NEWS: 12/5/06

Betatronic is now a moderator, and runs the new "All Your Base" section. The section is for what amounts to "open source" spriting projects, and generally making personal sprites not suck/more original. Check out the section itself for more details.

1/24/07:

Being tired of waiting for Invision or PoM to fix the skin, I'm fiddling with TFS's images and stuff to try to get something done. I can almost garuntee the forum won't explode while I'm doing this.

First changes were the new-post/old-post icons and the banner on top, mostly because I was tired of mooching off Ian and Prism's bandwidth. And she turn the banner to "FACE," so I didn't have much of an excuse NOT to change it. I also removed all the broken emoticons, leaving us with... three. I'll add new ones later.

The reason all the new stuff is green is because... I like green. I'll change it if they're too ugly or something.

2/28/07:

I'm retiring as admin, because I don't feel I'm paying enough attention to do a through job. Hence my little change in user group.

Beta and Edge are taking over for me, and we've got two active admins again for the first time since Prism left. So you people can quit bothering me for name-changes and other details, as it's now THEIR problem. =P

The BOFH is now the new moderator of the Alt+Ctrl+Panic forum. Speaking of which, I changed the name around, so now it's Ctrl+Alt+Panic instead of Alt+Ctrl+Panic. I figure it works better that way.

Before there's a mass panic, I figured I should note I changed the warn system from 6 to 4. So now one warn equals 25%, and two warns equal 50%, and 3 equal 75%. Since no one who's still here has 4-6, I figured it wouldn't really mess anything up. Plus, the rules say 4 warns equal a ban, so why have 6 warn spots?

Also, a note: Edge (That's me, kids) and Betatronic are the admins. Don't go running to Creepy for adminly things, since he's retired. PM Edge or Beta if you have some sort of issue or anything. Preferably PM for me, since I don't check my email more than once a day.

Slurs ARE still flaming, though, and that IS against the rules, so keep that in mind.

No one on the staff condones the use of the word but we viewed permabanning as excessive.

Update:

Good God, kids, just because the word filters are gone means you should be cursing like a pissed off drunken sailor. Use restraint or we'll put the word filters back in place.

I'm planning at throwing a few new color setups over the next few hours and days, so watch that dropbox at the bottom for new options.

Since TFSU is dead and all, and no one really gives a damn about it (Or rather, anyone who did already knows it's dead and whatnot.) I've decided to kill the forum.

A little spring cleaning. Two of the links on our Supporters bar up there didn't lead anywhere now, so I've gonna ahead and taken them down. Now as long as you're not in 800 x 600 the whole supporters bar fits on one line!
