Aroxys had dropped into an offensive stance as he awaited his opponents move.

Jay threw away some nachos and entered the ring, taking up his Open Palm stance as usual, examining Aroxys. His last fight with a human had been easy, but this guy had somehow beaten Davin.

As Jenny announced the fight, Jay leaned down, putting his hands on the ground and his left foot back behind him, and pushed off, beginning a quick run for Aroxys, a little to the man's left, pulling back his right hand, hoping to grab Aroxys' face and slam him into the ground.

Aroxys swung his left leg around heel-first as Jay drew close, hopefully catching the bat in the stomach and throwing him sideways.

Jay saw the foot go out, and stopped, kneeling, and then pulling his right hand up and hoping to land a punch to Aroxys' groin.

Aroxys grabbed out at his opponents arm out of pure reflex, having been hit there before, and caught his wrist.
He then attempted to spin Jay and himself around like a top around before throwing the bat.
He began recovering from the spinning, and knew if it didn't toss Jay out, then it would at least disorient him long enough for both of them to recover.
If it didn't work however, it'd mean a few hits for himself.

Jay felt Aroxys grab his hand, and put his own hand around the human's wrist, pacing his feet on the ground, and pulling back on Aroxys rm, attempting to pull it out of socket, while simultaneously attempting to punch Aroxys in the face with his other hand.

Aroxys quickly grabbed his opponents fist, while pulling back with his other arm.
He then attempted to flip his opponent over to slam him on the ground back-first, knowing the same would happen to him.

Jay began to flip with the human, but while in midair over the human's head, pulled as hard as he could, hopefully slamming his head into Aroxys's, in about a split second.

((Are you some kind of super human? Because flipping someone over your head is incredibly hard to do.))

((My character is alot older than he appears, and would have had alot of time to build up that kind of strength. It's not impossible, it would just take time. Sorta like how some people can break solid concrete without hurting themselves.))

Aroxys couldn't tell what his opponent was doing in time to do anything, and took the attack.
He'd lost his balance even faster from the strike and focused only on bringing his foe down with him.

Jay pulled his feet down under him on the landing, pulling his hands back from Aroxys, and hitting his bum on the ground in the process, the force of falling throwing him a bit off balance. He quickly pulled himself up, and attempted to kick Aroxys in the face.

Aroxys rolled out of the way of the kick before getting back up himself.
After that he attempted a leg sweep to knock down his opponent.

Jay jumped over the leg sweep, and landed on his left leg to do a kick to Aroxys's head with his right.

Aroxys barely moved his head away in time to soften the blow, but due to the fact that he was lower to the ground and was on his hands during the leg sweep, he aimed for his opponents stomach and lept up, legs first.
It was more meant to be a recovery move.

Jay took the kick to the stomach, stumbling back, but recovering. He jumped back (Flapping his wings to give him more speed) to a few yards off of the edge of the stage farthest from Aroxys. He spit on the ground, and pulled up a defensive stance, betting that the human would fall for his old move, but that wasn't his goal. He had something entirely different planned.

Aroxys decided to use his own defensive stance, and steadied his breathing to calm himself.
If he had to wait out his opponent, he had no problem with that.

Apparently Aroxys wasn't going to attack, so Jay shrugged and took a seat, legs bent in front of him, hands on the floor. He knew this wouldn't be popular with the crowd, but when he threw Aroxys out of the Tournament, they would love it. He had it all planned out.

Aroxys finished calming himself and dashed forward, stopping just outside of striking range.
He then took up an odd stance, crossing his arms in front of him and bending his knees.
If Jay tried anything, he'd be in for a suprise.

Jay pulled his legs under him as Aroxys began his dash, and the second the human got close enough, more than likely before he would stop and take up his odd stance, Jay pushed off and rocketed forwards, aiming his head at Aroxys's groin, flapping his wings and speeding towards the man, reaching his target in about a second.

Aroxys realised what had been planned and took advantage of it.
Renforicing his right elbow with his left arm, he slammed it straight into the back of his opponent's skull, hopefully smashing Jay into the ground.

