The dark rain started to fall on Militus, as a smoking crater lay into the ground of a village. Inside was a woman that lay in the center, her face looking up at the sky as if she was reaching back to it. A scythe was close to the woman's hand as she lay there knocked out, almost abandoned.

Just then a buggy and horse passed on the road not to far from the crater. The buggy stopped as a man walked out with a very worried look on his face. He had a very fine black suit, black shoes, a black cape, a top hat, and a monocle on his face. The man rushed to the crater and saw the woman there laying on the ground motionless. The man yelled in shock and yelled to the driver of the buggy, "Darion! I need your help, now!"

A few days later the sun lit through an open window of an upstairs villa. The window was inside a very lavish bedroom where the woman lay in a white nightgown. She started to moan and turn as she slowly awoke from her slumber. The woman looked around the room and panicked, she then rose up from her bed and saw what she was wearing and yelled, "What in the bluest of all hells!?" Just then a door opened as the man from the buggy came in. The woman looked at the man who had long flowing blond hair and black eyes. He grinned at the woman and said, "Good morning." Without thought or reason, the woman grabbed the man by the collar and raised him up yelling, "My clothes!? Where are they!?" The man gulped and replied out of fear, "Your clothes were dirty and ripped, so my hand Darion patched them up and washed them. Also your scythe is safe within my house." The woman glared at the man and said, "What do you want with me!?" The man waved his hands and said, "No, No, I want nothing, I saw you were hurt in a crater and decided to help you." The woman dropped the man and looked at him with confusion asking, "Crater?"

The man sighed and replied, "Yes, apparently, it seems that you fell from the sky, or appeared to have." The woman looked down and thought, "The...sky?" The man blinked and asked, "What is your name?" The woman looked at the man and replied, "Stacy..." The man grinned and said, "An honor to meet you Stacy...I am Lord Kaizer, the caretaker of Niriam." Kaizer then walked to the door and said, "Perhaps, you should look around the town and get any information for yourself about this place..." Kaizer then left leaving Stacy alone in the room. A little while later, a knock on the door was heard and a man walked into the room with Stacy's clothes and her scythe on hand. The man was tall and had white fur all over his body, red eyes, and wore a tuxedo that barely fit him and white gloves with a rip. Stacy blinked and said, "I take it you're Darion?" Darion raised his brow at her then lay the clothes on the bed and the scythe close to the door. Darion then nodded and left the room. Stacy sighed and said, "Not much of a talker huh?" Stacy then began to change into her normal clothes and took her scythe. She then looked at the window and jumped out landing into the streets of the town. Stacy looked around and suddenly Kaizer's voice echoed, "Perhaps, you should use the door next time?" Stacy sighed and said, "So you coming with me, or are you just gonna run your mouth?" Kazier then began walking down the street behind Stacy and said, "Please...follow me, there is much to discuss."

(*sighs* TOO MUCH TEXT! :<)

At the edge of a town a lone figure stood and watched the events unfold and as soon as Stacy started to leave he started to follow them.

Hyro was casually walking down the street when he stumbled upon the giant crater that Stacy had made the previous night. The crater itself was surrounded by people, as was to be expected fromt his sort of thing, but that didn't stop Hyro from venturing down inside it.

Man: "Whats that crazy Laelap doing down there?"

Woman: "Eh leave him alone he probably can't even speak English..."

Hyro: "Actually I speak English, Spanish, and wolf so $%&@ you...."

Man & Woman: O_o

While trying to catch up to Stacy he hears Hyro's comment and laughs to himself, while remembering to try and find out more about him.

Stacy began to walk through the cities with Kaizer seeing the town with a confused look. Kaizer then said, "Apparently you think you are somewhere else...someplace where the dimensional threads are still in tact, correct?" Stacy blinked and asked, "Dimensional threads?" Kaizer grinned and replied, "Just as I expected." Stacy and Kaizer then appeared in front of a large building structure, which was different from the others. This structure was a large technological building with a electronic sign. Stacy blinked at the building and asked, "What the fu-" Kazier then began walking towards the building and said, "Come now Stacy, here is where you will learn all you need to know."

When he saw them go into the building he decided to go to a bar next door and waits for them to be done.

After a short while of trading insults Hyro found himself surrounded by a mob of rather pissed off and burly men.

Mob: "What was that you said to our wives boy?"

Hyro: "Hmm something along the lines of....I'd do her, do her, do her, wouldn't do her, God who hasn't done her, do her, lose the pig tales and we'll talk..." As Hyro was saying this he was pointing to random women in the crowd and as so was soon swarmed.

