Title: Gundam: Malebolge
Description: Restarting my Gundam Series
Delta - December 6, 2007 10:27 PM (GMT)
The title is a work in progress. It sucks, I know. Anyways, I foudn myself bored, and wanting to do a second comic along with The Twilight. Then I started watching Gundam Wing again. Idea pops up into May Fan's head.
Gundams
Since I like the Gundam Series as well, I decided on restarting my old Gundam comic series I did a while ago. I'm still working on a plot synapsis, so this may take a while. But anyways, here's what's needed.
Plot: The year is After Fallout 25. The years after the disastrous bio-nuclear attacks on the space colonies are riddled with civil war. The colonies wage war against one another, showing no apparent victor. Amidst the chaos, the Purgatorus; a militant organization sworn to keep the peace steps in to stop the conflict.
The fighting does cease, though tensions are still bitter. Only years later, does violence erupt once more. A right wing party forms a coup’ de grace, extinguishing the previous Purgatorus administration, and seizing the seat of power.
Basing their main headquarters on Earth, the new Purgatorus now has a new objective: To seize control of the space colonies.
Using highly advanced machines called Mobile Suits, their goal is nearly achieved. The years of civil war between the colonies had left them all weak and struggling. It all seemed hopeless.
Now, 9 colonies stand in the way of the Purgatorus. During the course of the civil war, these 9 colonies built highly sophisticated Mobile Suits called Gundams. These Gundams and their pilots will become the symbols of the colonies’ struggle for freedom.
Gundam Pilots:
Unit 00: (Reserved)
Unit 01: BAZ
Unit 02: Kaliback
Unit 03: Janus
Unit 04: Valley
Unit 05: Joel
Unit 06:
Unit 07: Lunar
Unit 08: (Reserved)
Unit 09: Bolts
The Purgatorus:
Generals:
1. Mike
2.
3.
4.
Captains:
1.
2.
3.
4.
Colonels:
1.
2.
3.
4.
Lieutenants:
1.
2.
3.
4.
Representatives(Politicians)
1.
2.
3.
4.
5.
Most of these parts were a rush of the mind, so I might get into more detail later on.
As for the Mobile Suits and whatnot, I'll see what I can do; I'm going to try and be as original as possible here.
Rules:
1. No Sonic Fancharacters. They don't belong in Gundam.
2. Your human/Anthromorph/Humanoid/Android must be decent looking. That is, must be nicely sprited.
3. Profide any kind of biography or data you want, I may use them.
4. Use grammar.
5. Styles allowed are: MMZ, MMZX, MMX, Custom, JSS
6. If you wanna help with some Gundam designs, submit any decent ones to me.
Please sign up. I need something to immerse myself in other than just Pokmons

Eh why not I used to like those series anyway.
If its alright with you I'd like to sign up as one of the pilots Delta.

A little weird maybe but its the only one I have of me standing without my scythe right now because I'm to lazy to edit them.

I call a spot for general.
:>
Lunar - December 8, 2007 07:01 AM (GMT)
I wanna be a pilot Pweez?
i'll have to make some sprites for thestyle you suggest though.

So wait....are all the gundam spots reserved or just the one? Curious because mike seems to be the only one with a defined role so far.
Delta - December 8, 2007 08:55 PM (GMT)
I need more sprites from you than just one, you know. And just that one is reserved so far. You haven't told me which Unit you'll be in. And I need your whole sheet.
Bolts - December 9, 2007 06:01 AM (GMT)
Ah crap....alright it'll take me awhile to make the rest of the frames. Good news is all I have left are a few running frames and the jump part and that should be enough for this comic since I doubt the humans will have an superhuman powers correct?
Also I'm rather partial to number 5 so if its alright with you pilot number 005 would be preferable.
Delta - December 9, 2007 06:55 AM (GMT)
No superpowers is correct. And alrighty.
-Needs more people-
Lunar, you may wanna specify what Unit number you'll be.

Question do I really need running sprites or will just walking ones be fine.
Reason it takes about 20 mins for me to make one running sprite due to recoloring issues and I already have the walking ones made. And for jumping I already have one sprite for that as well.

YOU have the walking ones made? *dark glare*
Bolts - December 9, 2007 07:42 AM (GMT)
*Ahem*
I have the ones that Cador so graciously made for me.
Delta - December 9, 2007 07:54 PM (GMT)
Walking and running are essential. So is jumping, kicking, punching, piloting, etc
Kaliback - December 9, 2007 11:09 PM (GMT)
Dibs on Gundam Unit02! Required sprites should be in my sig.
Delta - December 9, 2007 11:34 PM (GMT)
Roger that.
-Still need more-
janusx85 - December 10, 2007 03:18 AM (GMT)
Hmm... Count me in. Dibs on unit #3. I'll sprite up a Gundam pilot ASAP.
Delta - December 12, 2007 08:22 PM (GMT)
Bolts - December 12, 2007 10:48 PM (GMT)

Note: Its a highly unfinished sheet but if that means he appears on screen less and is rarely seen out of the suit I can live with that.
Thanks to Dr. Zeus for the jumping sprites, Cador for the walking ones, and Lunar for the fist one.
Lunar - December 13, 2007 02:47 AM (GMT)
I'd dig either unit 4 or 7.
BAZ - December 14, 2007 08:30 AM (GMT)
*scribles his name on the unit 1 posistion*
Delta - December 16, 2007 05:40 AM (GMT)
Bolts, I'm going to have to move you to a different position, if you don't mind.
Personal matter, and whatnot.
Note: These positions may or may not be final. I'll decide if the sprites are good enough or not. So if you're not chosen for the spot you asked for, I apologize.
Bolts - December 16, 2007 06:18 AM (GMT)
WAAAAAAAh! ='[ no unit 5 for Bolts?
-Eh just kidding I'm just glad I still get to be a pilot. What exactly are you planning for the gundam sprites by the way Delta?
