Sweat dripped off of Lance's forehead as he finished the programming final arena for his tournament. Rewards were the only problem, as he had nothing of the sort. He looked at the paper he designed. It clearly stated "Tournament for those interested. Come to the warehouse marked on the map on the back." The map showed a clear marking of the place, only being three blocks away to the west of City Hall, where the Admins resided. "This shall work well. Hopefully there will be some memorable battles here, and anyone can join! It shall be wonderous! But...what shall the reward be? Money? No, I'd need sponsors. Rare items? No, they've all probably been found by now. ...I have no clue, really. I'll ask the contestants what they think would be a good reward." He placed the sheet in a nearby photocopier, making hundreds of copies. After counting off 1000, he grabbed them all and began walking throughout town, handing the sheets to residents and placing them on their doorsteps, so that everyone could see. Two hours of traveling had paid off, as he gave away the last sheet.
He smiled, and headed back to the destination, which was merely a normal looking warehouse, but was different on the inside. Each section of the warehouse had a different environment for training purposes, but could still be used to spar. There was a chair and a table, with a small blank sheet on it next to the entrance. He sat down, and pulled out a small piece of paper and a pen, quickly jotting down a last thought. The note said "Sign your name on the sheet, and either wait here, or go about your day. If you have questions, wake me up." He leaned back on the chair, and closed his eyes, quickly falling into slumber. The sign-up sheet looked like a tournament roster, showing 32 numbers on it.
(Yes, I'm setting up a small tournament. Here are the rules:
1. As with all RPs, tournaments, etc., no godmodding of any kind, and no auto-hitting.
2. Act in an appropriate manner, and do not pick a fight outside of the arena.
3. Would you kindly not break any of the rules, as it'll make the tournament a mess. And that would result in your character (And all other characters involved in the rule-breaking) being thrown out of the tournament.)
Entrants:

(If more than 16 sign-up, I'll try to shoot for 24 or even 32.
And before you ask, pairings are by numbers. 1 vs 2, 3 vs 4, etc. Bland, I know, but it helps me keep everything organized.
One more thing: You can just post the name for now if you don't have a profile ready. When you're ready, and I call your name for the fight, show me where the profile is if it's not in the Profile thread. If it's in the Profile thread, I'll look it up and you're ready to fight. I'll check back at times to update, and hope to update quickly.)
Let the sign-ups...BEGIN!
EDIT: Okay, two new rules.
1. You MUST be a Competent RPer. Seriously, if you can't spell properly, or you cannot even type a Paragraph per post, you can't join.
2. You do not automatically add yourself to the list. I will add those who ask in the proper way, and have proven themselves as a Competent RPer.