((Yay Family guy references!!!))

Cador just looked at the mob for a moment, before chuckling slightly at the man's idiocy and walked on.

A loud yet somewhat muffled explosion is heard as several men are sent flying, one of which lands right infront of Cador.

Man: "He's insane!!! Get out of here!!"

*The mob vanishes*

Hyro meanwhile was brushing the dirt from his shoulders and casually walking out of the crater and right into the nearest bar.

"Heh. He might make for a good fight..." Cador said as he followed Hyro.

Upon entering the bar one would find Hyro already apparently half drunk with several empty bottles of JD sitting next to him as the bartender slid him another one. By this point he had again ammassed a small mob however this one seemed to be contrived mostly of drunk college guys yelling a mixture of 'chug chug chug' and the ever popular 'toga! toga! toga!'

The figure comes over to Hyro and ask, "Hey, what happened earliar, why were all those people mad at you?" Knowing Hyro was drunk he knew he could probably get some answers from him.

A look of almost instant soberness passed over Hyro as he looked up at the odd man who was bold enough to ask a Laelap questions while he was drinking. Either way the man seemed if not trust worthy then somone he though he had a good chance of 'shutting up' later.

"Well.....as it turns out people don't seem to like it when you tell them to shut the $#%@ up and then say you would or would not do their wife...." He replied taking another sip from his drink.

"If you don't mind my asking, before I reveal anything else about myself, who might you be?"

The figure gets a shot of strong liquor and says,"I'm the one they call Koros the Fallen, but I trust you because, just like me, you don't fit in with the natural society so you can just call me Koros (Pronounced Core-ose), and I know there must be more of a reason then just you saying you would do their wife."

"I think that might have been the part where I said I wouldn't do their wife.....personally I don't know which is the bigger insult..." Hyro said with a light chuckle.

"Nice to meet you though Koros, name's Hyro (Hero) but most people just call me that mutt with a big mouth...."

"Nice to meet you too. I have one more quetion, do you know what happened this morning I haven't been around here very long." Koros said in a serious voice.

"Well....from what I picked up among the whispers was something about a girl with a scythe but I'm sure it was nothing more than silly rumors. I mean c'mon it would take.....you know what no, I don't know any mortal being that could survive that fall...." Hyro almost laughed at the notion at the very idea of somone falling from the sky.

((Wheres Cador I think I just invoked Murphy's law....))

"Who said she was mortal?"

*blinks* "Do what now?...." Hyro asked with a somewhat O_o look on his face.

"Don't tell me you believe this nonsense...."

"Yes, in fact I do believe in this nonsense!"

Suddenly, Cador smashed through the ceiling of the building in a "Dynamic entry!" pose, aimed right at Hyro.

Koros brought up his hand to block Cador while waiting for Hyro to answer.

".....no sense working yourself into a fuss about it pal...." Hyro muttered as he set his drink on the bar and slowly exited the room with a somewhat awkward glance at Cador. Upon exiting he looked up at the sky, over to the crater, and back up to the sky.

"....how...." He muttered shaking his head before plopping down on the porch surrounding the bar.

Koros drank his liquor then quickly jumped out of the hole Cador made.

Changing his direction, Cador grinned at Koros. "Well, I wanted to fight him, but you'll do." Cador said while charging at Koros, with a large Icicle aimed from the opposite direction.

"Whatever." Koros says in a bored tone. He then grabs a silver bow from his back, grabs an arrow, and puts it on the string, the arrow then starts glowing a bright white and then it soars, the glow becoming another arrow tip.

Inside the building was almost a futuristic library, with robots whizzing by in every direction above. Stacy looked at this in almost awe of the entire structure. Kaizer then stood in the middle of the room and said, "Basement, Holo-room." The ground beneath Stacy and Kaizer began to shift and separate as both of them started to slowly go down a shaft in the building. Stacy looked at Kazier and said, "The hell is going on? First I'm in some kind of renaissance city the next it's the Jetsons!?" Kaizer remained quiet as the elevator stopped and the ceiling above them closed. The room then became a giant universe with the two standing in the middle.

