Well needless to say, I'm a little nervous about posting my work here, because there are quite a few brilliant artists on here that put me to shame. But since I'm new, why not?

I'll start off with some pics I drew on the computer. They're all pretty bad, but I can't draw with a mouse :P I get nervous about posting older art, but I do like to show progress, so here I go.

David My friend, David, as a Sonic character. He likes vampire movies and art and such so I thought I'd make his character a bat. XD He practically jumped up and down when he saw his character for the first time, so any and all fan art I do of him will be his bat self, unless told otherwise by him. Same goes for the rest of my good friends.

Pierce One of my Sonic OC's Pierce. Needless to say, it's not good and the colours are too dark, but it's old so meh.

Here's some pics I drew on paper first and coloured in the computer later. I went from using MS Paint, to GIMP, and finally to Photoshp 7.0. We'll start with the MS Paint piccys.

Abbey the Wolf HA! I'm so evil. XD This pic was done to make fun of someone who tormented my good friend, ZP, for 10 f***ing years. And by tormented, I mean physically hurt, humiliated, insulted. and mocked her. Most of the time she got her little boyfriends (who by the way, she still has wrapped around her pinky) to hurt her. Let's just say that if I ever see her again, not even the National Guard will be able to stop me from turning her inside out.

Disconnected I know I'm gonna be made fun of for saying this, but I'm prepared to deal with it. I was feeling a tad emo when I drew it. Every now and then I get a little depressed and I usually draw what I'm feeling, so most of my gallery is pretty dark.

ZP the Hedgehog - Chaos Form My pal, ZP as a hedgie when she uses the emeralds (surprisingly, this was intended to be her positive chaos form XD ) I probably should have used a brighter purple for the fire around her. :P

Jessie - Character Bio Iss meh. Well, me as an echidna.

PH334 HIM!!! :D Heh. Cz-Backlash, The Grim Reaper himself. Since it's older, I personally don't like it and the pose is strange, but meh. :P Ah well. I still think my newer one of him is better.

Syla - My DBZ character Syla's an old character that I just touched up a bit. What IS she? Let's just call her a mutant...a pretty one. :P

Broken Just a warning, blood and slight nudity. This was done when I finally got photoshop.

Here's some pictures that I did only with traditional tools. Pen, pencil, charcoal...ya know. That stuff.

Elf Girl Some random elf chick I did when I was in New York City with my sis. I saw the pose in one of my How to Draw Manga books and thought I'd give it a shot. It took a while and a few pieces of good paper, but it was worth it.

Angel Angel (ColdAngel77) is my Runescape character. I just added some stuff onto him. I guarantee you, you won't see black hair streaks, wings, elf ears, or red eyes in the game. XD

All Hail Shadow My first ever charcoal piece. Came out exactly like I envisioned. Okay the game wasn't very good, but I'm a Shadow fan, so nyaaa! :P

Samantha Another anime OC of mine, Samantha, Darien's gf. I may write a fiction about these two when I get the time.

Gothic Angel I was bored. I had angels on the mind and I was dressed a little gothish that day. Gothic Angels rule. XD

Now onto my photos. No these aren't simple snapshots. They're nature photos that I'm actually pretty happy with. I'm still an amateur photographer, but there are a few of these that I'm proud of. If these aren't supposed to go here, I'm sorry. I'll move them if needed. But I did take these pics for artistic purposes, so yeah. Here they are.

Late Bloomer Okay, this has probably been used a lot, but the flower that blooms the latest is the most rare and beautiful of all. That's the quote I had in mind when I took this pic. There's one flower that has just bloomed while all the others around it are dead.

Bug's Eye View I'm pretty happy with this one. For a pic taken with a disposable camera, it turned out nicely.

