I started photoshoping seriously about.... 1-2 months ago, and I focused on making sigs. I've posted my work on my own forum, but I haven't gotten much actual criticism or meaningful comments and ,thus, I've decided to see what everyone here thinks of my graphics.

Couple things to know:
1. I never use c4d renders.
2. I hate brushes, but I want to learn how to use them well.
3. I hate rendering images, but do so quite often nowadays.
4. I never use unrendered images for my sigs.

For the effects in banner 2... what filter did you use?

For each of the backgrounds, I used a variety of filters. I don't remember which filters I used for that one. I'll get back to you after I jog my memory.

Find renders online. I notice most of yours have an outer glow. While nice, it's something I might change. You also seem to overcrowd now and then. On that Chii picture, I'd have just left the middle picture, and not used the logo either. Do you have it saved as a .psd?

Overall, they are quite good, but on a few of them I think you did too much.

You cand find really good fonts at this site, http://www.freefonts.org.uk/ whats the best photo shop you can recommend?
I feel Corel Paint Shop Pro doesn't have what I need.

The Chii one was a request from a friend of mine. He wanted the logo in it...
I'm to blame for the overcrowdedness, however.

Also, I do find renders online. Just I find that some of the less widely known anime don't have renders already made...

Lionman, I use www.1001fonts.com for all my fonts.
Also, I use Adobe Photoshop 7. There are newer versions, but I find a strange attraction to the one I have on my computer....(it might be the fact that getting a new version of photoshop costs money...)
