Title: RED RANGER ROLL CALL!!!
Description: Power Rangers....GOO!!!
Moegedow - January 21, 2006 09:55 PM (GMT)
Hehehe, I'm not much of a fan of the Power Rangers as I was when I was a kid but a friend of mine showed me this little video of all of the past, present, and possible future of red rangers. It's all in Japanese but it's still cool to watch.
Red Ranger Roll CallThis is for any Power Ranger fan who's still out there.
Haru-Shinigami - January 21, 2006 10:05 PM (GMT)
This reminds me of that episode of the Power Ranger, "Forever Red"... that was an awesome episode. XD
This is just like that, except with the original Japanese Versions... which were also pretty awesome. :P
Robert The Small - January 21, 2006 10:13 PM (GMT)
Hah, Usually, in Series like power rangers, they just get the clips from the Super Sentai series, and put english in it :P.
But I doubt the one With the Japanese flag on it will make it to America though...
Haru-Shinigami - January 21, 2006 10:20 PM (GMT)
This one has like 23 Red Rangers... I'm pretty sure anyone that's not well educated about Power Rangers in North America will have their brains explode when they see this.
I think there's only 12 versions of Power Rangers in North America right now. I've been watching Power Rangers since I was 4 or 5 years old, and they'll forever be in my heart. =x
I still say Mighty Morphin Power Rangers is the most awesome of them all. xD
Itachi - January 21, 2006 11:02 PM (GMT)
Holy SHIT. XD
I remember about 4-5 of those. So awesome that the Mighty Morphin one was in there. That was my favorite of them all. Was always awesome though when rangers from past shows showed up to help the new ones. :D
Blazeman - January 21, 2006 11:09 PM (GMT)
So Zyuranger Red seems to be the favorite amongst a good number of us, eh?
Haru-Shinigami - January 21, 2006 11:12 PM (GMT)
I remember at least half of them either on North American T.V, on Japanese T.V when I went to Japan, or from the interweb. :P
Tommy Oliver is the most awesome Power Ranger EVAR. He was the uber-awesome Green Power Ranger in MMPR, then the White Power Ranger later on... I remember I thought he was awesome because his dagger thingy was a flute to call his Zord. Then he became the Red Ranger in Zeo, then the Black Power Ranger in Dino Thunder. He was also the character in Forever Red who gathered all the Red Rangers for "Forever Red". He is truly the most awesome Power Ranger, and the longgest running one too. xD

I always wanted that episode...shame the sentai community is so uptight with subtitles being distributed through bt and prefer selling fansubs...
Vengful Nightmare - January 22, 2006 03:42 AM (GMT)
o.o I remember 4 of em
Ninja red
Rex red- Has the movie
All red
Red racer- has the movie
*sniff* I loved it when i was young. I am happy they atleast had Might morphen, like Itachi said, was the best of all.
*Salutes*
Akuryou Densetsu - January 22, 2006 04:01 AM (GMT)
I loved the Power Rangers... they murdered the series in my opinion when they started the whole Galaxy, Lightspeed rescue etc.
I loved the series with Rita and Lord Zed as the enemy's. I still wanna see those old episodes someday again.
-Goes too search for the Green Ranger's Dragon Zord flute music to use for a Ringtone.-
I only recognize the rangers that also appeared on the American version of the series, though.
Strife_Hiro - January 22, 2006 04:22 AM (GMT)

Ah, good 'ol childhood memories.
I remember watching the first season way back. Good times, good times.
Man, I find it sorta' weird that I recognize so many of these guys...

Glitches are cool - January 22, 2006 04:55 AM (GMT)
Go go power rangers indeed. Loved the first ones, but they got butchered after the third series.
Hazzardous - January 22, 2006 05:06 AM (GMT)
Ah....at least 4-5 of those red PR's bing back good memories of my childhood ^-^
Haru-Shinigami - January 22, 2006 05:13 AM (GMT)
Yes... they bring back good memories of me using my toy Power Morpher, toy Blade Blaster and toy Megazord while I watched the Power Rangers kick the arse off Rita Repulsa and Lord Zedd. =3
Good, good memories... <3

I'm still a fan of the old Power Rangers (Even though most of that series was all Japan with American parts thrown in....you can clearly see it in the episodes.......I can't be the only one that see's it! :| )

I totally don't do a Power Rangers-based comic for another forum I go to.
The comic and a Power Rangers rant are on my website. *Blatant plug*
Anyway, that video made me go "Freakin sweet!"
But I still like Forever Red more. That was the ultimate Power Rangers fanservice. Aside from bringing Tommy back in Dino Thunder. I need to get that entire series @.o

If you thought "Forever Red" was the ultimate fanservice, then this clip would be a blowout for any Japanese sentai fan. Understand that chronologically speaking, the sentai series has been in Japan since 1975! The first Red Ranger you see there is VERY old school!
There's also another clip that's linked to this one
right here. Not only do you get to see the Gaorangers (Wild Force), transform but they've got some veterans helping them out! They are, in order of henshin sequence:
Red Falcon of Liveman (made in 1988, no US equivilant), Gingablue of Gingaman (Lost Galaxy), Megapink of Megaranger (In Space), Go Yellow of Go Go V(Lightspeed Rescue), and Big One of JAKQ (made in 1978. And you thought Tommy was old school).
As you can tell, I've still held onto my love for Power Rangers even though it's really corny. But now that I've discovered that it all originated from Japan, I've begun digging deeper into this Sentai history. This seems to be a huge part of Japanese culture, and it's highly unlikely it's gonna go away. And as long as Japan has Super Sentai, the US will always have Power Rangers.
So enjoy the nostalgia everyone! These are more rangers than the uS can handle!

Ah yes...good times my friend...good times.
I can still remember the power ranger toys I had since I was a kid, and I think I still have like a Power Ranger Pinball game stashed in my closet somewhere that I still play.
charles - February 3, 2006 07:59 PM (GMT)
recognized 7 different red rangers.
oh the memories....not so good but atleast not horrible memories.
strange though that they always meet challenges in some crater.
and huge battle's in those mecha's were always fought in some city
