I kinda just ran into this thing, and then looked up it's small entry in Wikipedia in the main Negima article.

But whatever, I haven't even finished the series, let alone read anything past Volume 1. :<

The manga is still going on and both animes decide to make an AU. The actors/actresses for this all look the same and Yuna look horrible.

In short, the original manga is the only Negima related thing worthwhile.

Well, I'm gonna just watch the Live Action anyway. I mean, I can ***** about the fact that at least three characters don't have the extra accessories that they should have (Chachamaru, Sayo, Zazie). Heck, Ku Fei (don't have a fav char for this series, btw) just seems too manly. But anyway, reason I'm going to watch a bit of it when it comes out is just to see how they handle this. What do you think the chances of Chamo being a stuff animal is? that is mildly funny

Until then, might as well wait for the rest of the manga and watch a bit of the !? series.

Gah, sorry for double posting and gravedigging, but the site updated, it seems (I think)
that the show will be airing on the 3rd of October.
No infomation on who will be playing Negi though.
