Hey all.

For those of you that have been here for a while, you know that every so often I show up, and fill some art requests for people. Usually, I just go until I get tired, and then I put a cap on it.

So, anyway, credentials aside, here I am again, with a whole new request topic!

But, there are some differences this time around.

First and Foremost, I'll only be doing 10 request. No more. And, that means that I'll only be able to take 8 requests.
Why?
Because TWO of the 10 requests are gonna be very special. I have some very special treatments in mind for those two.

So, here's the deal--
The first 8 people who get their name in the ring, have sufficient reference art, AND cast a vote, will get their request done. This will consist of a black and white pencil sketch of whatever character they want.
Now, you may have noticed that you have to cast a vote. And what that vote is for is for SOMEONE ELSE'S character.
That's right. You vote on the top two spots for the requests.
The two characters with the most votes will get a very special piece of art done, but don't bother asking what's special about it. It's a surprise!

In example, If I wanted a request done, My post would look something like this:
I would like to request my character Wen get drawn.
-reference1- -reference2- -etc...-
And I would like to vote for Betatronic to be one of the two special requests.
-beta reference 1- -beta reference 2- -etc...-

So, before I get too many questions, let me lay out some rules.
1) You can not vote for a character of yours to be in the top two. You have to vote for someone else's.
2) You can vote for any internet-related character to fill the top two positions. Another forumgoer's avatar, a character from a webcomic, a character from a Flash cartoon, whatever.
3) No characters from Anime, Movies, Video Games, or Mangas. I want this to be a bit more personal than that, ya know?
4) If you think the original artist might be offended that someone else is drawing his character, get permission. I don't think the Guys at Penny Arcade would care if someone was doing some fanart of Tycho. But if you suggest another forum member's character, you might wanna let them know what's up. Yeah?
5) Even if you do not get a request done, you can still vote for who will be in the top two. In fact, I'd encourage everyone who reads this topic to cast a vote, whether or not they want a request. If we only get 8 votes, that'll be pretty lame, ya know?
6) If you want to campaign for SOMEONE ELSE'S character to get votes, feel free, but DO NOT try to get other people to vote for your character.

Meh, i'll bite.

I guess i'll opt for Linda this time around, if thats not a problem, and the pose would either be her mircaulous shot pose, where she's hanging upside down from some cables, holding a sniper rifle with one hand. That, or just sitting hunched over the rifle. I know from previous request that you're not hot on guns, so feel free to cut as much off of the actual weapon as you want. Either one will be without armor, but being female, she wouldn't have as much scruff around the muzzle as you tend to put on.

Yay, I was hoping you would open up something like this again.

Anyways, I request a drawing of Wise. The pose...hm...having him standing with his legs spread slightly, holding his sword as it's drawn about half-way from its sheath.

Only his sprite sheet, I'm afraid...

I'd like to be drawn! I guess I'd like...to be standing Dramatically, on a cliff...maybe looking at a burning city or something like that, so it doesn't look like I'm posing for the lulz.

I remember way back when that you did that fanart for my All Star Heroes idea (Thank you so much, by the way! It was so awesome!), you mentioned that my redone version of Yuber didn't really seem as dark and scary as you would have thought Yuber would be.

So here's my request. I'm not sure how I can make Yuber creepier, so I was wondering if you could take my pic of Yuber and give him a little revamp of your own to portray how you would make him creepier.

I really hate to sound like I'm being pushy. I'm just wondering how you would make him creepier.

Sorry Wise, but you only can make the list once, so you get one of the special ones.
Also, everyone else's votes DO count, it's just that it's a tie between two other characters, each with one vote. So...yeah. Didn't really make sense to pick one over the other.

And, yeah. About Celtic Gaurdian's post, sorry, man. Can't use that one. Can't be one of your own characters, man. Rule number one. *shrug*

I'd like to request my character be drawn. He's supposed to have a cool ninja scarf but it was drawn wrong. If he could be holding a light saber,that would be sweet. I'd like to vote for SSBFreak.

Hey guys!

So much for uploading last night. Major breakthrough on the game I'm working on, so I got a little carried away with programming, and forgot to get around to uploading. Sorry!

But, here's the deal:
I've got all but one of the regular requests done. All I have left is UltimateLegendaryX, because I don't know which outfit to put Lap in. So get back to me on that, and I'll finish up.

Also, since I'm at work right now, I can't upload anything yet, but I WILL get them uploaded tonight. And depending on whether UltimateLegendaryX gets me that info, it should be all of them.

As for the Special Requests, I''m gonna go ahead and name Wise one of the two. But, we've got a problem, in so far as there's a three-way tie between Dehgan, Jim the Fox Magi, and SSBFreak.
They each have one vote.

So, if there's anyone that wants to change thier vote, Or, if there's anyone that hasn't voted *cough*0ctane*cough*, then we can get the final two under way.


Also, there's three more spots still open, if there's any takers, but if no one wants anything done by the time I upload tonight, then I'll just go ahead and close it, so I can work on the special stuff.

You'll notice I didn't muck them up with water marks, or signatures, or anything verifying that I made them. So, as far as I'm concerned, use them as you wish.
Credit is always nice, but not really necessary. I know I drew them. You know I drew them. That's enough for me.

So yeah. Do whatever you want with 'em. Doesn't make much sense to ask for them, if you aren't going to use them some how, right?

Good point. Still I always feel it's courtesy to ask before using someone's hard work for something. I'll give credit where it is needed. Cause yea...feels like I need to or somethin :p
