The fifth (and supposedly final) season of this show is playing right now on the FX network, and quite frankly if this is the last one then it's the mother of all high notes to go out on. The writing is superb, the acting is phenomenal and it doesn't fall into the same contrivances that plague the vast majority of TV dramas. Shit, it made me respect Anthony Anderson as an actor last season, and that's something I thought I'd never ever do.

If there was any justice in the world of TV, this show would be DESTROYING fakey wankjob cop shows like CSI and its ilk in the ratings.
