Title: I'm scared...
Sine Diego - July 3, 2007 01:30 AM (GMT)
I honestly am scared right now.
My parents have been arguing intensely the last few minutes and it's left me VERY shaken. From what I can gather, my mom thinks my dad has been seeing someone else, and it's just gotten really nasty.
I'm scared for the both of them, because I know they love each other and hearing them argue is killing me on the inside. I don't want things to spiral out of control, and I want this pointless arguing to end, and and at the same time i'm feeling powerless to do so.
God help them...
God help me...
*sniff*

It'll be all right, with any luck they'll come to a mutual, adult agreement to the situation and they can talk it out like adults. *pats sinepost on the back*

Slug him. Fidelity is a choice and stupidity has it's consequences. It's a nasty situation, but your father put himself there.

Hahaha, no. Welcome to America, land of the 50% divorce rate.

Nonono, you got it wrong, Bill. My mom only THINKS that my dad is like that.
I know for sure my dad is not like that, it's just that my mother has a tendency to grossly overreact and blow things out of proportion, as was the case this time.
I went downstairs to try to ease things between them and things have cooled down immensely. Thank God i'm so good with words.
*sigh of MAJOR relief*
Hopefully my brother will come home soon so we can both talk to them. The both of us together are quite the masters at speechcraft.
BTW Bill, I'm canadian. I know it's part of NORTH America, but still.

In an argument, people often say things they don't mean. If it's calmed down already (in what, twenty minutes?) things are probably going to be OK.

This is not the first time they argued about this subject, but I hope you're right.
I love them both, but they need proper counseling. I do NOT want them or me to go through this again.
