Title: Best Bond Movie?
Description: Bond...James Bond...

There've been over 20 Bond movies; which one's your favorite?
Diamonds are Forever is an easy classic. Goldeneye and Live and Let Die are good, too.
Tommorow Never Dies sucked, I thought, but it wasn't the worst (Leave that to Never Say Never Again).

Goldeneye is easily my favourite, as I've seen it more times than I can remember. That and Janus is a cool villain, and Boris, well, who doesn't like Boris?
Other than that, I love them all except Tommorow Never Dies (Not enough Q, crappy villain) and OHMSS (Piss-poor Bond, and he gets married. Urgh), though I'm not really a fan of Die Another Day, either. Dodgy villain, though Jinx was a great Bond Girl. Cleese is no Q though.
I'd sit through all 20 (I don't count Casino Royale and Never Say Never Again) and I do get upset when they don't show them on Bank Holidays.

I'll have to say 'Goldeneye', although it should be know that the oldest Bond I've ever seen is 'Living Daylights' with Tim Dalton as Bond.
So yeah, I need to watch some of the Connery Bonds.
Kind of a subquestion here: since Brosnan's on his way out, who should be the next Bond? I'd like Clive Owen as Bond (especially after his work on
The Hire), but he already publicly turned it down.
And as a random musing on the Bond series, does anyone else think that Jason Statham would make a kickass Bond Villian?

Jason Statham would make a cool Bond villan, but I think Hugh Jackman would make a kick-ass Bond. My friend suggested Orlando Bloom, but after all the big movie roles he's gone through, I think that would be a bit excessive; besides, he's more cut out to be Zorro than Bond.
Also, something interesting about Bond: Take away the MI6 job, the cool gadgets, the martinis, and he's pretty much just a regular guy (though he may be a bit more charismatic than other people.)

Hate to rezzie a dead thread, but I think
this might be too cool for school enough to justify it.

Hell yeah.

Golden Eye is definately an instant favorite
I also liked Thunderball if not for the opening theme sung by Tom Jones it was just a real interesting movie all around.
Diamonds are forever is definately a classic... to tell the truth I like many of the old ones. The new ones, however, I could never get into.
Sorry if I'm posting in a dead thread, I hadn't known it was dead at the time.
