Title: Sprite Resources

Rylune - March 19, 2004 01:12 AM (GMT)
I'm going to list all the spriting resources I can think of, so that if anyone needs something, they can look here first. I'd like others to post resources as well. Everytime someone posts one, Ill edit my post to include it.

--------------------------------------------

http://www.megaman-sprites.com/ - Every Megaman sprite you'll ever need. :P

http://tsgk.captainn.net/ - Shyguy Kindom. Assorted sprites.

http://rcz.saphiria.net/ - Ren's Comic Zone, sprite section. He hangs around here sometimes, and he makes comics.

http://www.panelmonkey.org/ - People's Sprites. Has sprites. Woo.

http://sfghq.emulationzone.org/sprites/sprites.php - They have alot of sprites in sheet and game form, but a lot of credit is needed...

http://moresprites.cjb.net/ - Good if you need Sonic Advance style sprites. They have other stuff too.

http://www.flashstand.com/ - They've got tons of stuff of just about anything you can imagine.

http://clik.to/Ninsprites - More Mario sprites than God himself, and quite a few others. Undergoing major restructuring though, so there may be some dead links.

http://www.planet-megaman.com/mm3/ImageGal...gallery-1.shtml - Has a nice amount of Megaman sprites, but all of them are custom or rare.

http://www.retrogamezone.co.uk/ - This site has quite a large selection of game sprites. It as well plays the games music while you view.

http://dioxaz.free.fr/index_en.html - The Leaf Forest Zone. A good amount of the site is in French, but trust me, you'll never find a better resource for better Sonic sprites and BGs. They even have custom made sprites, Sonic objects galore, and custom made objects!!!

http://primeop.tripod.com/mugenboss/ - Sprite effects and whatnot.

http://planetdreamcast.com/sonic/see/sprites/gba/index.html - Some sprites...

http://deekman.aftervision.com/ - Sprite and BG place.

http://www.geocities.com/sonicremix/sprites.html - Has trionic type sprites.

http://qsqq.tripod.com/sprites.html - Has some hard to find Sonic sprites and some customs.

http://www.bghq.com/ - Backgrounds.

http://wbg.wataresistant.com/ - More backgrounds.

http://bgexchange.boundforearth.com/ - And even more backgrounds.

http://www.bzpower.com/forum/index.php?act=ST&f=41&t=112283 - Chibi Bionicle sprites..

http://www.enpitsudo-dojo.com/sprites.html - 8 bit DBZ sprites... O.o

--------------------------------------------

Thanks, Creepy, for stickying this! :cweepy:

Creepy - March 19, 2004 01:30 AM (GMT)
Stickied!

And here are some of my own suggestions:

http://rcz.saphiria.net/shtml/sprites/index.shtml - Ren's Comic Zone, sprite section. He hangs around here sometimes, and he makes comics.

http://www.panelmonkey.org/ - People's Sprites. Has sprites. Woo.

EDIT: Please, no replies that don't involve giving a sprite resource. I'll delete any post that just says "thanks" or whatever.

Edgehog - March 20, 2004 05:41 PM (GMT)
Mechanical Manics - Has a nice amount of Megaman sprites, but all of them are custom or rare.

Also LSW but the colour isn't that good
They are the original colours but I use the Enpitsudo-dojo colours

Urutapu - August 20, 2004 03:39 PM (GMT)
Dude, those are the original colors.

Screw These Comics forum- The Very Big Amount Of Fighting effects. I think the name explains itself. Also, I suggest you read the entire thread for more.

oO?Kodama - November 18, 2004 10:28 PM (GMT)
Link Removed. It's spam, and doesn't seem to have any sprites. And that site says not to spam for linkage. Don't do it again. ~Creepy

He said there were alot of CoM sprite sheets there...

VERY FUNNY. To bad I have only seen like thousands of those sites!

And, about the CoM sprites, just go to the Spriters Resource soon. I saw a few things for the next update on the forum.

oO?Kodama - November 19, 2004 10:02 PM (GMT)
Veux's Sprite Site

This time, it's seriously a sprite site. It was made by somebody from Palace named Veux who apparently was one of the greatest rpers. He has some good sheets if you want them.

SpeedTH - November 19, 2004 11:40 PM (GMT)

http://spriting.simgames.net

A site Blaze showed me. Many rare sheets from games that have not even been released yet!!

Marty - November 20, 2004 12:16 AM (GMT)

Sorry for the Grave-digging but FlashStand is no more and The spriters resource has moved to http://sprites.fireball20xl.com/

Alter - December 9, 2004 06:18 AM (GMT)
Public Domain: Edited sprites at BnG Forums
Tons of public domain stuff. Mostly Megaman related.

Creepy - February 15, 2005 04:45 PM (GMT)
Just a reminder:
Don't post in this topic unless you are linking to a resource.

Anything else will be considered spam and dealt with as such.

Element_man - February 17, 2005 12:27 AM (GMT)
Game Sprites Archives.

GSA. Does not carry sprite sheets but they have a huge number of single poses (They're single files, not sheets) and animated sprites. Probably one of the more 'professional' spriting areas.

Gojirott - February 20, 2005 05:52 AM (GMT)
YOU'RE ALL WORTHLESS FOR NOT POSTING THIS

(the sprites link is near the top of the left-side menu)

>:(

Alter - March 11, 2005 07:07 PM (GMT)
The Mystical Forest Zone: Act 3
Check out the sprites on left. Seriously, this place has some really awesome stuff.

Alter - March 13, 2005 02:13 PM (GMT)
Retro Game Zone
This place is like Shyguy Kingdom. Lots of sprites and very few updates.

NightmareEden - June 15, 2005 03:07 AM (GMT)
Resources for ever elusive sprites from Guilty Gear

Guiltygear.ru A site with every frame to every animation for every character in Guilty Gear. That's roughly 500 sprites per character so they have them as seperatly downloadable Zip packs.

Zazz's sprite gallery Much more user friendly. Has main poses if you want them instead of having to download the packs.

killercore - June 17, 2005 06:44 PM (GMT)
For ignoring the part about "Don't post if you aren't putting a link to a resource and asking a dumbass question, you're now being warned. ^_^

Looks like I have an excuse to rip Rockman sprites... but why did the owner remove it?

Does anyone know if any of these sites have the suitless samus form zero mission sheet?

The Shyguy Kingdom -> It's the second link on the first page.

Click Here for a direct link to the sheet you are looking for.

BTW, don't post unless you're giving a link to a sprite resourse. That's the rule for this topic. My suggestion is that you should try searching first before asking.

Kojjiro - July 15, 2005 03:08 PM (GMT)
www.bghq.com

Theres a nifty place for backrounds,

This is not a request thread, so don't treat it like one. ~Creepy
