I just saw on one of adult swim's bumps, that the cast of futurama are getting back together. They are going to make 4... new... straight to DVD movies! I can hardly wait! No way I'm missing out on this. Anyone as excited about it as I am?

Wow, I thought the show was cancelled due to lack of interest? I'm surprised they'd get back together to make movies. Maybe they're hoping it'll be like Family Guy where it became popular after it was cancelled and on DVD.

Wa-ho, call me a skeptic, but this is sounding too good to be true. You know any other sources that'll confirm this?

The source I got it from was on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. They had a notice on this yesterday. I'd say they are a reliable source, I mean they are cartoon network after all, a network that airs Futurama.

I had no idea they released info on this as early as July '05. It was news to me anyway.

and this is about the point where a horde of fanboys and fangirls rip out your intestines.

i for one am definately excited about these films as futurama in my opinion was much better than the simpsons.
