Okay, so I've been having some . . . problems, we'll say. These problems focus on the fact that my particular computer of choice is rather old. Starting back in November, my old Hard Drive took a massive nose dive into oblivion. It being as old as it was, I shrugged it off and bought a new drive and OS. I stuck with XP Home, cause I'm not fucking with Vista yet.

Everything works out just fine until just before the New Year. Computer craps out on me all together. Since then I've been taking it in to Best Buy and getting the Geek Squad to look at it. For the one part, that is where I bought the new drive and OS. Secondly, cause my Unit's barracks geek finished his contract and went on home. I had to see about getting it fixed.

Long story short, it has crapped out on me yet again and they are taking a last look at it before I just up and trash it. I'll be borrowing my friend's laptop, cause Steph has mine, until I can get the desktop working again. I may not be online quite as much as before, but you'll never know, no will you?

I'm having sort of the same deal you're having with the computer. Mine is slow as hell and I can barely run a photo editer on it. it sucks, nuts. So I feel for you in that sense.

Oh, if you even need help destroying it, drop me an IM, I've got plenty of explosives to do more than vaporize it.

I wish I could do the same with my comp, sometimes. (But it's not really the computer itself, it's my crappy internet connection. @_@ )

I think you should just trash it, since it's screwed up on you more than once. XP

Got my Kumo back, now to see how long it lasts this time. Test came back saying that my backup HDD was failing, so I got a new one. As for my current HDD, it was probably over heating, so I got some more fans for my box, hopefully that does the trick.
