Hey does anyone watch the anime ultimate muscle?I do its really funny :lol: .My favorite character is kevin mask hes cool. B)

I watch the show on Sundays. They tend to stretch the truth about what wrestling's really all about. Mostly the characters make @$$es of themselves and most of the moves they do can seriously injure someone, if not kill them. ( i.e. The Kinniku Buster in real life is illegal to do around the world for safety reasons. Except maybe in Japan.)
But, I can't help but get a good laugh outta the show. Plus, you gotta love Kid Muscle's "The Cow Song."
With my rice I like to have some cow, cow, cow!
It tastes so very good, I don't know how, how, how!
It's my favorite form of chow, chow chow!

BTW, from what I'm hearing there was a version of the show that ran in the 80's covering the time King Muscle, Terryman, Robin Mask, Brocken Jr. and all the other legends fought. It's just never made it to America. Just the toys it sold. I hear there's a petition to bring that show here to TV that's online somewhere...

Its true there was a show along time ago starring there dads and the other legends.

I love the show it's awesome! I know a lot of people say that it's horribly dubbed but that's what makes it good. It's very humourous even with the puns and everthing and where else would we learn the importance of cow and rice?

Yes there was a show back in the 80's which starred their dads. It was called M.U.S.C.L.E I believe except that King Muscle was just called Muscleman and Terryman was known as Terry Bull. However, in japan the show as well as the manga was called "Kinnukuman" and the wrestlers were mainly superheroes. Ultimate Muscle is the sequel to Kinnukuman which is why it's called The Kinnukuman Legacy.

I'd say Kid Muscle would be my favorite then again Mr. Cheeks is funny.

XD Still the show overall can be a fun show. I also happen to think Kevin Mask is cool. He's like the anti-hero who actually isn't a goofball.

I watch the show every now and then. The show's pretty funny along with some awesome action. But I prefer the first season where Kid Muscle was the biggest coward. He was funniest back then IMO.

I watched it because it was wrestling. I continued watching it for unknown reasons... Then I figured it out. I was a fan before it came here... I used to collect the M.U.S.C.L.E toys when I was a kid. Sold most of them. If I had them now, $$$. It's funny at times, but I wish they didn't use McMahon as the other Kinniku names (Sure, they're bad. But not bad enough to be a McMahon).

EXACTLY. Kid Muscle is a parody of wrestling..

Mask and Nash kinda rhyme,and Mask has the same hair as nash...

Anyway,yeah. They do take certain aspects from WWE. The show itself is hilarious,in my opinion.

and Jasmine McMahon could be the equivalent of Lita... or not I haven't really seen Lita in a long time so I wouldn't know. I'm sure though that she doesn't resemble Stephanne McMahon that's for darn sure.

I have Ultimate Muscle Game on my GCN. And I can tell you this:
Their names on the show is NOT McMahon, it's McMadd. They only want it to sound like McMahon the same way they want Kevin Mask to sound like Kevin Nash.
Second, Jackie McMadd is NOWHERE near Lita, IMO.
And Mounsier Cheeks reminds me of Rene Dupree. Because they both keep showing off.
BTW, over at the other boards I go to, we have a "Kid Muscle and Roxanne" board in the best anime couples section. They're not as successful as most others, but then again, they're competing against the likes of Ranma/Akane, Ash/Misty, and Inuyasha/Kagome.

I had the game as well on the GCN and it was a rather fun game to play to tell the truth.

It's interesting how the show parodies real wrestling and yet in the original it's not. Personally Kid Muscle and Robanne would be a great couple to win Best Couple it's just too bad that no one can beat Ranma and Akane. Seems as though they're number one right now.

Oh yeah and doesn't Kid Muscle remind you of.. Shawn Michaels after all he was known as the Heart Break Kid

I can't really imagine Kid Muscle like HBK, but I remember someone making a WWE fanfic had this funny piece of material:

SHAWN: GAAH! KNOCK NEXT TIME! KNOCK!
ASSISTANT: Yes, sir! I'm sorry, sir!

This show is a riot, I usually always watch it when it comes on. I like Kevin Mask myself for the reason that he shares my first name. Well that and hes pretty damn cool.

I remember over at the "What Are You Eating Thread" M.A.X. of Plot Holes told me his favorite wrestler was Kevin Mask after I sang the Cow Song. Too bad he got himself banned and all...
And I can say this about Kevin Mask, at least he's never broken his leg by merely tripping on it like Kevin Nash did! XD

XD Yeah and too bad we'll never see a wrestler in the WWE singing the cow and rice song, or doing the things that the Ultimate Muscle characters do. That'd be pretty funny.

I took my favorite joke in my fanfics from this show! One episode, Kid Muscle is having a hard time entering a tournament because a Vince McMahn-esqe guy is keeping him with a large amount of other wrestlers. One is a guy who concentrates under a waterfall. Fortuantley for Kid, he is struck with driftwood. But, there are many replacements. Strangley, on the streets, in home, and other places, they are struck with driftwood as well, letting Kid enter the tournament. That was the best thing ever.
