felix777 - August 29, 2004 01:37 AM (GMT)
hey guys/gals i was wondrin( i always am!!!)ok at the end of gs2 the alex doesnt get ALL the golden sun but how much does isaac get cuz it seems like isaac gets 25% cuz he gets mars stars power ( hmm i thought the mars star was thrown in at the end....) well pleez tell me wat u think. u no how much percent u think thx bye

That's actually a good question. My guess is that since the Wise One said "You're power is nearly limitless" or something, that Isaac got maybe 1/4 of the power.

felix777 - August 29, 2004 02:00 PM (GMT)
yea i think he got 1/2 too...... sometimes i wish they would just come out and say it in that game...

ZaberTheAlmighty - August 29, 2004 06:52 PM (GMT)
Yeah. It makes people angry. -_-

SuicuneSol - August 30, 2004 03:20 PM (GMT)
...But is there really a percentage to this? I disagree with your percentage opinion. I think it would seem goofy for the Wise One to say, "I, The Wise One, imbeud the Mars Star with 25.6789 percent of the forming Golden Sun."

I would also like to take this moment to remind you, that you actually see the Wise One imbueing the Mars Star with the Golden Sun's forming power. You don't remember and take it into account, but in the first game in the chamber of the elemental stars, the Wise One tells Isaac to take out the elemental star. Play the original GS again, and you'll notice it.

Or do you already?

felix777 - August 30, 2004 03:44 PM (GMT)
OOOO yea that thing where it looks like hes charging it up with psyenergy..... but if the mars star is thrown in the lighthouse how does isaac still get the power?

ZaberTheAlmighty - August 31, 2004 01:35 AM (GMT)
That is a good question, Felix...

Since it was only the mars star, and there are four stars, I stand by what I said about 1/4.

felix777 - September 1, 2004 01:19 AM (GMT)
yep me 2 i think 1/4ths

liltinyinsignificentboy - September 9, 2004 11:51 PM (GMT)
this has bugged me for so long.

and why the hell were felix
and crew (excluding isaac and co)
trying to light the beacons when
they had no elemental stars
isaac had the mars one and they
planned that they didnt want to meet up
with isaac if they didnt then the beacon couldnt of been lit if they didnt join
up. (if you are confused then read this little paragraph below)

felix wanted to light the beacons but said that he
didnt want to meet isaac if they didnt meet up
the beacons wouldnt of been able to light up

They only lacked the Mars Star, and they expected Saturos/Menardi/Karst/Agatio to take it from them.

felix777 - September 11, 2004 10:22 PM (GMT)
uuuuuuhhhhh no they ( well felix and sheba ) saw saturos and menardi die sooo technically they had to depend on agatio and karst

...perhaps - September 12, 2004 02:21 AM (GMT)
I'm not sure they were even terribly aware of Karst and Agatio, in fact definatley not Sheba. There's no telling what they expected to happen, except that they probably didn't really have a plan. The thing about the Mars Star being in the lighthouse is the same: it doesn't really work. I think the answer is just: Don't nitpick at the plot. As for how much power was in the Star, I figured it was a very small portion such as 1%. I don't think that each elemental star has a particular capacity for its element's worth of the GS, therefore 1/4 is just an idea I would look on as nice because it's a round portion.

does it really matter how much he got? alex didn't get it all so he'll be after it. also the wise one was able to beat alex so quickly i'm guessing that he is missing a fair bit of it

craft user - November 13, 2004 04:12 AM (GMT)
this brings back memoris. we should promis when GS 3 is anoced (if ever) to start saveing money for it (by yourself of corse) but just to give people someting to look forward to ¬¬)

goldensunrules - November 18, 2004 02:07 AM (GMT)
it better come out
i think it'll be on the ds

I'd say that as far as the Wise One beating Alex easily, I think the Wise One has no limit to his power, and therefore regardless of how much power Alex has he still can easily be defeated by WO unless he has limitless power.

Just a thought... If the Golden Sun provides limitless power, how do you get a limited portion of that power? Oh well...

goldensunrules - December 3, 2004 01:51 AM (GMT)
fair point there. but you'd think that having the golden sun power would top the wise one wouldn't you? well if gs3 does come out we'll have to find out in that

...perhaps - December 5, 2004 04:40 AM (GMT)
As far as the full power of the golden sun against the Wise One, I dunno, maybe there'd be some sort of different levels of infinite power or something... Or you just can't defeat the wise one or someone with the whole golden sun.

I wonder if collecting all the djinn in Weyard is another source of limitless power.
