Description: media is music...

Vivi - September 8, 2004 03:54 PM (GMT)
I love Maroon 5!! I want to get their album. Hope that fitty lead singer isn't going to be snogging in all his videos like that idiot Enrique did, though.
Who else likes them? Just me then
Their concerts are only standy uppy ones as well. I wouldn't mind them playing at the NEC coz I have no idea where Brum Academy is

ferret - September 8, 2004 04:29 PM (GMT)
Ahhh the Academy. It's opposite the entrance of Toys R Us....

And I take it you haven't seen their second video then....

Vivi - September 8, 2004 04:43 PM (GMT)
Oh thankies but its sold out and besides I'm not standing. Though they are good live.

ferret - September 8, 2004 04:44 PM (GMT)
lol, I guess you missed my edit....*evil giggle*

Vivi - September 8, 2004 04:47 PM (GMT)
They've had three. This love, harder to breathe and She will be loved. Haven't seen harder to breathe though. She will be loved has a lot of sexiness in it, rightio

ferret - September 8, 2004 04:49 PM (GMT)
Well...this love is pretty...rollicking.

lol, rock concerts are no fun it you can't stand up!! Okies, so Maroon 5 are kinda poppish, but since they're playing at the Academy you might as well call them rock!!

Vivi - September 8, 2004 04:57 PM (GMT)
But they are rock really. And that lead singer's voice is like the most distinctive voice ever
Yeah the this love video is strange. I prefer She will be loved.

ferret - September 8, 2004 07:05 PM (GMT)
His voice is the most distinctive ever?

There is no way I'd agree with that.....sorry, but his voice is kinda normal....

Vivi - September 8, 2004 08:56 PM (GMT)
I don't I think its lovely

Who do you think has the most distinctive voice then?

ferret - September 8, 2004 09:02 PM (GMT)
lol, it's a toughie...There are so many bands out thee y'see....and seeing as I haven't listened to every band its tough to say. A lot of vocalists for metal(ish) groups have good voices....Disturbed, Nightwish, Lacuna Coil, Cradle of Filth......

Vivi - September 8, 2004 09:31 PM (GMT)
Um, who? :P
I'e heard Evanescance I suppose. But her voice isn't distinctive. I've heard loads like her.

ferret - September 9, 2004 09:21 AM (GMT)
lol and I missed out a very obvious one.....

Marylin Manson.

fuzzy dice - September 9, 2004 02:23 PM (GMT)
maroon 5? excuse me?

Vivi - September 9, 2004 02:51 PM (GMT)
Er... yeah. What, don't you like them?

ferret - September 9, 2004 05:26 PM (GMT)
Each to their own fuzzy.....

Vivi - September 9, 2004 06:32 PM (GMT)
Yep. Or maybe he hasn't heard of them. Never mind. Hurray my pay packet is 35 quid so I can go to get the album now!

fuzzy dice - September 9, 2004 07:22 PM (GMT)
no, no. i wasnt bad mouthing vivi's taste in (i think) music. i meant i hadnt ever heard of maroon 5 and wondered who they are.

Vivi - September 9, 2004 07:42 PM (GMT)
They are a very good band which is kinda rock. They're nothing like Busted though, they're completely original

fuzzy dice - September 9, 2004 07:49 PM (GMT)
i see. give me the offspring anyday.

Vivi - September 9, 2004 07:57 PM (GMT)
Er yeah the offspring. I used to love them, but I've gotten bored now

fuzzy dice - September 9, 2004 08:12 PM (GMT)
nah.. nah!!
pfft why dont you get a job!!

Vivi - September 9, 2004 08:16 PM (GMT)
Yessy thats a song, but as for jobs I have one.

CutMan - September 9, 2004 08:33 PM (GMT)
Maroon 5, not my favorite band....but I can tolerate them...a little....

David Draimans voice all the way! or maybe Hansi of Blind Guardian. *shrug* or nightwish...or...shoot, there are so many.

fuzzy dice - September 9, 2004 08:42 PM (GMT)
still never heard of them...

ferret - September 9, 2004 09:27 PM (GMT)
I have the same vocal range as Tarja from nightwish :D

CutMan, if you have the album Oceanborn, listen to track 3....the scream she does towards the end is the equivalent to mine!

fuzzy dice - September 9, 2004 09:32 PM (GMT)
sounds.. great?

Abbatoir - September 9, 2004 09:51 PM (GMT)
The Offspring! Good old fashioned punk rock!
Better than "Maroon 5"...

fuzzy dice - September 10, 2004 09:50 AM (GMT)
on account of that iv acctualy heard of the offspring.

Abbatoir - September 10, 2004 10:53 AM (GMT)
And they're just better. Dexter Holland has a distinctive voice. The guy from Maroon 5 just has a normal one.

ferret - September 10, 2004 12:16 PM (GMT)
Yes, as I already said.....*hits head off desk and walks out*

Abbatoir - September 10, 2004 01:07 PM (GMT)
And a partridge in a pear tree.

Wow, that's cool. You should learn to sing so I can kidnap you, bring you to America, and make you the lead singer of my band.

But I've already encouraged you to do that. So, do it.

ferret - September 10, 2004 03:49 PM (GMT)
:wah:

I don't wanna be a lead singer.......I don't think I do anyway....

Vivi - September 10, 2004 04:22 PM (GMT)
LOOKY! You can listen to sound clips of the lovely Maroon 5 :cloud9:

Why is that? oh well, how about back up vocalist? you can sing in the back ground every so often.

ferret - September 10, 2004 04:47 PM (GMT)
I've been kinda made to think I can't sing even though I probably can and have no confidence in my singing anymore....

Hah, everyone can sing.....I think.

Besides, if I'm going to be lead singer, perhaps I'll be so awful you'll sound great.

Abbatoir - September 10, 2004 05:17 PM (GMT)
It's always a possibility.

ferret - September 10, 2004 06:16 PM (GMT)
Maybe....

I can be your backing screamer though.

CutMan - September 12, 2004 12:34 AM (GMT)
He awoke in the middle of the foggy london street...all alone....the city looked empty...he rose from the puddle he lay in and stood in the middle of the street.

"I could use a back up screamer, could be useful and unique."
