Shaun of the Dead is an English comedy, set around the horror cliché of the dead rising from their graves. From the trailer, it's hilarious.
It may not become a massive hit, or even be released outside of the UK, but I urge those who can to see this film. UK release is April 9th.

I demand stateside release for this movie. Hopefully a distributor will remember that Guy Ritchie isn't the only talented British director and bring it over for US zombie love.

I can assure you that the trailer doesn't show the best bits. Shauns various plans, David (Bernard in Black Books) in general and the intro are absolutely hilarious.

Saw it today.. this film is the best! lots of brit humour in there, and a film where some of the characters actually survive at the end! compare it to dawn of the dead, or house of 1000 corpses, sotd is a film you can watch all the way through, good pace with the jokes, lots of subtle humour too.. im gonna watch it again, because i find with films, ya watch em again, some of the jokes you missed first time round are noticed. 10/10. I'm disgusted by the amount of people I know who haven't seen this film. Though I suppose the jokes might not translate across the Atlantic.