Jay was hit in the skull, though it was extremely unlikely that an elbow could hit someone at groin height, how awkward it would be to do that, and how the force of that attack would be enough to knock someone to the ground. The attack was enough to knock Jay towards Aroxys calves, though he had enough forwards velocity to hit Aroxys in the calves, unless the human did something about it, Jay would probably knock him over.

Aroxys wound up being knocked over, since he had bent himself in an awkward position to make the strike, but it was okay with him, as he disliked anyone who tried such a underhanded attack.

Perhaps even more awkward was the position the two fighters were in.

Jay, now under Aroxys, pushed back with his left elbow, hopefully digging into the man's side, pushing up with his other hand to get Aroxys off him. Jay had his wings unfolded, so there was no pressure on them yet, though Jay did fold them under his chest in case Aroxys fell on one.

Aroxys began to push back before getting up on his knees, but not off his opponent.
He respected the fact that his opponent was as determined as he was, but it was still a fight, so he rolled forward off his foe, flipped around and tried to grab Jay's feet.
He made the mistake of grabbing his opponents wrist before, he wasn't going to do it again.

The human flipped off of Jay, and Jay took advantage. He pushed with his hands, flipping forwards, turning and charging Aroxys, reaching him in about a second, sliding low, and tried pulling his left leg behind Aroxys's right, and thenkicking off with his right leg, hopefully pushing both of them into the air, and knocking Aroxys to the ground. If this worked, Jay's shoulder would end up in Aroxys's groin.

Aroxys was knocked to the ground and waited for a split second before a dull "thock" was heard.
He had the foresight to put on a cup.
Aroxys smiled at his opponent before trying to bring his legs up to slam down on his opponent.

((A cup chafes, makes moving harder, and is generally uncomfortable. You would move slower, and you wouldn't like to run. I know, that's why I didn't wear one in soccer. But, Hell, whatever.))

Jay winced and pulled his hand back, getting kicked in the chest and falling back, unfolding his wings so they wouldn't crushed. Jay jumped up and then leaped to the edge of the ring, pulling up a defensive stance, and waited for Aroxys.

Edge of the ring, huh? Thought Aroxys, he knew better than to think it was anything but a trap.

He moved forward twoards his foe, but was leery about doing so, keeping his distance.

Jay simply waited, catching his breath.

Aroxys got as close as he dared and began waiting.
Either his opponent or himself would break the silence.

Jay was breathing evenly now, feeling a lot better than earlier. HE was still waiting though, and didn't intend on moving. He was getting refreshed here, wiping a way some sweat from his forehead.

Aroxys had waited enough.
He tried to slide into his opponent before sweeping his legs around in a 360 degree circle, then rolling backwards.

Jay jumped over Aroxys, falling to the ground as the human rolled backwards, Jay attempted to grab Aroxys's foot and use it as leverage to pull his feet into Aroxys's head.

Aroxys was grabbed by the ankle, but attempted to swing his other leg into his opponents arm, while simoultaneously attempting to throw a straight jab at his opponents head.
With any luck, it would throw the bat off him.

Jay was hit in the arm, bending it and throwing him into the ground, as the bat dodged the jab to the head by letting go of Aroxys' foot and rolling to the side. Jay pushed off of the ground, and he landed on his feet, and then attempted to drop an elbow into Aroxys' gut.

This time Aroxys wasn't quick enough to block the attack, taking the full force.
However, he then recovered just enough to try and grab Jay's shoulder to slam him into the ground, back first.

Jay hit the ground, unfolding his wings so they wouldn't get ripped, one of them more than likely hitting Aroxys in the face. Jay flapped his wingsas he pulled hmself up, hopefully distracting Aroxys, and then jumped away from the human as fast as he could.

Aroxys had been struck in the face, but was not easily distracted.
Aroxys began attacking with more agressively by trying to plough into Jay with his shoulder, intentionally throwing himself off-balance to somersault once on the ground if he missed.

Jay side stepped Aroxys, as the human sumersaulted, he kicked at his back, hoping to push him enough so he would fall off of the edge of the rink.

Aroxys had taken the hit, and found himself lying face-first in the grass on the arena.
