Yeah, I heard about this earlier today. But it would be so awesome if it were real. At least, if they got some better-looking people to play, well, all those parts :P They were all ugly! But that would be awesome.

If this had been announced at any other date other than APRIL 1ST I would have been more likely to believe it.
Honestly, Zelda plot structures wouldn't lend themselves to a good movie anyway.

IGN's post in the link windseer gave us did show they that were hoping to one day make a Zelda movie. It also impressed me to see how much knowledge they did have of the game, and that they recognized the problems the trailer had to begin with.

I hate to revive a dead topic(most of this site is "dead" after all)
but i saw this and had to say:
this looks like the same reaction that people had to the news that the directors of american pie bought the movie rights or other such rumors of games to movies...
most suck when converted like that(two big examples: Tomb Raider and Hitman)
though the rumors for a metroid movie have resurfaced and are alledgedly confirmed....
the truth of this to me is currently UN-CONFIRMED...
the zelda movie would have to be, like, 3 movies or more to get all the stuff from the ocarina of time into it...
so now that ive stated in my obviously belated reaction to this post and have "res"ed this somewhat, thank you and good bye...
