The appartment complex was pretty much an architectical miracle. It's shape was irregular, with many extensions on the sides and a penthouse that was a complex in itself. Some floors were actually split up and connected to themselves by bridges.
Certain floors were dedicated to other things than appartments, such as common rooms and even a gym.
Neighbors called it ''the nuthouse'', refferring more to the inhabitants than it's appearance.
This is the Fallout Shelter, also known as TFS.

In a room on the 14th floor a human female was stretched out on a couch, a tv still on.
She opens her eyes and yawns. After a short moment spent staring into oblivion she gets up. She hadn't undressed last night, so she walks to the door without detour and opens it, looking outside to see who else was up.

As the sun rose, a small ray of light shone through a window on the third floor. The light shone onto the eyes of a small, light brown fox. He opened one of his hazel eyes to look toward the window, grumbled and turned himself over, covering his head with the blankets. He had been up for a while the previous night, much later than he had intended. 'I shouldn't have started playing Dead Rising last night.....' He thought to himself. 'Once I start, it's hard to stop playing it....' He yawns and tries to fall back asleep.

On the 8th floor a man laying down near his TV was fast asleep.When his alarm clock struck its time and rang,the man got up and groaned.His name was Ryou,he wasnt very happy with waking up because fore he was a 17 year old guy and he needed hois own sleep."Aghh...what the hell did i do last night..."Ryou said walking to the sink and washing his face.The morning sun flashed his eyes as he clumsily fell down on his back.He rubbed his eyes and prepared for the day.Near the TV were two swords a Broad Sword and A Katana.He looked at it as he passed by to his closet.He grabbed is clothes and hatsedly wore them on.He wore his black jeans first,Then his long trenchcoat with red markings.Then onto his shoes and gloves.He brushed his hands against his red hair a showing the black streaks."Boy...was this going to be another regular day."Ryou thought checking if anyone else was awake.

The early morning sun reflected brillantly against the metallic mask of a tall, well built man, with white hair and red eyes. He stood on the rooftop of the apartment complex, enjoying the warming rays of his planet's star. He had been up for quite some time, for he didn't sleep much last night, but then again, he didn't sleep much at all.

He wondered who else was up, quite suddenly, and turned for the rooftop entrance. "I wonder if anyone is hungry," he wondered out loud. He was a talented chef, and was happy when people enjoyed his food. He opened the door and began to descend the steps, heading for the apartment's kitchen.

Cador yawned as he searched for where the elevator had been moved to on the thirteenth floor, with the book Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows still in hand as the few other people who decided to board on that floor searched for the same thing that he was, and thought, Man, I shouldn't have stayed up reading the book, but I'm half-way done with it now, and I won't stop just for food.


(Yes, I just got it, and yes, I'm that far into reading it.)

meanwhile in the hallway on the top floor a green robotic hedgehog was racing around in a go-kart sized F-zero racer "Yaaaahoooooo. Jane stop this crazy thing, ha ha ha"

Ryou exited his room and continued for a minute if he could spot anyone that was awake.And he did.Ryou groaned and walked on towards the lobby.His stomach growled with hunger for he hadn't eaten anything last night.He ignored it and went on towards the lobby to find something maybe intresting he could do.He hadn't found anything intresting.So he continued on to the gym where he would start training and whatnot for about 30 minutes.Ryou looked as if he was medium build but his strength exceeded that.But,10 minutes later he couldn't ignore the hunger anymore,it had scraped his stomach and it was almost painful."Damit...well on to the kitchen i guess..."Ryou hoped of finding anything he could atleast make,for he wasn't well with food.

"Ugh....forget it...." Jim finally said aloud, opening his eyes. "No use going back to sleep now......" He throws his blanket aside and slowly climbs out of bed. He was about half the size of a normal person, wearing a black mage's robe which was open in the front. He yawns and walks to his door, opening it. He started on his way to the kitchen, needing caffine to wake himself up.

The sun shined brightly on the fields as a man accompanied by his three companions ran through the grass. Their destination slowly came into view, a magnificently build city surrounded by its own small forest of trees. Their pace hastened as they started down the large slope. Faster and faster they ran until reality intervened...

