The hall was abuzz with chatter. Even hundreds could be standing or seated in the huge cathedral-shaped building. The window panes depicted heroic deeds like swordsman slaying great beasts, or a large nation in the bath of the warm sun.
Suddenly, at the front, where the raised platform stood, a door banged open, and a person shuffled in. He was wearing rags, which were a dirty grey hoodie that covered his face, blue jeans that covered white-gold shoes, and a messenger bag along his right shoulder and left waist.
"Gentlemen. Ladies." he spoke in a voice that rang through the building's massive lobby. "I welcome you the chance to join fellows. I want you to use your gifts together."
The buzz had ended when the wooden door had banged open, and the group were staring fixedly at the man. The ragged person extended both arms, which had been in his pockets, as if to embrace the air.
"Welcome to the Society." he said, his flaming hand illuminating the room.

The Society is the group of super-natural people gathered from around the world. Most people left with nothing to say- some joined, hoping to hone on their powers- some defected, wanting to use their powers for personal gain.

PLOT: Society men vs. Defects
BACKSTORY: Thousands of years ago, a meteorite sped towards Earth. A group of 'gods' made their way to said asteroid, and met the Interlines, a race banished by their Gods for their sins. They were seeking their Promise Land, a place left by one of their Gods, where they would find salvation. The Interlines turned the rock away from the earth.

Elatire was found when each of the 'gifted' people were transported to a snowy place. They learned their powers, and awoken where they were on earth with these powers. (Explained in first post)
One man, Will Greenwood, who manipulated fire, put together a place to meet with others like him and his friends. Thus was the Society.
