-One of the grander buildings of *the town* it overlooks the town square, the fountain being just outside the gates. The people of the town are encouraged to bring forth any problems they may have that cannot be dealt with by the locals enforcers. The Mayor's seat of office is within the building, as is the Clerks Guild, who see's to the training of sharp young minds who will hopefully rise above desk work to become the most important people within the town.
The building is two floors with an attic and vast network of cellars that supposedly extend under the town, connecting most of the important and oldest buildings, such as the law courts opposite, and the temple. It is built of stone and has a neat garden outside for receptions and summer events.-