Xa Far found himself face-to-face with the floor next to his bed and his nose feeling quite sore as though he had just landed on it. He pushed himself up, rubbed his nose and looked around. “Why is it the good dreams you have to wake up from?” he asked to no one before proceeding to start his already rudely started day. He quickly assembled his usual wardrobe and headed out the door. Xa Far walked past the elevator onto the stairs as he always does despite being on the floor just below the top. He descended the stairs, skipping every other step until reaching the floor with the kitchen. He didn’t care who was cooking or even if he had to cook his own meal, all he cared for was whether it would taste good and that he gets his fill.

Wise flipped the pancake into the air, and expertly caught it on a plate. He set it down on the counter behind him and returned to his art. He had already set out several plates of bacon, pancakes, french toast, scrambled eggs, crepes, oatmeal, and other various breakfeast decisions.

He glanced back at the tables to notice Ryou and Xa Far entering the kitchen. "Hey Ryou, Xa Far," Wise called to them, "take your pick, I made plenty." He then returned to his work, whistling a low tune.

Finding the elevator after it had moved from last night, Cador shouted to the others on that floor that he found it. Then he proceeded to take the elevator down, along with most of the other people on that floor. "I hope someone who knows how to cook will be today." He said to no one in particular.

Ruseku woke up and looked at his clock.

"Uuuughh... 10 AM already?"

Ruseku got out of bed, and got dressed.

*Yawn* "I hope somebody in this nuthouse knows how to cook."

He grabbed his DS and walked downstairs to the kitchen.

while Craig was racing around a small beeping noise notified him that he was running low on energy "hmm I guess I better go get something to eat. Now how am I going to get to the kitchen today? Do I take the stairs, the elevator, or just crash my racer through the wall again? Of course Its always faster to crash through the wall" he then went to the next hallway to aim at the newly repaired wall, he punches it going as fast as it would go and crashes it through the dry-wall and cement barrier! While flying through the air he yelled "BOW CHICKA BOW WOW" at the top of his speech function. The flight came to a sudden stop when he finally punched a hole in the kitchen wall again when the dust settled he said "THAT WAS AWESOME, LETS GO AGAIN LETS GO AGAIN"

Wise just set down the last plate of bacon when what sounded like a bomb going off erupted from the wall to his left. He leapt several feet straight up, and just in time too, for where he once was, a mini F-Zero racer stuck out of the wall. Sevaral plates of food were shook off the counter, crashing to the ground, the food ruined. Wise landed on the hood of the mini-racer, and his head snapped in the direction of the broken plates. "My...food...MY FOOD!"

His eyes shot to Craig with fire behind them. He made a grab for the little robot-hedgehog thing. "YOU RUINED THE FOOD! I WORKED SO HARD ON IT, AND NOW IT'S RUINED YOU SON OF A B*TCH!"

Ryou raised his hand and caught the plate,fore Ryou dexerity was imense.Ryou sat down near the table and ate his food."Will. you guys shut up...I havent eaten anything for days..."Ryou teased.Ryou finished his share and stood up."Thanks,Wise,if you need me ill be in the gym either slashing my blades or just training."Ryou said as he exited the kitchen,onto his room took the BroadSword and Katana from the stool near his TV and went down to the lobby,where he would go onto the gym.On a arena about 30 feet wide 30 feet long Ryou practiced slashing his blades.Soon after 5 minutes he started lifting.

As Cador left the elevator, he noticed the wreck, as well as Wise about to shove his sword down Craig's throat. "Well, that's one thing you can say is always consistent about this place, is there's never a dull moment." Cador said as he grabbed a plate with food that hadn't fallen to the floor, moved to a different table, and began to eat.

Ruseku looked at Craig fly through the air.

"Meh."

Ruseku grabbed some bacon that was left, put it on his plate, and sat down again. He then shoved his DS into his pocket and proceeded to pull a newspaper out.

"So... Anything new and exciting in your guys lives?"

"umm does being pined to the wall by a sword through my head count as new and or exciting? If it doesn't then no."

"Don't worry about it, I'm pretty sure that by now the robotic repair section has spare parts at the ready for you at all times by now Craig." Cador said, chuckling silently as he ate.

"Hey I'm back..."Ryou said walking out from the hole that Craig had smashed.Ryou thought he take take way...it was like a shortcut Ryou thought going past the group then stopping right behind Ruseku."Someones going to have to pavement it...again...and its not going to be me..."Ryou said as he took off quickly.He got back to his room put his blades back and went back to the guys again.Bringing his PSP.(( Thanks Ruseku you gave me the idea Ryou could have a PSP like how i do :D ))He wasnt playing anything much,it was only a racing game.Ryou sat on a chair his legs crossed but spread out of another chair.

