So anyone who watches the Anime Scene prolly noticed that some new block of shows finally knocked Toonami off its perch.... But I'm wondering if that's a good thing or a bad thing.

Yeah Toonami is getting pretty stale, but it wasn't all crud... I mean, 5 days in that time slot to 1 day on the weekend, man that's one major downgrade don't you think?

Miguzi is a weird mix, Composed of American-looking anime and Amine-looking American it doesn't really seem that interesting... I mean heck Teen Titans is the highlight... That new show is odd... I don't know how to feel, gives off a Reboot vibe (much like the filler). Mutant Ninja Turtles... O_o what were they thinking THERE... God let it die, LET IT DIE.

And for the record, Totally Spies should burn in the darkest layers of you know where... The fact that there showing it more rather than less scares me... what to people SEE in it?

So what do you think about this time slot shuffle? Only upside to Toonami's new times I can think of is that maybe they'll be able to get away with a bit more and maybe start showing some other older Toonami shows....

Actually, Mewchu, I just watch Miguzi for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Besides, I'm an old-school guy. TMNT's new look and fresh new revamped storyline is an A+ in my book! I could care less about Teen Titans.

ok..personally, i'm a fan of Teen titans, totally spies, and TMNT
for the record, TMNT has been out for some time..i dunno why cartoon network would suddenly start showing it (it has been on the fox box saturday/sunday mornings..its sundays for me..so bleh)

Dunno, They had the rights and it was just there I guess... :/ I never knew people here felt for it...

I wanna see that GXP series come to Toonami. Otherwise I'll just hafta buy the DVDs.

Miguzi is just plain wrong. They have no bad arse appeal. They may have some decent shows. But that is just messed up. I mean underwater? That's stupid. This day of age everyone wants space! It's like taking a step back.

And you know what. Although it's nice being able to watch toonami as much as I want on saturdays, knowing there is always something good on, <B>I'm really flippin' busy on saturday!!!</B>

That Code Lyoko show, IMO, sucks. The traditional animation sucks, the voice acting/dubbing/dialogue sucks, and there have been TWO good CG shows... Transformers, Beast Wars and Reboot. Nothing else has managed to be one iota as creative or good.

Totally Spies is an odd show... on an intellectual level, I hate it. But it's good mindless entertainment and MST3K material.

TMNT makes me cry... I know for a fact that all of the original voice actors are still alive, or at least Raphael's is, SO WHY GET NEW GUYS!? Also, theY butchered the creative elements of the plot right out of it. (I mean, a giant brain in a guy's stomach who rules Dimension X, crushing all who oppose him with an army of living boulders... GENIUS!)

And yeah, Teen Titans is the height of that programming block.

And no, you wouldn't want that. From the looks of it, it's racier than Tenchi Muyo, so it'd get Sailor Mooned.

Best bet is for Adult Swim to pick it up.

eh I like Miguzi myself although I wish they would have put Samurai Pizza Cats on it instead of Code Lyoko and even Reboot instead of Totally Spies

Still it's better than having DBZ reruns in my opinion. I'm glad that they went for a little change. I just wish they could have fit in the old school TMNT show as well. That would have rocked. For me at least I always thought a perfect Miguzi line up would be.

5:00 Samurai Pizza Cats
5:30 Old school TMNT
6:00 New school TMNT
6:30 Teen Titans

Still as I said, Miguzi is still watchable. I like it even if I don't like all the shows on it. Still that's just my opinion.
