With the new film soon to be released, well, we need a topic dedicated to all things batty from the comics, to the older films, to the camp 60's show!

best baddies? hmmm. its hard, because there arnt many serious ones.
the Joker is just silly, the Penguin... well, he was silly too.
the Riddeler was... well, silly. and the Scarecrow was really silly. why do they all start with ''the''?

Are we talking about the same Joker? Who battered the second Robin to death before blowing him up? Who would shoot and (implied) rape Batgirl, paralyzing her for life? The man is a viscious miscreant.
The Penguin started off silly but then became Gotham's most powerful mob boss.
The Riddler has always been silly, but with a villainous flair.
The Scarecrow, the master of fear is an absolutely terrifying monstrosity. He doesn't even need description. He's just vile.
Anyway, what does everyone think of the shocking new revalation of the Red Hood?

hehehe i went to see 'The Hitchhiker's guide to the galaxy' yesterday and there was a trailer for a new Batman movie. it gives no info on it, just a black screen. then a flash of lightning came and you had 1 second to see the silhuete of batmans mask. (with the pointy ears) and then the batman symbol came up on the screen...I CAN'T WAIT!

THE MOVIE WAS AWSOME and there was a poster with batman on it just outside the screen that i saw the movie in, so there MUST be a new movie. (i also just got the films 'BATMAN FOREVER' and 'BATMAN AND ROBIN' about a week ago and they rock too!

How did it end? Did it end like the TV series (with the Scrabble) or like in the book, "We're going to the Restaurant at the End of the Universe."?
I didn't see Batman and Robin. I can't get over the ridiculous casting of Mr Freeze.

It ended with them setting off towards the restarant tat the end of the universe...and then the credits came. i wanted to see it!