Ruseku yawned and pointed at Craig with his fork.

"You know, he'll let you down if you promise to pave the wall."

Ruseku chuckled and continued reading.

As the plates began to fall, adrenalin surged through Xa Far and the world around him seemed to slow down like in an action movie. Xa leapt towards the falling dishes, his right arm reached out and the word no being bellowed out as he attempted to save the food. However, once again reality intervened and Xa Far fell to the ground a good half a room short of reaching even a strip of bacon. Hurryingly he got back to his feet and ran to where the plates had crashed onto the ground. “No! It should’ve been me!” he over dramatically shouted before the dishes that remained on the counter caught his eye and the lost food was nonexistent to him any longer. “Ooh pancakes!” Xa Far took into hand a good few plates of pancakes, bacon, and French toast and returned to the table where he would eat what seemed enough to feed two or three people.

"Ok I'll fix the wall if he lets me down. SO GET OVER HERE AND LET ME DOWN YOU PSYCHO!!!"

Cador put away the dishes left from his food, then sighed. "I'll go over to the robotic repair section so you can eat, Craig. Now, should I just get a replacement head, or just get the nanobots?" Cador asked.

"Nanobots please. last time I got a replacement head it took me forever to restore my music files."

((just so everyone know, I didn't stab him with my sword, I just grabbed him by the scruff of the neck))

"HYAH!"

Wise yanked Craig out of the racer and chucked him across the room, getting him out of the way of his repairs.

He turned his attention to the racer stuck in the wall. After a moment of examining it, he placed his boot on the hood of the racer and gave a heavy push. The racer backed out of the hole easily, showing that it wasn't badly stuck. He then went to a nearby closet and grabbed a broom, beginning to sweep up the debris.

"Ah, well then nevermind, I happen to carry some with me at all times. In this place, it pays to have at least one contingency plan for injury in this place." Cador said as he pulled out a vial from the back of his right knee, and handed it to Craig.

"Umm, maybe we should get an Alchemist to fix this wall."

Ryou went back to his floor to put his PSP away.Ryou came dashing down with his katana strapped to the side of him and his broadsword strapped on his back."Damit...seems you guys are to lazy and stuff...I'll have to pave it."Ryou said as he stared at Craig with his devilish red eyes.Then he pointed the broadsword at craig...use the doors next time...thats what they were built for!"Ryou teased with a devilishly scary smile."Cador your helping me pave this..."Ryou said yoinking 2 pieces of bacon from Xa Far and a pancake and immediately placing it in his mouth as he backed away.

((well lets just say that when you threw me I hit a sword that was jutting out of the wall))


"Ahhh thank you Cador." Craig slid off the sword then undid the stopper on the top of the vial. He then poured the nanobots onto his head so that they could start repairing his head.

"...Sorry, I just got this late yesterday," Cador said, holding up Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows, "and I still need to finish reading it. So...sorrygottagobye!" Cador said as he jumped in the elevator, hiting for the thirteenth floor.

“HEY!!!” Xa Far shouted as he got up from the table and went to put Ryou in a head lock. “Do you realize just how much I HATE when people take food from MY plate without asking!?” he said quietly at first but steadly growing to a shout.

Ryou flipped towards and threw Xa Far down.His broadsword stabbed to the ground near Xa Far's head and his Katana near his arm."Dont ever do that again...now help me pave the wall."Ryou said removing his blades and backing away.

Meanwhile on the tenth floor, a tall red and blue gi wearing human was just finishing his Aikido warm-ups for the day(it takes a long while to go through them, so he was awake before the sun was up). Deciding to wait to change into regular clothes till later, he left his room and walked over to the elevator, which was right across from his room today, and pressed the button on the side. As the door opened, he noticed Cador feverishly reading a copy of the new Harry Potter book. Himo then grinned and said, "You're still not done reading that book?! It only took me four hours to read mine." He then pressed the button to take him down to the kitchen.

