I think an anime is a bit over the top though...i dont like most shows about games...Final fantasy unlimited was alright, not my fave though

Well, if it's true, I'm definitively looking forwards to it. This has been the subject of discussion over at various KH-sites, and nobody is really sure if it's true or a mere rumour... but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Both for it being true, and that they will include Kefka. Kefka is the awesome. There is no way I could ever put in text or words how much I love that psycho clown. He could pwn that silvery-haired whiney little mamas-boy anyday o' the week, twice on Sundays, and thrice on days when the sun shines. He is the bestest of them all.

Disney + Square = Game I'd rather miss.

Unlike a lot of people I'm not a Japanfreak, Square freak or Anime Freak and I'm firmly a very "western" person.

If it was on Fox Box, it'd be dubbed by 4kids...and 4kids doesn't even HIRE translators. They just make stuff up!

Besides, since Disney is a primarily american company, I doubt any third party would do the translating. But whatever.

Personally, I think this is another one of Eisner's moneygrubbing ideas. What's a better way to make money than to exploit the fans of anime and squaresoft?

Of course, I predict it'll get delayed by legal battles over the rights. I mean, with any crossover you get concerns with that. Plus, this would probably end up being the only anime with a decisively better dub than sub.

I mean, I cannot imagine Goofy speaking Japanese.

On the plus side, the pro-dub people would finally learn some of the pain of the pro-sub people.

I've heard Goofy and Donald in Japanese in some of the KH videos that came here before dubbing began. And they did quite all right. Sounded almost like the real voices speaking in Japanese.

Huh, wow, makes me wonder why we don't outsource more of our voices overseas...

I know I'd pick up this title when and if it's made. I loved Kingdom Hearts and think an anime about it would be a great thing to give the fans, assuming it's done right.

Question is, what would it be about? Prequel to part one? Intro to KH2? Or perhaps a KH1 direct translation from game to movie? Who knows? All I know is that I can't wait to see what happens here.

4Kids did good with Pokémon by keeping in the soundtrack, but they ruined Sonic X by putting in extremely dramatic music even when the mood is good.

Eh. Fantastic. I think. Or maybe not. Truth to be told, I never really was a big fan of Kingdom Hearts. The battle system was solid, but the levels and characters left me feeling like something was missing. I might watch it. But I won't buy it.
