I dont see how making a movie based on 9/11 can be considered a bad thing all because it happened a few years ago. You might as well protest at all the WW2 movies or the recent movie Munich.

I dun know...I guess it seems like it's getting posterized a bit. American Histroy seems to show that we do that, so I guess its really not all that out of the ordinary. In the end, we still have the option of watching it or not. I did come off too strongly about it. Hollywood can do whatever they want.

its amazing, they are gonna make some film about planes crashing into 2 buildings ( the fact) and 2 guys survive by using action and skillz ( the made up part that will probably be in the movie)
serious, a film made as a tribute and honor to those that died is one thing.
but how in *¨%£ name or they gonna make a film about an attack that didn't last for more than 2 hours

Did I say it was wrong to do that movie? No, I did not.
I do, however, think it'll be just like Titanic, which sucked, and probaly will dramatize everything so much that in the end it'll look like Bush is the new Messiah.

As in Titanic, when they made a relatively long movie from the sentence "A boat hit a big icecube and go boom."

It's just another attempt to cash in on another Disaster. Just like 'Titanic' and in my opinion, 'Schindler's List.' What they are attempting to so is try to give movie viewers a chance to see what it would have been like. Sadly, I believe they are mistaken for doing this approach.
Oh, and most WW2 movies suck in my mind.

great. my friend laughed when dicaprio died, she laughed during schindlers list and now she'll laugh for this film
maybe she does it to creep me the hell out of my mind....that laugh is pretty convincing
