Hmmm...strange. This Lifetime movie sounds really familar. I can't quite put my finger on where I've seen it before.

It seems like an American version of Death Note, but with a much different plot and this Diary can apparently do anything. And it was made by Lifetime.

And I hate Lifetime movies.
