Okay it isn't really that bad, but I have got to say it. WHO KNEW THEY WERE COMING OUT WITH A SILENT HILL MOVIE! I had no idea!

Now, I'm not saying this is going to end up being the best movie ever. But I have to say the preview isn't bad. Better than the Bloodrayne previews. I might actually see this movie in theaters, bad or not. If this is old news, I'm sorry. But if this is new for many, enjoy!

Oh and, I don't know why they made the mother be the star instead. The father (who is not the same) is alive too. And it is not Cheryl, it is Cherine. And why bother put Cybil (that was her name right, I haven't played this game in a while) in there?

The reason they canged the names, and because some things are different, is beacuse it's probably not based off the first story line. I don't think they could do a good movie based off the first game scenario, mainly because it was so open ended.

...Takura's going to come and yell at you for not knowing the SH movie was coming out.

And I doubt that it's based off of the third game, as Pyramid Head is in it. I haven't actually played any of the SH games (can never find the bloody things), but I do know that PH is from the second game.

But anyhoo, the movie looks interesting. It looks a lot better then the Resident Evil games, which I detest. I'll have to rent it when it does come out.

This is very old news, Master Shake made a topic about the movie along time ago and I think I posted afew links about it.
Anywho I get to brag about how special I feel because the movie was filmed half an hour from where I live; Brantford, Ontario =D
Also the movie has no real association to the games other then the plot being similar to the first game and Pyramid head is in it along with afew other monsters specifically from SH2 and I think acouple from SH4 as well.
The heard release date is April 21, 2006

And I am not really inclined to see it really. I've never been a huge fan of the Silent Hill games. I've rented one, sure, but I never beat it cause it bore me.
