Before I even get started...yes, this is a DBZ/Sonic Crossover RP. Anyone can join, but before I do, I'll start with a little backstory. After I get enough players to sign up in this thread, I'll make a plot.


Short backstory: Things are different in here than in the normal Sonic world. The Chaos Emeralds are all scattered, for someone to find all 7. When they are found, rather than gaining the ability to go Super, they are allowed one wish, of anything they choose. When the wish is made, the 7 Emeralds fade from view, then reappear in seperate spots all over Mobius.

Species Info:

Hedgehogs: A rare species, but the one with the greatest potential. They don't start off that strong, but they are the only species with the ability to go Super, an ability earned over time. (Note Super in this RP is different then in the old games, they don't become invincible, just much more powerful) Also, Hedgehogs can perform a 'Fusion Dance', that allows any two hedgehogs to become one person, with a combined appearance, combined personality and combined power level for half an hour. However, if the dance is not performed in complete sync and perfection, the combined Hedgehogs will have a massively low power level, and an obesity problem for this half hour.

Echidnas: A more common species, and start stronger than Hedgehogs. They have a natural ability to 'Fuse' with other members of their species, when this happens, they become the same person, their personalities and appearances are blended, and their power levels are combined. This is permanent, as opposed to Hedgehog Fusion.

Foxes: A very common, but weak species. However, their weakness is made up for the fact that they can 'Sense' a chaos emerald if it is nearby, making them expert Chaos Emerald hunters. Also, over time, they are able to 'Unlock their true potential', which makes them alot stronger.

Rabbits/Wolves: Same as Foxes.

Bats: A somewhat common species, that has the ability to fly without expending their own personal energy levels, due to their wings. They also have the ability to unlock their true potential, but their potential is lower than a Fox or Rabbit.

Humans: A species on the brink of extinction, Humans are gifted with technological prowess. The power of the machines varies from human to human. They are responsible for all technology, their creations varying from toaster ovens to 500 foot battlemechs. Humans without technology to assist them however are EXTREMELY weak.

Chao: Often kept as pets among all but Humans, the strength and personality of these creatures varies from how they are raised. However, they don't have the greatest maximum potential, and in general are quite weak.

Other Species: They will come in time, and their features and powers will vary.


With background info out of the way, some basic rules.


Remember the limits of species availability! Example: There will not be that many Hedgehogs, even fewer Humans.

Don't 'Play God'. Even thought this is a rip of the DBZ universe, remember, each character has limits. If your character gets into a fight with one stronger than you, expect to lose, your character could even possibly die, that is at the discretion of your opponent however. Remember, if you die, you can always make a new character.

Canon Sonic characters WILL be involved. In fact, to make a starting plot, most of them will be involved.

It helps to join a 'group' or 'party'. It makes the RP more fun. When making a 'group', also try to diverse your species.


Energy Level Info:

Hedgehogs: Starting energy level: 100. Energy required to achieve Super: 1,000.
Echidnas: Starting energy level: 200. Energy after Fusion: The sum of both energy levels combined.
Foxes: Starting energy level: 50. Energy required to 'Unlock Potential': 800.
Wolves: Starting energy level: 50. Energy required to 'Unlock Potential': 700.
Rabbits: Starting energy level: 50. Energy required to 'Unlock Potential': 600.
Bats: Starting energy level: 100. Energy required to 'Unlock Potential': 500.
Humans: Starting IQ: 100.
Crossbreeds: (not possible with Humans) Depends on the crossbreed. Post here if you want to request a crossbreed.

Saiyans have rather been replaced by Hedgehogs. So that's probably your best bet.

Trinkets such as swords and knives can be used by non-humans, but only humans can wield weapons such as firearms, explosives, etc...

He wears a pair of black and white Converse All-Stars. He also wears a pair of grey jeans, and a black System of a Down tee underneath a button-up shirt, which he keeps unbuttoned. He carries a pair of green goggles around his neck, in cae he should need them.
Background info: He grew up with only a mother, as his father had run off when he was very young. His mother raised him well enough, though she was between jobs most of the time. Davin has thus set off to find the Chaos Emeralds so he can make a better life for him and his mother.

Background info: A wandering mechanic who has made a light combat suit to aid him in his travels, gaining speed, strength and mobility. The helmet also doubles as a data storage device. He also carries an energy blade for self defense.
Aroxys has traveled the roads for several years, for two reasons: First, he wants to aquire knowledge, so to some, he is a chronicaller (spell?).
Second, he wants to aquire one of the seven chaos emeralds to fully power his suit (It has a power core, but it isn't nearly as strong as an emerald), but has only a vauge idea where to find them, so naturally, the search for knowledge is a great asset to this.

Background: A fighter in training, Hana likes to taunt her opponents and play tricks on them. She carries a wooden rod, about five feet long, as a weapon. She doesn't have a highly refined style of combat with the rod, but usually opts to swing it like a baseball bat. Usually, she has something moderatly heavy attached to the rod, but the last object, a bronze bell, flew off while she was practicing with it, and she hasn't bothered to find it, nor has she found anything to replace it.

Also, I will be making an 'IQ system' for Humans, to determine what levels of Technology they can create/use.

NOTE: There is only one more Human slot and Hedgehog slot open.

Side note: Info on raising power levels: A 'real fight' will raise your power alot more than a training session, but remember that a real fight puts your characters in danger, and could possibly mean their death.

After the accident Craig replaced his missing arm with a mechanical one that can transform into a simple beam gun. He can also use a variety of ballistic weapons.(like guns and cannons) After the operation he was in a slump because of him not being able to feel anything in his left arm. After hearing a legend about the chaos emeralds able to grant any wish He decides that he wants to collect the chaos emeralds so that he can regain his left arm and be able to feel again and nothing will stand in his way.

Also, since we had a little problem with the last match: Humans are by no measure built to fight like the other creatures are, which the other creatures have certain strengths.

Humans are more well-rounded, and can't fly or use Chaos energy.

Hedgehogs have the best speed, followed by Wolves.

Rabbits and Bats can fly, and certain Foxes can fly aswell. They also have good dexterity/agility.

Echidnas have the greatest strength, except when compared to a Super Hedgehog.


Also, we're out of Human slots as of now.




As for tournament matches: When both opponents have made their entrance, the fight may begin.
