kept a select few, about 100, as a "keepsake trophy," After 20 years of slavery and mockery to the aliens, the humans figured out how to use certain powers from watching the aliens for a long time. 1 brain wouldn't have been capable, but the humans stuck together through those years, and figured out, united. They ended up killing enough aliens for them to be let free, on an agreement that the humans would not take over fully, but let them live.
The humans were alloud to go back to earth, which had become a wasteland from the alien conquest over it. Humans mass produced again, and 30 years later, (50 in total,) we now find the starting point in our story.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Present day
A prophecy had been told, from the ancient alien textures, that they would be taken to great lengths to get revenge for a "disgrace they did not expect." Ancient soothsayers foretold the alien race getting back at the other race, by Armageddon. It was time for them to make that prophecy real.
And here lies the first page of our book.
Celab feire - February 1, 2008 01:33 AM (GMT)
Name- Celab Feire
Age- 22
Sex- Male
Race: Arch-angel (A servant of the gods, living with mortals, he has some of his powers, but many are restricted. Is unable to banish himself, and is unable to harm a god, and must follow any orders given by a god, which, in turn, is the only way he can harm another god. He has limited magic capabilities while on a mortal realm, but in another realm, or near a god, his powers become less restricted, giving him more power. Has great understanding of magic, and can use holy and fire based magic, and, like all arch-angels, he has two giant wings, allowing him to fly, and are strong enough to fly at speeds of up to 120 MPH, which requires more energy to sustain that speed. Speed is cut down while carrying something heavy, such as a passenger. Is given enhanced strength, and speed, allowing him and other Arch-angels to be more effective in battle.)
Appearence: short brown hair, dark green eyes, and a caring, but brave face. six foot two inches, he weighs around 230 pounds, muscle and denser-than-normal bones adding to his weight. he wears a plain white undershirt, with a blue-tinted distressed leather jacket, with black finger-less gloves. he wears dark blue jeans, with a military-style belt, and black combat boots, sometimes swapping pants for baggier camoflauge BDU-style pants. He also has a large pair of white, feathery wings, which are hidden by what little magic he still has, allowing him to pass as a human, aside from the white aura that he emits when near an artifact of a god.
Weaponry: none
Powers: Minor healing powers, minor illusion powers, some holy and fire based magic. Can fly with wings, when they are out.
History: Old friend of Katsu, and fought alongside him in many battles.
0ctane - February 1, 2008 01:56 AM (GMT)
Name: Kesh T'llah
Age: 57
Sex: Male
---
Race: Wanderer
The Wanderers were once a nomadic tribes of Gargoyle-esque beings, creatures who lived in night and controlled winged beasts with only a word of their Old Tongue, Baelish. These dark creatures were feared by many, their strange ways making them different, and so they flew to the north. They formed into Twelve Nomadic Tribes that hunted and lived apart from each other, only meeting during the winter season, to depend on each other's warmth and skill.
The Wanderers are born through a shadow ritual, sacrificing the female to produce a child in her place, but rarely more than one. This is one of the reasons why Wanderers have diminished overtime, another is the Black Scourge, a disease caught by simply touching another Wanderer with the illness. The disease was originally contracted by Orr'n Daer'nesh, also known as "Bringer of Harm". The disease was fatal, and a cure has yet to be found.
Wanderers are Shadows with substance- they an be killed like a normal man, but are much faster, more agile, and four times as stealthy. Wanderers rise from their mother's ashes after her sacrifice, only a foot tall and all too wobbly. The only difference between male and female Wanderers is that males live to fight and hunt, while females live to give birth.
Wanderers grow their mind's eye at an approximation of twelve years, which lets them see far beyond the physical barriers of this worl, through the shadows of the objects around him.
Appearance: Like all Wanderers, Kesh is a black humanoid shape with two white eyes, but he differs from his brethren because of his blue "Wizard's" hat that he wears on his head, an old, torn and weathered thing that has stitches all around it. He is six feet tall and cold to the touch. Kesh does not way any more than forty pounds, despite his large appearance. Like al Wanderers,
---
Weaponry: Kesh wields no weapon but his Familiar and his Shadows.
Powers: Kesh T'llah is a "M'thor," or Master of Shadows. He can control any shadow in sight of his physical or mind's eye, in deadly or helpfull ways. he can smother you in the shadows, shroud you in darkness, and even form weapons from nothing but darkness; weapons that cut through everything but [pure] light, and leave no blood behind. Kesh can only summon his familiar from shadows, which leads me to his other skill, Beastmastery.
Beastmastery is the art of creating, maintaining, and controlling a familiar. Kesh's Familiar is a giant bat named Balrur T'llah. The creature can fight and carry near one hundred pounds on its back and stay afloat, but no more. Balrur is only summoned from Shadows, and is only dismissed when unable to move. Balrur only dies when Kesh does, and is otherwise dismissed, easily resummoned from just another shadow.
History: Kesh was raised in the Days of Death by his Clan's master Bror T'llah. who taught him to master the shadows and wreathe his body in their splendorous dark. When his master died of the Black Scourge, he summoned Balrur and made for the south where he would find mercenary work and possibly an antidote, to save his people. Sadly, he can't speak Common. He's gone to scholars, medicine men, shaman, anyone who may be able to cure, but could either not speak to them, was run out of town, or had no results. Kesh is still looking for work, and still looking for an antidote to the Scourge of the North, the last of his clansmen dying as they sleep. He hopes as soon as he can to find a man to go North with him and heal his people, or someone to give him a potion to try on the dying Wanderers, but the future is getting darker, and his task harder.

