Right here folksHa, the animation doesn't look all that bad. The character models have grown on me and it's starting to look like it's going to be awesome. The toys don't look all that bad, either.

... Am I the only one who was reminded of some of the DC comic cartoons with the animation, though?

It reminds me a bit of "King Arthur and the Knights of Courage", or one of those other early 90s shows. I think the way that everyone's got his own little weapon, that's quite a retro thing to do.

I noticed they started clapping when the Dinobots showed up and when Starscream appeared behind Megatron. If there were a bunch of things I rememebered the fans liked, it was Dinobots and the banters between Starscream and Megatron.
I'm very interested in seeing how this will turn out...if it does better than the japanese versions, I'll be impressed...

But really, it looks pretty good, maybe even on the same level as T.T.

I forget who it is exactly, but a few of the main staff that did TT/B10/the like is on for Transformers Animated.
The different weapons for each character is a good idea, methinks. Instead of just being transforming robots that punch/blast each other, they now have a weapon that sorta represents them. Here's to hoping Megs has his mace.
Oh, Soundwave has a guitar that transforms into Laserbeak 8D

I'm liking the remixed theme-song VERY MUCHY.
The animation is great but the anime-esque speed-lines during the transformation sequences failed to impress me.
And that bike's "tazmanian devil" transformation didn't impress me much either.
Bumblebee's VA is quite annoying so far. Maybe I'll get used to it.
Starscream's on the other hand is PERFECT.
The toys haven't impressed me yet. I guess I'll wait until they come out before I start bashing Hasbro, though.
