| The 20th Century Fox studio is expected to shoot three big-budget movies in Montreal over the next year; each has a budget of at least $100 million. The films are the Night at the Museum sequel Another Night, Independence Day director Roland Emmerich's remake of the sci-fi flick Fantastic Voyage and a big-screen adaptation of the Japanese manga Dragonball Z. |

Dragonball Z is adapted from the manga created by Akira Toriyama; the work was also turned into a Japanese anime series that played all over the world. It tells the story of an alien sent to destroy Earth, who has a change of heart and decides to join the humans in their fight against various aliens and bad guys.
There are no details yet as to when these three shoots will begin, but they are expected to wrap production by next July. |
[SOURCE]They seem to go off a bit on Another Night, and Fantastic Voyage, so here's all they say, but like... still kinda amazing.

Heh, I guess in the back of my mind I knew this would happen eventually...
They're doing the same thing with Avatar apparently.

.....................IT'S OVER NINE THOU- *brick'd*
Funny I never though Fox would be dumb enough to try and turn DBZ into Live action flick.

Watch there be an hour long scene of Live Action Goku and The Live Action villain screaming at each other; whilst looking like they're constipated.

I LOL'ed :)
Anyway...WHY can't people just leave stuff alone? It better not turn out like Uwe Boll's flicks. Dead or Alive turned into a movie was just downright horrible.
*sigh*
I guess I'd still watch it out of curiosity though.

Honestly, this movie is long in the making. They've been talking about this for years. I remember back in elementary school I was hyped up about this movie.

Let's face it, if there isn't a killer music score, it's set to fail.
