While Grandy is in an hiatus, I'll be working in this other character of mine, Devon Firefly.
Now, I don't know wether I'll make a full sheet out of him or not, I'm just spriting him because I like him, and it bores me to work just on Grandy.
Onto the character, then:
"Devon" is his name. It originally was "Demon" but I though "Hell no, this is overused and quite franky I don't like it" so I changed to Devon, which sounds alike and is cooler. "Firefly" comes from his two powers: controlling fire and flying =D
See those things in his arms? They're gauntlets with tiny holes, microscopic even, which release in the atmosphere a higly flamable gas.
He controls the gauntlets by applying pression inside them with his arms. And can change the direction and even the pressure in which the gas is liberated. The gas combusts by just touching the atmosphere, so, ya, instant fire.
There is another metal plate in his back, below his clothes, with two holes that are much bigger, and can be activated to make fake wings which resamble those of a dragonfly, those are huge wings that give him stability while flying, but do not lift him off ground, a third smaller hole in his plate works as an jetpack, this one is the one which lifts him from the ground. The fire in this one can't be seen, though.
If his pose seem awkward. Well it IS awkward, I just couldn't be bothered to make a better one right now because it's LATE.
Also, here a three things to remember about Devon:
1 - His eyes are aways wide open, and he seems scared at all times. His eyes are also aways partially hidden below his hair.
2 - He is aways grinning. Not smiling, grinning.
3 - He is supposed to look like a psycho.
The bases I used for him were Porgas D. Ace (or rather, I started with him, and then changed pretty much everything, less the grin) from One Piece Grand Battle Swan Collosseum, Kazuki from Jump Ultimate Stars, Allen Walker from Jump Super Stars and... that's pretty much it. I looked at L as and example on how to make the eyes, but not really as a base.
