chobits is not a harem. ALmost every female has her own man, even the persocom females do.

LOve hina is probably the best, taking stereotype chars and making them into something original...well the manga did.

I heard something called Angel Tales is a harem type.

Anyone mind telling me what a Harem is?

It's those animes where there's one guy, and like, every girl in the series loves him and wants to sleep with him, and then romantic comedy ensues. They mostly suck in my opinion.

Anyway, unless you wanna go far out and count things like Ranma, I don't think I have any suggestions. I might be forgetting something though.

Theres also ones where theres one girl and many guys [one of the titles i suggested is one] and there are yuri and yaoi [lesbian and gay] titles [also amongst the suggested in my post]

You sure? If we're thinking like that, then I don't think a whole lot can be counted. But I didn't really consider Ranma to be one anyway.

But yeah. I mostly don't really care for them, but that's just my opinion.

WEll not all of the female cast loved Ranma, from what i remember its. what... 3? but there were guys that liked them, and gals who liked those guys, and some of the guys liked more than one of the girls [same with the girls] not to mentioned that Ranma had girls and guys like him due to his "nature".

Harems are more clear cut most of the time.

Well, I'm into the sort of girlie anime ^^U I'm not much of an action guy, I like Case Closed, though. And Death Note. So, I might watch Haruhi, it looks good, I've seen it's opening on my Stepmania game.

And this topic disappoints me. I thought we'd be talking about a movie about a harem or something, considering most english people know them as a special part of a palace where only women and I believe it's either the king or the king's son is allowed, and anyone else is killed for entering.
