anyway, I think you should get to use a totally new party, and you will be able to link up with tla and receive certain items and weapons (like, yeah: my granddad Isaac had this excalibur. you can have it)

Y'know, one thing that kinda troubles me is that they may not have set anything up in GS2 for data transfer. If this is the case, GS3 just can't be as good as it might otherwise. That would be a reason for them to make different characters. Maybe it would be best to get the old characters' children. If they do that, you'd better also get Eoleo :smile:

But maybe the link-up system would work in a different way. Like the one for Pokémon colosseum. Where the data on how to run is transferred from colosseum to the gba... So the newer golden sun would work like that and take information.

I don't know about Pokemon Colloseum so I don't really know what you mean, but I hope they don't need something they didn't put in GS2. I suppose they could come out with a new GS2 that can transfer to GS3 if it came to that.
