Title: Which Djinni is the best?
Description: Is it attack or defense?
Marlin ßeta - August 10, 2003 01:56 AM (GMT)
I think that Flint and Geode are the best djinn in the game. They deal heavy damage and are great for just that reason. It's hard to beat that. As far as defense goes, Flash is certainly #1. No other djinni can compare with one that reduces a blisteringly powerful 500HP damage attack to no more than 10HP. That is some tough stuff.
windchild - November 6, 2003 03:42 PM (GMT)
personally, i like haze, because if you have a character low on Hp you can keep them from being attacked.
Marlin ßeta - November 6, 2003 06:00 PM (GMT)
You really are crazy about Wind / Jupiter aren't you? :P
mercurymaster345 - November 8, 2003 10:27 PM (GMT)
B) I think that Balm, Serac, Eddy, Shade, Whorl and Gale are the best B)
mercurymaster345 - November 8, 2003 10:29 PM (GMT)
 i like all of them any way
Marlin ßeta - November 8, 2003 11:49 PM (GMT)
All rightee then, WHY do you like those djinn? It's not enough to just say that you like them. Explain a little. Tell us more.
Lor - November 16, 2003 06:22 PM (GMT)
i like sarec cuz its mercury type and its one hit ko. its helped me out alot. as for defense, id have to agree with marlin, but second wud be shade cuz of the shield i think.
Marlin ßeta - November 16, 2003 07:54 PM (GMT)
Serac doesn’t have a one hit KO. Where did you get that idea? Anyway, I think I left Shine off my original list of heavy hitters. Anyway, I agree. Shade would have to be #2 in providing good defense for one turn with Granite being last.
Max - December 17, 2003 11:36 PM (GMT)
Flash is most definitely the best Djinni. Many times he has come in handy when i needed time to stall a powerful foe. Another Djinn, although not as good, is Lull because of the temporary cease fire it grants. That usually buys me some time to let my djinn recover.
Max - December 29, 2003 10:36 PM (GMT)
Um....suuuurrrre ok...or maybe it was just dumb luck?
Marlin ßeta - December 20, 2003 03:12 PM (GMT)
I don’t like Lull that much because just having that one turn advantage for no attacks going off just perturbs me. Lull is actually better if used by a slow character like Garet (but only if Garet is faster than the enemy). That way your party can attack, but not the enemy party (at least I think that’s how it works).
Max - December 28, 2003 12:30 AM (GMT)
Yes, I agree, but in the most desperate times when I needed to buy time to let my Djinn recover, Lull did the trick.
Silver Chaos Adept - December 28, 2003 07:34 PM (GMT)
Personally I like Kite & Flash & Granite..... They saved my butt so many times! :D I would be SO lost without them! Especially Granite, who has been my bestest friend in so many countless battles. You see I have an aversion to training.
Max - December 28, 2003 09:13 PM (GMT)
You like Granite over Flash? I mean...doesn't Flash prevent like a lot more damage? Oh well...whatever...
Silver Chaos Adept - December 28, 2003 09:41 PM (GMT)
Isn't Granite the one that holds down your opponent? He saves my butt anyway. I like Flash too though. :D
Max - December 29, 2003 01:11 AM (GMT)
Nope Ground is the one that holds down your opponent, and later on you can get Petra. They both paralyze your enemy for a turn.
Silver Chaos Adept - December 29, 2003 09:37 AM (GMT)
Ooops. Then Ground is my bestest friend. I'm so thick sometimes. Sorry Granite.
Granite: :(
AWWWWW!!! Everybody be nice to the rejected Djinn!
Granite: :(
Silver Chaos Adept - December 29, 2003 11:48 AM (GMT)
I think the revieving Djinn all suck. I hust put them so I can summon them quickly. I very rarely use them BUT they haven'y let me down yet. Maybe I'm just lucky. :D Or maybe Djinn are extra-nice to girls. :D
Mist: Like we would ever.
Flint: Djinn 4 ever! Hey, that rhymes! :D
<_< Nuff said.
Marlin ßeta - December 30, 2003 04:09 AM (GMT)
It was probably a malfunction in the random number generator.
Max - December 30, 2003 08:28 PM (GMT)
In other words, dumb luck, like I said...why don't we trade copies of our games? My reviving djinn never work.