Kaizer then explained, "I believe that you are from a dimension that has not been fused by the great chaos" Stacy stood there and in confusion as Kaizer then looked through the space and said, "You see, 50 years ago, the dimensions began to fuse and collide taking whole plants and forming one huge planet where all manners of species and time threads live in." Stacy blinked and asked, "Time threads?" Kaizer nodded and replied, "Yes, you see it was the job of the gods to keep the realms in check, however something happened and well, all our worlds became diluted. But for some reason your dimension is still intact. Meaning..." Stacy shook her head and said, "Wait, you mean to tell me I'm in another dimension where everything is screwed up!?" Kaizer blinked and said, "That is correct." Stacy blinked then looked up saying, "Hey elevator...ground floor." The elevator responded and brought Kazier and Stacy up to the ground floor. Stacy then turned toward the door and said, "Just because you saved my ass...doesn't mean you can feed me bullshit. You don't want to give me answers fine..." Stacy then opened the door and added, "I'll find them myself." With that Stacy slammed the door closed leaving Kaizer then with a worried look on his face.

Stacy looked around and saw a bar nearby. Stacy grinned and said, "Finally something I actually like!" Stacy B-lined straight for the bar and entered it casually. She went right to the bar and said, "Hey barkeep, gimme the strongest amount alcohol you have in this place." The barkeep nodded and slid a black liquid to Stacy. Stacy sniffed the liquid and pushed back almost coming to tears. Stacy grinned and replied, "Perfect!"

After shooting his arrow Koros landed right in front of Stacy, almost knocking over her drink and casually said, "Hey, weren't you the girl who was in the crater?" He then jumped up and shot off a dozen more light enfused arrows at Cador.

Stacy blinked at the man and said, "How did you..." Stacy looked at where he was pointed the arrows at and saw another man. Stacy shook her head and saw that these two were in the middle of some type of battle. Stacy shook her head then grabbed the man by the collar and called her scythe to her hand. Stacy sternly looked at the man and said, "Talk! Who are you and how did you know about that!?"

"I might just be the only one who can get you back to where you came from, now let go, I'm in the middle of a battle." He then changes his bow into a dagger and jumps at Cador.

Stacy blinked and asked, "Get me...back?" Before Stacy could ask him another question, he slipped out of her hands. Stacy looked as he was aiming straight for the other man. Stacy then said, "Guess I don't got a choice, huh?" Stacy then charged after Cador with such force and her scythe tearing up the ground.

Dodging the various arrows, Cador chuckled as Koros charged at him. "Too easy!" Cador shouted as he launched an Antipode (similar to the tech of the same name from Chrono Trigger) at him.

"You have got to be kidding me...." Hyro moaned entering the bar as he observed the scene between Koros and Cador. How this had gotten started he really had no clue and to be honest he didn't care. What concerned him was the fact that this girl looked just like the woman described and carried a scythe.

"God tell me I'm wrong......" He mumbled as he reached the bar ignoring the chaos.

"Hey barkeep if theres anymore JD left.....slide it over here." With that the bartender pulled out his last two bottles and slid them straight into Hyro's hands.

Stacy managed to not get noticed by Cador as she jumped through the air and started to bring her scythe down to his head. Suddenly a voice was heard almost like a crying moan as it said, "Do not...Do not hurt them." Stacy was shocked as she canceled the attack and fell to the ground. Stacy clutched her head and said, "What the hell...was...that?"

Koros sent out a beam of green energy that imploded around the Antipode and then changed his dagger/bow into a blade that then started to glow in a white aura, Koros then took the sword and did a slash vertically and in both diagnol directions with each slash shooting a blast of the aura making a * shape.

Since Cador was still a ways away, it was a simple matter to dodge the asterik shaped blast, countering by morphing his arm into a Dragon's head and breathing fire from it.

Hyro was now standing about 10 feet away from Koros lightly sipping on his bottle of Jack Daniels.

"You mind telling me why your fighting the morphing guy over there?" Hyro asked before noticing Stacy on the floor clutching her head.

"....Have a swig..." He said as he placed the bottle on the ground next to her and casually walked towards the flames Cador was emitting.

Koros then changed his blade back to its original bow form which he then but on his back, the flames bouncing harmlessly off of a barrier that had formed in front of Koros. He then stood up and said,"This fighting is getting us nowhere, we must stop or else the innocent might get hurt, you being one of them." He then held out his hand to show he wanted a truce. While his hand is still out he says to Hyto,"He wanted to fight me, so I fought him."

"Yeah, well, I just felt like sparring with someone anyway." Cador said simply as he extended his Dragon arm, forgetting to morph it back into an actual arm.

Koros then shook Cador's hand, ignoring the pain from the teeth.