(It actually took me five, but four sounds a whole lot betterXP)

"You know what?!?Never mind Craig your paving the dam wall because it was your fault."Ryou said smirking as he made his way back to his room to put his blades away.He noticed Himo walking out and speaking briefly with Cador."Hey Himo...just got up?Or were you doing Aikido?"Ryou said going into the elavator when Himo got out and pressing the 8th floor.When he did get there he entered his room to put his blades away.Then walking back to the elavator he went back to the kitchen.Then back to the gym to work on his jabs,punches,aim,dexerity,speed,and kicks.

“Only if you don’t go taking food from my plate like that again,” Xa said, seemingly not intimidated by the katana.

((No really, my brother does that and I really don’t like it :_( ))

Xa Far got back up and returned his attention to the remainder of his breakfast.

Ruseku looked at everyone.

"Hm... Well, I'm gonna go get some food and crap. Anyone want something?"

Ruseku stood up and put his shoes on.

((BTW, I'm off for the night.))

Sarkos murmered in his sleep as the sun glared over his eyes, his room on the 5th floor was very very messy, which reflected his appearance and lifestyle greatly.
He sat upright as the sun covered his entire face, he swore has he stepped on his PS2 controller, he stumbled over to the window and closed the curtains.
*Its way to early to wake up, its only 11AM*
He again stumbled over to his bed and pulled the sheets up to his face, he staired at the ceiling and let out a scream that could be heard throughout the entire complex.

A few minutes later the door of the kitchen swung open leaving a dent in the wall,
in one hand he held a fairly large poster of The Grudge, in the other a tape recorder playing that horrible noise she makes.
With blazing fury in his eyes he said,
"WHO THE HELL TAPED THIS TO MY CEILING?!"
He dropped the recorder on the ground and smashed it with his foot.
Then he rested his right hand on the hilt of his dagger.
His eyes darted from everyone in the room.

((I'm not a morning person))

Freak walked up behind Sarkos and placed a hand onto of his head. "Will you shut your yap! Your screaming woke me up." Looking around the room he spied the hole in the wall and let out a deep sigh. "Looks like I've got my work cut out for me." He mumbled. Reaching towards the wall next to him he flipped up a panel revealing a switch, which he promptly pushed. Suddenly a heave 'CLUNK' and 'WHOOSH' could be heard as a large metal panel fell in place along the wall, covering the hole.

"I'm not going to bother asking who put the hole in the wall, but I'll tell you right now that is the last one there will be." He then walked into the middle of the room and crossed his arms in front of him. "I'm the new Maintenance Chief for the building, and I've managed to put a few improvements in place already since I took over yesterday. No more random explosions, holes in the wall, broken windows. NO MORE!! I've gotten most of the walls already re-enforced with my special alloy, and I'll be working on the windows next. This'll practically make this building idiot-proof, but don't take my word for it. You can try it for yourself, but if you manage to damage anything, you'll be the ones fixing it. And it's come out of your own pockets too." He gave a toothy grin as he said this. "I already have the assistance of my Light-Bot friends, but there is two openings for other tenets to act as the Maintenance Crew." I'll be taking applications for the next twenty-four hours, you snooze you loose."

With saying that he walked out and to a small corner at the far end of the hallway. It was here that he used to stay. His bit of hazing from when he first showed up in the apartments. He knelt down and picked up the last box, hauling it to his new apartment/Lab. He walked up to the door, hand ready to turn the nob when he heard a muffled 'THOOMP'. He opened the the door to let out and dust and smoke that was now inside. Letting out yet another sigh, he walked into his place, to yell at Pisces for trying to blow the place up again, even if it wasn't on purpose this time.

After the training Ryou thought it was enough for the day and darted back into the kitchen.Ryou was surprised to see everyone still eaten and all."Hey Sarkos,..."Ryou said walking past the hole in the wall again and setting himself on a chair his crossed but straight,on another chair."I thought you weren't a morning person Sarkos."Ryou said as he quenched with thrist.It was only right...Ryou hadn't drank something for the last night also.Ryou stood up from the position and went to the refridgerator to grab a soda.Then he opened it and went back to sitting on a chair and his legs straight but crossed,sipping the soda.

Craig got up and started to walk to the counter to get some food "oh please like I would stop breaking through walls just because anime freak told me not to." He grabbed some pancakes and a cup of coffee then sat down at a table. "Oh sorry for ruining some of your food Wise didn't really mean to do it"