0ctane, about your submission, I only have two problems. One, if you could give me a bigger description on them, and on their powers that would be excellent. Also, with this race, I would say you need a specific reason for being on earth, and you didn't really give one.
0ctane - February 1, 2008 03:58 AM (GMT)
Yay, it's done, and monstrously long now!
And was that third sentence to me?
Kozmic Kat - February 1, 2008 04:04 AM (GMT)
Ok, your accepted. Just be noted that your shadow killing might not always work. Also, I know your trying to find an antidote, but please go into more detail as to what you do and how you are trying to find it. Believe me, it matters to the story.

(I was sorely tempted to use a Satyr, but I decided to use something more orriginal, and perhaps more fitting.)
Name: Eru Su-Avia
Age: 27
Gender: Male
Race: Kiaru
Kiaru are an odd race, they are qualified as an Ancient Race, or one older than the dawn of sapiens (The first non-primitive sapiens were the fae and elves BTW, then the dwarves, then the humans, so they're older than elves.), though they are much unlike all of the other Ancient races in their societies and general personalities. The Kiaru, unlike the other ancient races, are a group of Nomads, who travel the world not looking for food, which they have little trouble finding. But new experiences; anything new excites the Kiaru, even things such as pain and war, and it was once believe that they consumed experiences rather than food, as they were rarely seen eating.
Unlike the other Ancient Races, the Kiaru neither have an inflated sence of self-esteem nor a hatred for sapiens. This is in part because they benefited from the sapiens, they were not valued to hunt and had no land to be kicked off of, and learned all sorts of new things from them. That being said, the Kiaru are almost as feared as all of the other Ancient races, due to their rather odd tendencies. Kiarus are often seen as unstable due to their reaction to new experiences, which is to ‘Laugh’ incessantly in a high-pitched tone. In battle, they’re particularly feared, as they’re viewed as cold-hearted killers do to their incessant ‘laughing’ while they’re fighting and killing.
It’s interesting to note that the Kiaru don’t take sides because they support one view more strongly than the next, which they rarely do, they simply join whatever side asks them first, or what side will provide the most new experiences.
Appearance: The Kiaru are shape shifters, but their basic form is that of a large, pure-white bird, much like an 8-foot dove. However, their eyes are a shade of sky-blue as opposed to brown/black, and some of the feathers on their wings are much longer than the others. (So they’ve got several large feathers much farther out than all the other feathers)
Powers: Shape-shifting, Eternal Memory (They don’t ever forget things. For this reason, Kiaru are also very smart.), Mind-Reading (Including dreams. Also, they can’t influence anything, just watch/read.)
Wepaons: None
History: Eru doesn’t really have a history that much different than the typical Kiaru, he travels the world searching for experiences. The only difference is that his clan/tribe tends to travel individually.
(Cool eh? I decided to make him an Elder race which isn't almost dead/ hatefull against humans/ any other cliche')

Yeah dude, totally. And OH MY GOD FINALLY A HUMAN~ You're in.
CaffeineCrazed - February 7, 2008 12:16 AM (GMT)
Name: Kayfisor (Kay) Cenorall
Age: 18
Sex: Male
Race: Kesanole - A race of simple aliens that one day found black crystals in the ground on their planet while trying to find water. Through tests they eventually learned that by using their own powers they could change these crystals into weapons or even energy. For a while the planet was a utopia, but the thirst for power became so great that the different tribes of Kesanoles eventually began a war. The power of the crystals eventually corrupted the Kesanoles and in turn, the planet. Kayfisor used the power of one of two crystals he stole to teleport himself off the planet before it became completely corrupted.
Appearance: He stands at 6'9" and has pure white hair. His eyes are a strange purple shade. His skin is a dark gray. The rest of his body is exactly like a human’s. He wears black pants and a dark purple, long-sleeved shirt.
Weaponry: A black crystal that Kayfisor can change into four different bladed weapon.
Powers: Aeromancy
History: Kayfisor was orphaned at birth. When he was 12 he ran away from the orphanage that he lived in. He was a theif by the age of 13. When he turned 17 he stole two of the black crystals. A week before he was going to turn 18 the planet was almost completely corrupt, so he decided to test the limit of the crystals he stole. He used his powers to teleport himself off the planet, not even knowing where he would end up. He ended up landing on Earth, but when he got there the crystal he used disintegrated into dust while the other, luckily, survived. He now wanders across the planet hoping to learn where he is, and what has happened to his planet.

Sukeruton - February 15, 2008 09:42 PM (GMT)
Name- Sukera
Age- 19
Sex- Male
Race: HUman
Appearence: Short Black Hair, Caucasian, red tunic woth grey long sleeves that are so long you can not see his hands unless he pulled the sleeve down. Big Blue Japanese pants and sandals.
Weaponry: His Bones
Powers: the ability to manipulate his own skeletal structure. He has free control over the cells responsible for bone growth and replacement, allowing him to manipulate his bones at will. He can protrude his bones out through his skin with any injuries that would be received during this process healing instantly, change his bone density, and could even completely regenerate a lost bone.
History: Around the age of three, he broke a bone falling down stairs, did not cry at all, and on his way to the hospital the bone had completly healed. His parents sent him in for numerous tests to see what had caused this miraculous event. The doctors found no abnormalities except for one. A link from his brain to the rest of his body had been there. Now, the body all ready had connections to the rest of the human body but this one was different. it had seemed the cells of his body had been responding to Sukera's thoughts. The doctor's had concluded him to have full control over the skeletal structure of his bones. His mother was happy for her child. She loved that he had this gift. His father did not feel the same way. When Sukera had turned ten, his father tried to kill him. He had no choice but to kill his father by protuding a bone out of his palm and stabbing him in the chest with it. This experience saddened him but he has gotten over it, for the most part. Now out on his own, he still has to deal with those who think his power is an abomination of mankind.
