Damn, talk about an oddball little movie. You've got Bruce Campbell as a geriatric Elvis. You've got Ozzie Davis is an old (and now black) JFK. And you've got a mummy terrorizing an old folk's home. And it's good. Damned good. Big ups to Bruce Campbell for disappearing into his role as Elvis. I forgot it was him a few times while watching it. Funny, sad and spooky. Cheesey, too, but in a good way.
DVD comes out May 25th. The movie is good, but the REAL purchase value comes from a feature-length audio commentary by a completely in-character as Elvis Bruce Campbell. Easily a renter, could justify a buy.