Marlin ßeta - December 31, 2003 04:32 AM (GMT)
Mine neither. But who really cares? Just cast the Revive psynergy once you’ve collected four Venus djinn.
Silver Chaos Adept - December 31, 2003 11:03 AM (GMT)
Fair enough. :D But then, dumb luck does work 4 me...
Marlin ßeta - January 1, 2004 03:16 PM (GMT)
Hey. Whatever floats your boat, I say.
Silver Chaos Adept - January 1, 2004 04:51 PM (GMT)
That sounded a little odd....
Mist: * snickers*
MIST!!!!! <_<
Mist: You're just lucky.
:D GO ME!!!! * waves flag of go meness*
Mist: Idiot. <_<
Marlin ßeta - January 2, 2004 03:52 AM (GMT)
I like quick, catchy rhymes. I think that sums up my last comment pretty well.
Silver Chaos Adept - January 2, 2004 10:30 AM (GMT)
<_< Whatever. I am very annoyed, as I'm trying to think up decent joke ideas for a cartoon strip and I have none. Bummer.
Max - January 5, 2004 01:10 AM (GMT)
I know! why don't you make one about an incredibly fat and lazy cat who's owner is a loser who can't get a date?
Alex the Evil - January 5, 2004 01:39 AM (GMT)
Flash and Shade are the djinn that star in my DDD-Die Doom Dragon-plan. It has'nt worked yet, but still, it's pretty good. Flash is WAY better though. He makes Creul Rain only do about 15hp off! Hehe, that'll knock that evil, malicious grin off the Doom Dragon's face. The plan is use flash, make shade recover, use shade, make flash recover, repeat. And I love that djinn that makes your enimies attack themselves or their allies.

Max - January 5, 2004 02:11 AM (GMT)
Yes, you mean Meld? "e Stop hitting yourself, Doom Dragon! "e
Silver Chaos Adept - January 5, 2004 11:21 AM (GMT)
Hey people! I just had music, which was total chaos as per usual, and now I have a headache.
Quote from music lesson:-
My friend: Get off my C key!
Me: It's not your C, it's my C you idiot!! You see?!
I am referring to C keys on keyboards.
Another Quote:-
Teacher: Does anyone want to click the pulse?
Me: * to my friend* No, but I could bash my head on the table in rhythem if you like.
Plus my friend found the 'Fireworks' mode on the keyboard and tryed to make really loud fireworks sounds all lesson. <_<
Marlin ßeta - January 21, 2004 03:07 AM (GMT)
Spiky things? Is it dangerous like a Puffer from the Metroid series? :D
Marlin ßeta - January 15, 2004 02:38 AM (GMT)
Not Meld, Mold. Mold makes them "hit themselves." I believe the quote is, "Doom Dragon, Stop hitting yourself!" :D
Max - January 15, 2004 09:56 PM (GMT)
Intersting story, Silver...anyway, yea that's what I'm talking about. Mold. Haha that djinni is so weird.
Silver Chaos Adept - January 16, 2004 01:12 PM (GMT)
No kidding. Man I'm bored. I drew a crap cartoony picture of Auron being hit on the head with a blitzball. That's how bored I am. <_<
Marlin ßeta - January 18, 2004 05:35 AM (GMT)
Max - January 18, 2004 11:05 PM (GMT)
It's kind of like a colored volleyball I think...I dunno. Yeah Silver, you musta been pretty bored...hey, just what happened to Silver anyway? Silver, can you still post? Something wrong? I'm worried.
Silver Chaos Adept - January 19, 2004 01:05 PM (GMT)
Awww, I feel liked! Hehehehe.... 'Doom Dragon, stop hitting yourself!' Priceless... Yeah a Blitzball is like a colored volleyball. Sometimes it has spiky things.
Silver Chaos Adept - January 21, 2004 01:06 PM (GMT)
Marlin, it's used in the Spirian sport Blitzball. I highly doubt they're dangerous. At least not to skilled Blitzball players. So they would be pretty leathal to Tidus, ya?
Marlin ßeta - January 25, 2004 05:48 PM (GMT)
Yeah. I'm still confused.
Silver Chaos Adept - January 27, 2004 01:06 PM (GMT)
Ah well, never mind. Blitzball is a confusing sport. Don't even go there, K? It even confuses me.
