Yes, I got GIMP, finally giving in, even though my text option doesn't work. I tried a grundge(SP?) tutorial first.

They both look fantastic non the less. I dont have any complaints. Some others might but i doubt it will be on the quality and artwork. [well they'll try now wont they?]

Not so crazy about the Sephiroth one because of those scratchy (is that the word for it?) looking colors, but the car one's very nice.

Used new text, and different colored brushes in the grunge technique.


Used new text, pixel background, and I tried inserting the render differently.

Used tech background, NEW BLOOD BRUSHES 8D, different text and type of border style.

I was actually thinking of a just a darkish colored banner with a master chief and stormtrooper picture with "Alex" in scratchy font on it. :unsure:

I think the Skeith could of been a little better, maybe some messed up text around, and take out it's opacity a little. And maybe not make it pixel background, doesn't fit him in my opinion.

When you mean messed up text, you mean like extra text scatted in the BG with a low opacity, or find a more messed up font?

Also, I'm not sure if this is my GIMP, or not. Everytime I insert a render (using "Open As Layer") then, "color to alpha", the render itself becomes semi-tranparent (if you look closely you can see it in all of them). How do I stop that?

EDIT: Oopdate. I may switch my current sig for this.

Redid my first Sephiroth one, after I found a new render.


Finished FF:AC sig.


Redid the Spidey sig. Now it's usable WITH CREDIT.


The reason why I took the name of the above one. :> I'll be using this later.

Not bad. I would recommend blending some of the sigs a little more. Start with colors from the render itself, rather than choosing a random color, placing the render and attempting to blend it afterwards. (top sig)

I guess you can tell I had no clue what to do with the first one. >_>'
