Well. I love to do my own work mostly. But the MMZ craze is dead, and was dead to me for a while. Currently? I have this:



RANDOMLY made for a gun topic thing. That's the new look for Linken really. I wanna keep the same clothes, the bangs, and yes people. The quills are there to stay, because I'm that much of a Sonic fan. :P

Anyway. I don't really have any base ideas. AT ALL. I reeeeaaaally need some help, and this is the first time I'm openly asking for it in a while.

Details: For the new Linken, I want him to use like.... a HUGE double bladed sword. Bassicly like a snow board with a whole in the middle, a HANDLE in that middle, and sharp edges. I'll probably make this myself, but I want a sprite that looks like it could handle such a thing. NOTE: Linken is NOT to be made into some big, muscle bound guy. >__> Muscles are fine, just as long as it's not like Juggernaut big. Or even Captain America big. D:

But yeah... what I'm trying to say is...

0_0 Well, all I can say is that you probably want someone with broadsword/axe wielding frames to do that.

But all I can think of are Tales Of sprites. Do you mind your character being a chibi?

For the body? Not really. The Tales sprite's bodies look good, but the heads are... too chibi-ish. If it could be made more... badass? Then yeah. Tales is fine. I actually almost made some myself, but lost inspiration.

Might I saw, I've always loved your character sprites. I especially liked the ones who used saws as a weapon. my personal feeling is you should stick with that theme. it was pretty original.

Anyhow, you're in luck. Your character doesn't need a whole crapload of sprites. I think this one would fit you, especially as I've always seen Linken as a tall character...

As you can see, I made two versions. One with a black outline, and one without. Why? Because my new sheet's style requires a black outline. Otherwise it looks... D: So yeah. I'm wondering which looks better? Because I can't decide. At all. .__.;; So someone help me out here? >.>

The outlined one. It's just... more full.

I agree with Octane, the black-line ones looks more complete to me.

Or maybe a more reasonable message would be: The black lined one is actually visible than the non outlined one.

But I think you should show that the yo-yo is attatched to his hand in some way. As it is, the end of the string just kinda floats there.

It's connecte to his index and middle fingers. If you look close, he moves them to move it. The "string" is just a symbol of a link to it. Nothing would happen if someone touched it.

Add a pose of the saw spininng alone without the skid sparks.

Some Bridget (guilty gear) poses would go well with this guy. o.o
