ROFLOMG IT IS ZERO BASED!... >_>

I am just happy I didn't make more sprites before this was opened, lol.

ANYWAY! As you can see, that is my character's outfit and will be so forever, just new sprites. Lol. Well, let's see. My character is dark based and uses alot of shadow like attacks. I could even name all of those attacks, but I think a base would be better first. Also, the thing with my character fitting more with Zero, was because my character controls the shadows and with that, he can summon his katana. So, finding a base for that is kind of hard really, especially with 5 different attacks for his Shadow Slash ability, which is more of a linking ability.
EDIT: Forgot to add that he is also a kicker. Whoops!

So unless I should remain with the Zero empire, I need to find a new base! So, HYELP!

Shame there weren't any Saiyaman Sheets. That woulda made the job easier...

ZOMG. This is new:

I suggest Yugi's lower half for the bottom part of the body
If that don't work...

Goku arms and torso do you good.

I see Hikaru's head being a Reasonable addition

It's all like... beatiful! :3
Thanks Betatronic, though I will continue to update this thread if I need any help or such.

Oh, I didn't use Yugi, cause that would mean that I have GREAT MUSCLES with a small puny legs so, yeah.

Betatronic - December 6, 2006 09:25 AM (GMT)
Eep! That Waist is thinner than a twig.

I fix it by lowering the torso a bit, bringing it back a pixel, and widening the belt. Still looks good, just more human.

Yeah, twig... XD Sounds funny, I dunno why.

Yeah, as you can see, I am having some slight problems with the walking sprites... Oh, who am I kidding. I am having terrible problems with those! I am just thinking that the legs are like... super tall! I was either thinking adding some more pixels to the upper body or just, like, take down the overbody some few steps. Might try some later, now, me rest.

Goku doesn't have swinging arms?
Then go ahead and rip the arms of someone else! In this case, you could use some Zero/Vent-age.

I mean, borrowing the arms doesn't give your character an air hump. >__>

Delta - December 6, 2006 08:03 PM (GMT)
And um, see if you can change that idle pose, the first pose on the left; it seems to give a small hint of air humping...>.>

Grandy - December 6, 2006 10:11 PM (GMT)
I fixed that, just a matter of moving the body one pixel to the right.

Also changed a few things like the arm, and other small details.

The shading on the robe could use help. It's got pillow shading syndrome.

Gamemastermz - December 7, 2006 01:38 AM (GMT)
Ummm...I can help on this department. I'm great with AA and would give your character some shape, if you don't mind a little waiting time. Later onward, you can get some help with the sheet if you need it.

Ummm...tell me what to edited first: the left or the right?

Edited to Beta's reply:
Sorry, I'm a little shy somewhat and can be polite a little too often.

That is the point of this section. Don't even ask, just make them and show them off. Remember to include parts for easy editing.

Here is what I have done so far:

I'm not done yet, and please don't kill me for that, but you can tell the improvement on that little sprite. I kept the old ones under them and add one of my own edit the right of the color palette. Tell me what you think, while I am panting hard from my hard day.

(Why does that sound like a song?!)
Edited: I'm going to kick myself hard. Forgotten a few changing, so I made a small edit to fix the problem.

Neverstorm - December 7, 2006 09:09 AM (GMT)
Niiiiiiiice! You people might be insane, but you sure are helpful. =3

And, well, the pillow shading is there cause otherwise it would just look weeeeeeird. And I was gonna try and fix that... PROMISE!

But once you are done GMZ with your few edits, I should be able to handle things on my own =P Hopefully.

Gamemastermz - December 8, 2006 10:46 PM (GMT)
*Panting, panting* Here you go! It wasn't as easy as many people might think, especially with little ol' me being a little sick. There only area I did not complete is the leg, mostly because the legs made me highly nervous about editing it.

- How do you like it?

GrooveMan.exe - December 9, 2006 10:36 AM (GMT)
I like the new cape - it looks like a puffer jacket now; but is that the look the original sprite was going for?

I actually don't mind how it looks like, cause I am still trying things. But, this is waaaaaaaay better than before =3

*Ego rocketing skyward* Heh, thank for that, you two! Good luck with the sheet and hope to see it soon!

Hmm... can anyone say... shitty shading on the dashing? lol.

Seriously, I am like, going insane if I don't know how to do that friggin shading soon x_x

GrooveMan.exe - January 1, 2007 03:04 PM (GMT)
From what I can see, you almost have it. What it looks like he did was separate the coat material into large squares, and shade them as separate entities, making it look fluffy. The dashing looks wrong 'cuz the legs don't move. >__>

Betatronic - January 2, 2007 01:41 AM (GMT)
Have you seriously just not been paying attention to anything I've said, or the tutorials?

Here's an idea on how to shade like that:

I'm not bothering to give you the small ones, cause I want you to try and figure out how to do it yourself. There's quite a few ways, and better ones than what I used.

GrooveMan.exe - January 4, 2007 04:46 PM (GMT)
Heh, my guess was right. ^_^

I wanna see how Neverstorm does it now!

There. I think everything is in order now. X_o

Betatronic - January 11, 2007 10:45 PM (GMT)
Aside from your ridiculous amount of colors, very nice.

Darken some of the shades up a bit. it'll add more detail.
