Saw it yesterday. It was pretty hyped and it did get rather mixed reviews. Honestly, my opinion of this movie was mixed.

I believe the Pirates movies are over-rated...

I just got back from watching.

I was confused as fuck most of the whole time.

There were too many thing going on at once. It was pirate-councils with pieces of eight, it was the pirate king (Ya-yo! Ya-yo! Ya-yo! Ho-ho! Set sail for One Pieeece!), it was the godess, it was Davey Jones heart and Will's father and Jack and so on.

It was good but way too much going on.

It also wasn't as funny as the last one. Some parts made me crack up, though. Like multiple Jacks.

Bahaha the theatre cracked up when one of the hallucination Jacks lost his brain.

I thought it was pretty good, but I hadn't seen DMC all the way through, so naturally I was a little confused. I assume the chest with Davey's heart is the Dead Man's Chest? :P

I saw it yesterday. I've got to admit, that was great. Esspecially the showdown between The Black Pearl and The Dutchsis (sorry if I spelt the name wrong).

I'm not sure if they are planning to make another sequal, but if they are, I hope Johnny Depp will be up for it.

Yes, the Dead Man's Chest is what contained Davy Jones' heart for his supposed-to-be ten years of harvesting souls. If one were to kill Davy Jones via stabbing/destroying his still beating heart and carving out your own, rather than dying, you would gain immortality until your ten years of service were up.
