(Being carried on from RPGOE forums, playing members are: Naz, CutMan, Fuzzy Dice and myself, anyone who wants to play must PM me with a reasonable character for this rpg and for a background history. Those who have played in Realm before - Abbs for instance, I'll be nicer to :P)
War ravages the land. A war without balance. Swords and bows against machines is a battle that has already been won. Hope is slowly fading...
Yet in some parts of the lands, war hasn't yet touched some areas, and they remain as they always have been. But war, like sickness spreads until it contaminates all. A fact well known by soliders...
In a remote, heavily wooded area not too far north of Grada is a deep pool surrounded by rocks and trees, a peacful area to those who have been able to find it. A flash of brown under the pool's surface betrays that there is someone in the water...a few minutes later, longer than should be possible for a human, a head breaks the surface and a young woman slides out of the pool and sits on a rock to wring out her long brown hair. Nemrith Tysher, once known as Lady, once known as General, sighs and lays back, closing her mismatched eyes...
After meeting Blaze, a rebellious man who seems to just wnat to get killed and blow things up, things bagena to tale a turn for the worse, as the plans of the enemy machine factions become clearer, yet not clear enough and Blaze is not the most helpful of persons when it comes to divulging information....
Nemrith shrugged and left it for Dorian to deal with, and went to her own tent after saying goodbye to Blaze. She sat heavily at the table strewn with maps and began to sort through them. She hadn't lost her touch of making sense of the damn things...The machine factions were banding together it seemed, self moving carts teaming up with projectile weapons...merging the two. It sent shivers down the werewolf's spine. There was little news of what Aredar was doing, he was cvoering his tracks far too well for spies to discover even what he wore. Maybe she should ask Blaze...Nemrith pondered this, and read the casualty lists from the last skirmish. 75 dead. She put her hand on her sord hilt instintively, grimacing. She'd get revenge for them, against the cowardice of those who couldn't look into the faces of those they fought, but fired lead pellets into their chest from behind banks....
The next few days, Nemrith spent with the rebels, getting them into some order. The leaders of this group were good people, but lacked experience of command, and Nemriht had 100 years of being in the Northen Armies, and 75 of those had been in command, so she used what she knew and began to make plans.
I thought it was open....
...It's not the same as the first ones. This is something of a distorted future. Just create someone new if you want to play and if you do, please stick with it.
