Title: SuicuneSol's Work
Description: REALLY?!!!

Sui-kun - February 12, 2008 06:16 AM (GMT)
For those of you who don't know, I frequent Fire Emblem Planet about 10x as much as the Roc's Nest now. I'm a fan of their active RPG, and I also sprite somewhat. Not frequently, but that's only because I only sprite when I've inspiration.

100% of everything here is what I created by splicing/photo-shopping either existing Fire Emblem mugs/battle sprites, or created from "scratch." Scratch meaning building pixel by pixel. I have yet to produce a mug, however, that is completely from scratch. That is definitely in the foreseeable future, though. I have faith that I can do it.

user posted image This is probably the first mug I ever made. The hair is completely custom, and the robe is almost nearly custom. Reminiscent of Soren, again.

Finally found something worth posting in, good job Suicine.

The short blonde headed red robed boy from your last post looks a lot like Matthew the Thief, coincidence or was it taken from him?

That's very impressive work though, I can't recognize many details at all from the orignal FE characters they came from. But, I never played Sacred Stones, keep that in mind. Most of those characters seem like they could easily pass on their own for an orignal game though.

This was something I would've like to have done, as a way to tranfer my drawn characters into computer realized animations.

Whoa! 0_0 Very nice. B) What art program did you use? Also did you do them from scratch?

Sui-kun - February 21, 2009 07:44 PM (GMT)
No, I'm not that good yet, Windseer. XD Most are splices, but that isn't to say that none of those pixels were personally placed by me. I use Photoshop 7.0 only.

That being said, what I have here today is personally made by me. They aren't sprites though. It's actual artwork, however amateur it is. The artwork is of character's from FEP's Skylessia RP.
