So I found this on a Yugioh forum I frequently go too and I felt like I should share it. It looks like 4kids has made their own Yugioh series.

And yes this is not a hoax. It's REAL! The series is already up to episode 4 and going over in Ireland. It isn't in the US yet but it'll probably debut here after the Memory Arc ends.

I remember playing the capsule colleseum game on the PS2. I just thought it was a one off idea but by the looks of things it was based on this series (or the other way round). Either way it means the return of my favourite monster (You don't need many guesses to know who SHE*hint* is)

I honestly think the phrase "beating a dead horse" is starting to fit Yu-gi-oh.

It started with the anime, (and I'm talking about how the series got popular, not how the whole series started, which it all started with the manga, if I am correct) a lot of kids liked it, I even watched it myself, and it got popular and became the next Pokémon, then they started making cards based on the cards from the show, they, like the show, become popular as well.

The show gets more and more popular, they make new cards, they make those little Dual Disk things from the second season, make toys of the character from the show, video games. They even make a movie based on the series.

At one point, they released "Dungeon Dice Monsters," which was based off of one of the episodes of Yu-gi-oh, which it sounded like it was going to have a good amount of fans, buuuut it seems they didn't sell as well, I haven't met a single person that bought the dice stuff, and after they released the dice and the game, I haven't heard of it since.

From what I've heard, Yu-gi-oh is at it's last season, and they're now working on Spin-offs: Yu-gi-oh GX, (which is already out now) and Yu-gi-oh Capsule Monsters, (which should air here in the US soon) and I'm honestly thinking that they're milking the series for all it's worth. I honestly think it's getting old and tiring. :/


Anyway, it sounds interesting, although I doubt I'll be watching it, due to not enough time for TV these days and I lost interest in the series during the forth season. Where that group of bad guys would dual people and get their soul to use for some sacrifice to make some ultimate creature.

And if anybody wants to correct me on what I've just said, go ahead.

The story goes like this

Apparently Yugi and the gang are stuck in a living game of Capsule Monsters and have to get back home. However, I'm not sure why Atemu is still there since this apparently takes place after the Memory arc.

Indeed, wasn't Atem supposed to go to the afterlife at the end of the Memory Arc?

Anyway... This is all a little confusing. I just hope there'll be more info on this, soon enough.

4kids: taking interesting animes and mangas and beating the crap outta them after they kill em.

Capsule mosters was actually from the manga series (which in my opinion is still better than the damned anime). It was like duel monsters for the younger kids, and yugi met Seto's bro playing it. Any questions?

Actually...I think the whole Capsule Monsters thing was played out in the manga, but I could be wrong. I had seen an arc in the manga where Yugi and Bakura were battling each other in what I could only describe as Capsule Monsters in D&D format.

That was some RPG thing. Yugi and Mokuba played Capsule Monster Chess. I should know, the book's right behind me.

Yugi and Mokuba played a round of Monster Capsule Chess which *un-surprisingly* was rigged in the snooty little brat's favor. After getting the floor wiped with his head, Mokuba was on some level disowned by his older, and yet elitist brother.

Bakura was the story arc where it was a D&D-esque game, he of course was the "Dark Master Zorc" in his game incarnation and trapped most of their souls in the tiny pewter statues which represented their custom characters. He was dealt with somewhat quickly and the Thieve's soul was once again banished to purgatory only to surface again another dozen bloody times.

If you ask me I wish they would bring the first anime series (has seen the orignals in japanese) you know the one Shonen Jump showed after 4-kids broughts us the RAPED anime. Now correct me if i'm wrong alot of people like this show (I for one am one of them) they also like Yu-gi-oh GX and the cards. Don't you think its high time we took a petition to 4-kids to stop them from bring shit like this and bring good whole-some anime?.......Ok I suck at motivational speechs but who agrees with me?

Preach to me! I like the manga version! Besides...I want to hear the real version of Anzu's little speech to Seto at Duelist Kingdom... heh. I like uncut anime a lot more...more funny thing inserted there.
