There's nothing like taking the already butchered art of making sprite movies and adding shitty JPEG quality graphics too it.
So the name was already rather cliche'd, and I could tell by your avatar that the graphics weren't going to be any better.
I was right.
So right off the bat, you begin with a slow paced and typical 'anime' opening, which needed graphical help badly, and was way too dramatic for the level of skill you have. Sprites and drama DO NOT MIX.
Even funnier was the fact the damned opening took 1/3 of the movie.
Next, the image quality was horrible. It was even a step down from flash because it was slow paced and had almost zero animation. Single frames? It was like watching a .GIF with poor choices in music.
Ah the music. Aside from the opening, I recognized all of the songs, including the out of place ending to Bleach, and personally, I'm sick of hearing all of them. Find better music.
You had Avatar speech bubbles which were white and an eyesore, very little interesting text, and the storyline was that of Matrix viewed through the eyes of a 8 year old: Banal and predictable.
Stop now and do the following:
-Don't make anymore WMV sprite movies
-Work on your spriting, storytelling, and storyboarding (if you know what those things are)
-Begin to learn basic drawing
-Choose better music
-Don't make these because Kirb inspired you too. BAD IDEA. Never, EVER make TTA inspired movies...that's a guarenteed formula for failure.
-Pick up and learn flash. There's ways of getting it.
-Read up on basic animation and watch other's movies to pick up tips.
From the get go, you're diving into this project with little understanding of quality or having the skillsets required to make something worthwhile.
Don't settle for 'good enough,' always push for 'better.'

I'm planning on getting better. plus we don't have a flash maker on our computer.
as for the drawings they were done in paint , I don't have the greatest drawing skill on paint. and by tta inspired me I mean pretty much that it motivated me to do this. and another thing although I'm wanting to learn to get better dissing my work is not appreciated.
I've already started episode two, I'm making the animation smoother than it was in episode 1. I'm also gonna take more time on each episode to as u said settle for better

Flash is a program made by macromedia. There's places you can get it, and I don't mean retail stores.
Also, the best way to improve the animation is by jacking up the FPS (frames per second) to at least 20 FPS. That'll make things less jerky.
Watch some television shows and other flashes to try and get an idea how you can improve your 'camera work.'
Des Gardius - June 23, 2007 01:12 AM (GMT)
Everything Beta said, since I don't like repeating details, except instead of a 20 FPS you should go with 24, since that tends to be the universal standard in animation.
The main thing that bothered me was the lack of camera angles. Having the camera at the position you had it tends to make people focus on the background as opposed to the character that's talking. If you want people to focus on a character that's talking you should have it zoomed in to where you can only see the top half of the character. If you really want to get a good view of how camera angles can change the scene for the better then I suggest turning on the TV and just watch how the camera's angle helps the scene.
Overall this is a really crappy first try. If you want to go somewhere with this then you HAVE to be willing to put time into it to make it as good as you can get it. And i'm not talking about few hours. I'm talking days of work, weeks if need be, planning out your animation and script, getting bugs out of them, then once you're done with them, go through them again and again and again to find ways to improve them, then do so. The best work comes from spending lots of time on them and you have to be willing to do that if you want this project to last.

I'm on Beta and Des' side with this.
First off, having to download each episode can put people off easily, another reason for flash.
The music was ok, but according to other members their a bit too recognisable.
Obviously you can't incorperate sound effects and music at the same time, which is another let down.
It also looks like you made each frame in photoshop or something and just put them into the movie.
The storyline was somewhat, hard to understand, and didn't make much sense overall, its hard to enjoy something when you have no idea what it is.
The whole, bottom of the page text thing looked horrible, at least make it a different colour.
The drawings in the intro were okay, but need shading, or some more detail.
Thats all I can think of for now, just plan everything out in advance, and take your time, heck I have a flash series going and it takes me months to make an episode,
mostly because I'm lazy, tech issues, school work and *insert 4th reason here*
"Noone ever plans to phail*, many phail* to plan"
*Phail=tunafish, damn word block thingys

Hmmm... this has potential, but it's not something I personally would post on the internet yet. Don't take this as an insult-it's just constructive criticism. The other members made many of these points already, but I'd like to point out some things.
- Name was kind of cliche, as some of the other members said. Try something short, sweet, and to the point. Try to avoid dark, sinister sounding names. They just don't work and make you sound like a n00b.
- Intro was too long. Either condense it, seperate it from the full movie, or remove it entirely.
- Drawing was mediocre. If you used paint and did it via mouse, I suggest buying a Wacom Tablet. Much more versatille.
- Animation was too slow, so slow that I lost interest about halfway through.
- Although sprites CAN be used in drama, it is VERY difficult to do. I would try to use hand-drawn animations, since you are new at this.
- Music itself wasn't bad; however, as the other members said, it's too easy to recognize to be effective in a flash, unless the flash itself is a parody of the series in which the music originates. Try to use more generic music... i.e. Stay away from Naruto, Bleach, Full Metal Alchemist, and high-profile Final Fantasy music (One-Winged Angel, Liberi Fatali). Too easily recalled.
As I don't have time right now to inform you on how to improve your storyline, I'll leave you with this tech advice. There's potential, but there needs to be some hard work for this to come out in your favor.

thanks for the suggestions. I'm gonna try some of them. I don't know where to get flash via internet(if any one knows a site that I can download a flash maker 4 free please post link in this tread) as for the wacom tablet, well first off I'm flat out broke. second my parents would prolly say it's a waste of money and not let me buy one. as for the storyline it's going to be confusing at first but don't worry, more wil be explained in the next episode. there will also be more action a smoother animation. and I figured out how to play music and sound effects it will take longer butI'm willing tomake that sacrifice of my time