Relaxing I was sooo excited when I took this shot! Okay, I was at the zoo and there was a small hole in the cage where this leopard was. I stuck my camera lense through the cage and had to whistle to get his attention, but when he looked right at me, I took the shot. I only had black and white film when I took this, but for some reason, I thought it looked cool when I turned it a light green. I may replace this with the black and white photo if I ever find it, but for now, I like it.

Inside a Bush I'm so using this for a future fantasy piece.

Jaguar Sorry if this is hard to see. :P Black and white was all I had when I took this pic. All the rest of the pics I took of this gorgeous animal are blurry.

And only one of my poems is up so far. Depressing, so don't click if you don't like the dark stuff. I'll probably post more of my writing when I get the chance. Sorry if this isn't supposed to go here. :P

Wow. These things are really great, probably better than I can do. I really like the All Hail Shadow picture, it looks amazing.

Very good art. Can't really pick my favorite, but again, they're all really good.

Well, some of them are nice, thats for shure.
But the begining top page ones are a little to unsharp for my taste. But they are probably older pictures, or done with a less capable system. Other then those couple points, and the fact that some of your backgrounds are a little unorignal, (the first CZ-Backslash fanart. The one with all the lightning. Mainly because i usually see that same lightining over and over again.)

But there are good points to ya know. I do like your Shadow The Hedgehog picture, its very nice. And you do seem to have the furry/Sonic style down nicly. I could never seem to get the face as good as you could. And your emo pictures are good. But some, not dark enough for my taste. But thats just me.

Oh, and there is one or two more things I should add. On your Disconnected picture. The words, its nice, but the red lettering should of been in a difrent font. Somthing Like chiller from word.

Oh and Vampire~Queen. Nice name, I will have to remember it.

Yeah as far as darkness goes, I haven't really got the guts to post some of my darkest stuff, or show people my cheerish side, for that matter. I guess you could call me kinda secretive. And the first fanart of Backlash was done on GIMP and I didn't really understand how to make a more advanced background yet, so that's the reason for all the repetitive lightning, but now that I know how to use the diff. tools in PS and the gradients and such, I think I've gotten better. I do like to show progress in my work, as previously stated, which is why I posted all my older stuff up to my newest work. I'm proud to say I improved.

Welcome to the forum. Your artwork is nothing to be ashamed at, really. I know we wil always have someone better than us putting us to shame, but with practice, you'll develop a style unique to yourself, and thats something special, that noone else will be able to do. I hope you join us in the creation of spritecomics. If you need help with a spritesheet, feel free to ask, I may have some free time to do it.

Wow... This still is pretty damn good! All are, to me at least, quite creative and in some cases, evil. I like evil art XD. But in all seriousness, hope to see more art from you soon.

Thats good, really, ^^. Oh and two more peices of critisim.

One- I do really like those pictures, the ones that are basicly just a photo, in a diffrent color. But there kind of bland. And seeing as how you write poetry (like me,) maybe you should put a poem onto a picture like that. I'll just use an example. On the jaguar photo, all you had was him and thats it. And you had lots and lots of room. Personally, I would of put a poem to the side, a small one, about lonlyness. Because, the Jaguar is all alone. Thus implying that the Jaguar has no friends, and then making the picture itself stand out more into a persons mind.

Two- Your poem, its very nice, Very nice indeed. I like it alot, it really speeks to me.
But I was looking over your pictures, and the backgrounds on some of them, could use some work. I'm not saying your bad, and I'm not saying that they are bad. But, some of them just seem a little bland to me. Like your signature background, its basicly just clouds with sound, (or ripple, i forget,) not very orignal. Maybe you should try somthing more interesting, but not enough to pull away from the drawing itself.

(( Sorry if I sound rude. I don't mean it like that. ))

Oh no. lol Really, I didn't take it that way at all. ^.^ I'm still getting used to using photoshop and I can't do very decent backgrounds as it is, but I'll definately continue to work on it. And as far as the poetry goes, I'm still an amateur. :P But I'll definately think about adding writing or poetry to the pictures to bring them out more. Thanks for the advice.
